Not sure I can sum up what a fantastic massage therapist Kinney is in one short review. His talent goes far beyond simple massage. He has healing hands (a gift from God!) that can find the sorest muscle, which he then gently but firmly works on to release all discomfort. He is also a gifted listener, making sure to get feedback as he works. My entire family — three generations! — have gone to Kinney for more than 20 years. And Kinney doesn’t rest on his past training, he is always looking to improve his skills so he can give his clients the best care. I don’t know how we would live without him, and owe him a debt of gratitude for the relief he has given me from migraines and back pain. Definitely I recommend Kinney without hesitation for an incredible healing experience.

Kinney is not just any Massage Therapist. Yes, he can give you an amazing, feel good, fluffy massage but, if you need help with a specific issue, he provides intuitive body work that will assist in healing and allow you to feel relief.

It is difficult for me to write a review of Kinney’s work for fear I will not do him justice. Put simply, Kinney is an amazing bodyworker/​massage therapist. While I have managed to remain physically active most of my life, I have lived with back pain for many years due to some arthritis and degenerative disc issues. In the past couple of years, my condition worsened to to the point I could not do many of the physical activities I enjoyed and daily life movement was noticeably stiff and painful. At 57 I was starting to feel old and broken. Then I went to see Kinney. After only 3 visits my back pain was significantly reduced.
Kinney does a combination of deep tissue, Heller and orthopedic style bodywork. His sessions last about 1.5 hours, are relaxing and enjoyable. Kinney is an unusual practitioner. When I asked him how long it would take to see some change, he said if I did not see a significant shift in 3 visits I should look for another type of therapy. Bottom line, I feel ten years younger and look forward to a strong and enjoyable future.

Kinney, a massage therapist, solved a problem that doctors, physical therapists and many others couldn’t solve for me for 20 years. I had pain in my hip, down my leg and under my knee cap. I was going to Machu Picchu and had to be able to walk on the mountain to see the site. He did deep work for 3 months and I was able to walk and hike without pain! I consider him a miracle worker.

Kinney is a fabulous, strong healer – not just a massage therapist! Whether I tweak my neck from sleeping badly or have a muscle-​spasm flare-​up (I have compressed vertebrae, and the muscles in my low-​back do awful things to try to protect them), he fixes me up. It generally takes just one visit to set me right.
