I called and explained my issue and rather than waste my time and money they told me what he thought was wrong and said it’d prob. be an easy home fix. It was. Thanks so much for the honest feedback despite it meaning you didn’t get paid. We need more solid service folks like y’all.

Called to get a technician to come look at a dishwasher. The person who answered took down my info and that of the dishwasher. She told me she would call back within an hour to let me know if this is something they can look into.

Majeed and his wife do exceptional work. Quick, smart, efficient. Helped us determine what kind of dishwasher we wanted, to replace one we bought without their help, five years ago. Installed, cleaned up, and ready to roll, in almost no time. I am very grateful that Majeed and Flora live and work in our area. Look no further for excellent professionals.

Oh my goodness I’m thrilled to recommend Majeed’s work! I called Friday night because my stove wasn’t working, and he was able to fit me in on Saturday, and worked with me to find a time that worked. The problem turned out to be pretty minor, and he fixed something else too while he was at it, and then answered a bunch of other appliance questions for me – just because he’s really knowledgable and really interested in helping people (as far as I can tell). Everything about the experience of meeting with him and having him work in my home was excellent — I’m saving his card and will definitely call him if and when I need help with an appliance again. Feeling grateful to know about him as a resource! Highest possible rating.

Hajeed is the best! He just spent 2 hours getting our old dryer to work again — including going up on the roof. He and Flora are a wonderful team. You should see them work together like a surgeon and a nurse. They are wonderfully responsive — usually they arrive within a few hours or less. They do fast, good work for a low price and are a fun couple, to boot! Btw, don’t be fooled. There is another person claiming to be Hi Tech. This is the good guy!

Like many of the other reviewers, I was so thrilled that I received service within half an hour of calling. The problem was solved right away.

Majeed Hariri is incredible. I called with an urgent dishwasher issue. Not only did he call me back immediately, which is rare around here, he came promptly.
He investigated the problem, explained it to me, told me my options. He did a careful, thoughtful job with the repair, and he cleaned up immaculately around it.
All of this from start to finish, from first phone call, to completed job, took 1 ½ hours.
I am stunned and so, so impressed. As a homeowner, I have had loads of little issues in the house, and I have hired many folks along the way over the years. NEVER have I had such excellent, prompt service.
Majeed is a consummate professional. And to boot, he is a helluva nice guy. As a single mom, it’s always nice to have someone in the home you feel 100% safe with.
I cannot recommend Majeed Hariri highly enough! I never even write Unilocal reviews, but in this case, I felt compelled.

Wow! I left a voice mail for Majid regarding my washing machine problem. In less than 30 minutes I got a call back. Majid said he didn’t service LG machines, because they have so many issues (boo hoo) but then he proceeded to take a few minutes to inquire more about my problem and ended up walking me through what I needed to do to fix it. He was right! No more standing water! No more off-​balance loads! No more clothes that smell bad! Now I just have to get him to give me his mailing address so I can pay him at least something for his time and expertise. Woo hoo! I will send everyone your way, Majid!

Majid recently serviced our dishwasher, quickly diagnosing the problem and remedying efficiently and without any hassles. We’ve worked with him in the past and its a real pleasure dealing with him. The fee was reasonable and he was able to respond quickly. Wish all service providers were as easy to deal with.

Majid came out to fix my dryer (which had stopped drying) in November. He was prompt, professional, and quickly fixed the problem. Unfortunately, the drying stopped again. He came out, for no additional fee, and fixed another part of the system. But the drying stopped a third time. At that point, Majid’s wife (who handles all the calls and scheduling) told me the problem was probably loose wiring, and any further attempts to repair it would be lengthy and costly. She offered to return the costs of the parts since Majid wasn’t able to fix it.
I would certainly call them again for future repairs. Note that their initial fee is $ 125.

A month ago Majid fixed our washer, then recently our dryer broke. I called him, he came out the same day, and evaluated the situation. He quickly determined what was needed, gave us an estimate, and ordered the parts. He had the parts delivered one-​day service, and at his suggestion, he came out the next day (a Saturday) to install them. We then learned he was about to go out of town for a week, and didn’t want us to have to wait a week for a working dryer! The price was $ 15 dollars over his estimate, and he refused to let us pay more than his estimate. He is very professional, punctual, and a true gentleman. I recommend him highly.

Good service, knowledgeable reasonable fee. I don’t know what I can say that others have already said. We have a small commercial establishment and have used Hi Tech for mostly washer dryer repair. One of our dryers is so old it doesn’t have a model number on it, but it still works really well, thanks to Hi-​Tech.

Majeed, the owner of Hi-​Tech Appliance and his wife Flora were both great. They came out to inspect our 12 year old Dacor oven and discovered the problem would involve an expensive repair. We decided to go with a new Bosch double-​oven instead. Majeed was able to get us an excellent price on a new unit and he and Flora came back to do the installation. Both are great to work with, honest, polite, and hardworking. They finished the installation and cleaned up the mess. We are very happy with the double-​oven and highly recommend Hi-​Tech Appliance.

Excellent. Magid and his wife (who does scheduling and bookkeeping) provide top-​notch service. They came out to check on my oven and range. Magid fixed my oven problem on the spot, and gave me an estimate for replacing the self-​lighting burners that had stopped self-​lighting. He was honest and cautious in his estimation, telling me it was possible we would have to replace additional pieces to make the burners work. Then he squeezed me in right away for this work right before Thanksgiving. He came on time and did the second repairs, and it was less than estimated. Very professional team, highly recommend. Note that appliance repair companies usually charge a service call fee, at least for the first service call, and this company does too.

We had Majid come to fix our washer 2 years ago and he was so great, arrived promptly when he said he would, fixed everything for a very reasonable price. And my 8 year old washer worked perfectly for two years! Until this week…
So of course I gave Hi-​Tech a call. Unfortunately they no longer service Alameda so now I have to find someone new. Boo hoo hoo! If you’re lucky enough to live in their service area, these are the folks to call!

Happy to add to the chorus of approval for Majeed and Flora. Called at 10:15am on Monday morning and Majeed arrived at 2pm to fix the washer-​that-​refused-​to-​drain. He also took a look at our recently-​inherited cooker and gave us a prognosis (she looks like an indestructible war beast, but may not be worth investing too much money in).
Majeed is a delightful chap and we’ll happily invite him back if we encounter future issues.

Our washer and dryer were almost out of order and too noisy, My girlfriend was looking to find the new set to buy but one of our friends recommended Hi-​Tech Appliance, Majeed with his sweet wife came to our house and after 2⁄3 hours work fixed the problem with very decent price!!!
They did very neat, clean precise job.
Unbelievable, we couldn’t believe he saved us at least $ 1400⁄1500.
Highly recommended.
