Business Owner

Debi Boushey, Board Certified Hypnotist and Certified Instructor, has been practicing and teaching meditation, metaphysical mind sciences and hypnosis since 1982 with students and clients around the world.

She was the co-​founder and principle Instructor at the highly acclaimed ISHI School Of Hypnosis Training in Berkeley for twenty-​two years.

Debi has served as a Board of Director for two non-​profit organizations for a total of fifteen years where she acted as Fundraiser and Event Planner.

She has been the Smoking Cessation specialist for the Peralta Community Colleges for the last 10 years with great success. She has a large following for both her Healed Heart Hypnosis Blog and YouTube Channel.

She was the National Guild of Hypnotists Member of the year in 2006, a Solid Gold Presenter in 2006 and 2011 and was inducted into the prestigious Order of Braid Council in 2011.

I went to Debi to get my self onto a weight loss régime. I 57 years old, and by nature a very down to earth person, and somewhat skeptical of things like hypnosis. But Debi put me at ease right away with her warmth and sense of humor. As soon as I sat in her chair I felt relaxed and immediately trusted her. I came out of the appointment with new resolve, and since August (2015) have lost 22 lbs! When she asked me what imagery we could use to represent my weakness for food, I said, «Cake!» So she used that in our session, and miraculously, I have not had my usual sugar cravings at all. I will no doubt go back for a refresher, but I am committed to my régime after only one session.

My son has an anxiety disorder that is triggered by homework and exams, and his freshman year of high school was a nightmare because he almost nightly had panic attacks, bouts of crying etc. We tried cognitive and talk therapy – being a teenage boy, he was not responsive to either. Over the summer he had 3 sessions with Debi and he has yet to have even 1 panic attack around his homework this school year! I feel beyond grateful to have found her and to see my son’s suffering finally abate. I highly recommend her and her services, and in addition, she has a lovely and warm presence. A true healer!!!

Debi Boushey was my hypnosis teacher in 2005. She is by far one of the very best hypnotists in the country. I can say this as I have done hypnosis sessions and classes with all the greats. I studied with many hypnotists at the National Guild of Hypnotists’ international conventions over many years, including the protégé of Dave Elman, Jerry Kein at his Omne Center. I’ve also studied with and been hypnotised by the very best living Ericksonian hypnotist in the world, Igor Ledochovsky, and the famous Dr. Brian Weiss.
Debi Boushey (formerly Debi Livingston) is in this class of the greats. Her office is right here in Berkeley. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing hypnotist available here to guide us to our best selves.

Healed Heart Hypnosis is fabulous. Debi teaches you how to put yourself in a self-​hypnotic state where you can make suggestions to yourself. This can be useful for so many areas where you want to move forward in your life, but also for simple, practical things. Recently I traveled to London. The 8 hour time difference and jet lag would cause me to be wide awake at 3 a.m. I would go into my self hypnosis, tell myself «it is the middle of the night, go back to sleep and wake up at 8». It worked like a charm every time!

Debi is a miracle worker!!! After my first session, I had absolutely NO cravings for sugar! She has an incredible gift and amazing healing energy and a very soothing voice. Debi is an amazing talent with wonderful gifts. She personally has terrific energy and her integrity is pure. She creates a warm, loving, safe environment for the hypno process to take place. With one session I received tremendous results. No more taste for sugar and coffee! I am going back for more sessions. You must give yourself a gift and try this.
