After looking through a number of portfolios for professional and casual shots (for my business), Kirsten’s clearly stood out. Working with Kirsten was fabulous! I was in need of some new head shots and lifestyle photos for my business (for my website, etc.) She made me feel completely at ease during the shoot, and she was super accommodating in helping me find the perfect outdoor venue for the lifestyle photos. My 12 year old daughter needed head shots and Kirsten was recommended to us. The whole experience from beginning to end was simply amazing! Kirsten has such a gift in photography that it literally leaves you speechless! It is VERY obvious that she loves what she does! The photos turned out to be absolutely stunning, and I could not believe how many choices we had to choose from. Usually you just hope and pray that you get at least one nice pic, but with Kirsten we had 15 top choices. She is awesome!
kIrsten was so polite, professional and caring. The words my 12 year old daughter shared with me to describe this whole experience were nice, very comfortable and lots of fun. She also said she would love to do it again. I totally agree with her. Kirsten was extremely efficient with her time and the shoot went really smooth.

Right when we walked in, Kirsten made us feel at ease. We were new to this whole thing and my 9 year old daughter was there to get her head shots done. She was so nice, soft spoke, and not snootie or uppity. During the entire time my daughter felt very comfortable with her.
We did check out a few others via recommendations and links. Glad we went to Kirsten. By the way a few of my daughters friends/​classmates from acting school went to Kirsten too.

I cannot say enough good things about Kirsten’s work! I was in need of some new head shots and came across Kirsten on Unilocal.I am so pleased with not only the results, but how the shoot went overall.

A few months ago I was signed by MDT Agency, Inc. to do print modeling, voice-​overs and on-​camera work. It has been such a fun adventure, and I have had some really amazing opportunities arise! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and really knows what she is doing from a technical standpoint as well. Kirsten was amazing. After searching for photographers, I was lucky to have a fellow actor recommend her and I’m so glad she did. I had to do a whole new round of photos for my talent agency and this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a photo shoot. She was easy to work with and went above and beyond what was necessary for a photographer. Her prices were also extremely reasonable. I did five outfit changes. Before the shoot, I sent her pictures of different outfits I had and she looked through them and gave her recommendations. She can also book you a hair and makeup artist for the shoot, which I highly recommend. Sherrie Long worked on my shoot and she was fabulous. Kirsten had the online photo proofs to me within two days and the hard copy CD in less than a week. Not only that, but when I asked for her top favorites (something photographers don’t usually do), she quickly responded to me. The photos came out great. She has a keen eye, her framing, lighting and ability to capture the right mood made it so little post photo editing was needed. Kirsten spent 20 years working in LA with some very famous people. I would highly recommend her to any actor, model, or anyone else for that matter. I’ve already passed her information on to several fellow actors and studios. If I ever need more photos done I will definitely go back to Kirsten.

Kirsten is an absolute rockstar! I just can’t believe how many quality shots she was able to get. She is fantastic at putting people at ease– you feel like you are spending the day with an old friend. She is definitely the photographer I will be using in the next year or two when I’ll need to update my headshots. Now if she only shot weddings… :)

Pretty much can’t say enough about this fantastic lady! Not only her skill as a photographer, but her genuine spirit as well. Everything was easy about this shoot; from first contact, to booking, to arriving at Kirsten’s gorgeous studio. She has EVERYTHING set up: a make-​up table, clothing rack, bathroom, changing station. Great locations nearby to shoot outdoors, or several backdrops in her studio. She was very involved in helping me pick out my wardrobe to match my ‘types’, and she was spot on with every single one. I have noticed an immediate and dramatic upswing in auditions, callbacks, and bookings, leading to words of praise from casting directors and my agent. Kirsten is quite simply the BEST!

I’ve been to several photographers in the Bay Area, and my shoot with Kirsten was, by far, the best. The shoot was easy, efficient, fun, AND, most importantly, I got so many great shots out of it. There was zero ego involved, I felt at ease the entire shoot, and communication with Kirsten is excellent. I will definitely go back to Kirsten when I am ready for new head shots!

I am am a mother of 3. I spend my days in yoga pants, chasing munchkins. This was my first foray into headshots and I felt… petrified. Kirsten set me at ease with her friendly smile and mellow demeanor. Not 24 hours later, the proofs were ready. Every shot amazed me. There is magic in Kirsten’s work.
