Working by appointment, we digitally preserving, archiving, and restoring home movies. We work with a variety of media: 8 mm & Super-​8 film, VHS, Video 8, Hi-​8, Digital 8, audio tapes and more. Home Movie Store provides personal services to convert and enhance home movies into digital files you can watch, edit, and convert in formats now and in the future.

History

Established in 2004.

As a filmmaker and technologist, I started the Home Movie Store as a way to help friends, family, and others find simple solutions to working with our home movies and memories in an constantly changing digital world. I’ve worked with hundreds of families to bring these valuable memories forward in a way they can use them now and in the future. I work to save everyone money so they don’t need to redo this process every few years.

Bryan D.

Business Owner

Bryan is an award winning independent filmmaker based in Los Angeles. A native of California, he was born in Sacramento and relocated to San Francisco in 2009. Since the age of 17, he has written and directed five short films exploring human relationships in urban life. Bryan’s work spans across mediums such as photography, cinema, and new media. He started the Home Movie Store in 2004 to help families archive and enjoy their home movies in the new digital world.
