Description

Specialties

Little Spoons Café is a classroom and television program where Chef Eric teaches kids how to cook. In a gentle atmosphere of adventure and humor, kids jump into their food experience and learn to carry a sense of choice, confidence, and culinary curiousity into life. Chef Eric also does presentations for schools and businesses as well a limited number of small after-school organic cooking classes for elementary school aged children.

Class Menus include: Desserts, Soups, Salads, Breakfast, and Breads with recipes such as ChickenFennel Salad, Indian Carrot Cake, Crunchy Kale Chips, Mac’n Cheese Bolognaise.

I build confidence via culinary adventure & a broad variety of food to wake up innate wisdom. This is a place to be daring.

I work with seasonal, local, pesticide-free foods and wean children away from refined sugars and processed foods. If your child has ALLERGIES, recipes are prepared to respect safety for all.

History

Established in 2009.

It all started when I mastered the art of flambee-ing crêpes suzettes at my grandmother’s house in France when I was 7 — I wanted to show everyone how easy and rewarding it was… the flames frightened some, but the result calmed everyone.
