So disappointed by my Jasmine milk tea boba. I referred myself to some earlier comments about this place and thought I would try it(apparently better than Sharetea). Well no. First the drink had a weird taste like super artificial and too sweet. Second and the worst, the pearls were literally like so tender it was gross in my mouth. I personally prefer pearls that are chewy just like at Sharetea. Overall it wasn’t good.

Crispy chicken tastes sour. Tastes very different from the chicken I’ve had at other quicklys in the bay. Would not come again

Cheap and convenient(since it’s everywhere), but not the best quality. Not the worst, either, especially with reduced sugar. Tapioca is a bit hit-or-miss.

I like that they offer mango stars. If you just feel like drinking plain tea, this is alright. Not good tea by any means, but it’s decent. They do skimp on toppings, though.

Yeah… so I’m not sure where to begin. I walked into Quickly thinking that I would be able to enjoy a nice Pomegranate Green Tea with Grass Jelly. However, once I received my drink, I noticed that something was extremely wrong with the grass jelly. The grass jelly that I have been accustomed to drinking did not look like what was in the drink. Instead, the grass jelly looked extremely moldy, consisting of shades of white and green in it. I went up to the counter, and I asked the employee if this was okay to drink, and without even examining the drink, he said it was safe to drink. I went back to me seat and asked my friend what she thought of the drink. She told me that the grass jelly did not look right. I decided against consuming the drink. I honestly hope that no one has to experience what I went through. In hindsight, I should have simply gone to ShareTea or Purple Cow to satisfy my Milk Tea craving.

Popcorn chicken was delicious and fresh ! And got a regular milk tea a bit water down but I’ll come back for snacks and try other drinks a try since it’s so cheap: The guy at the front was also friendly and smiling

Just got a hair in my tea. Yuck. Definitely curly and definitely not mine; well how could I get a hair in there anyway? Seriously disappointed as I was so excited to find a boba tea place on the north side. Don’t think I can bring myself to try again.

Another Boba option in Berkeley. Quickly has been in the Bay Area for a while, and now it is at Berkeley. There are innumerable tea and Boba places in Berkeley these days, but this Quickly has the advantage of being the only one on Euclid street. The tea at Quickly is average, probably leaning towards the cheap, artificial side, but they offer enough options to ensure you will find something you like. They also offer a lot more food and snacks than other tea places. Service at this quickly was friendly, but a bit slower than I expected, not that a slightly extended tea/coffee break goes unappreciated… The only tea place on Northside/Euclid street. Come for convenience.

Quickly is where Cal Ramen was. interior seating is mostly gone. outside patio seating yes. standard quickly menu on the left wall. specials on post near cash register. tried an oldie with a twist. drink: jasmine tea(.99) no ice, no sugar –decent jasmine tea taste. –best ever at a quickly’s 3.5 stars drips: –expectations low, cheap ingredients used –skipping the sugar makes a difference.

**100% BOBAPRINCESSAPPROVED** You ever have one of those days where those insane food cravings just kick in like a mad pregnant woman’s insatiable appetite? But you swear you’re not a pregnant lady because(1) you are biologically a man or(2) you definitely still have your v-card the last time you checked with your imaginary boyfriend. Point being: The. Best. Quickly. I’ve been too! Boy, I was craving some major Bubble Milk Tea and Crispy Popcorn Chicken from Quickly! [[LOCATION//AMBIANCE]] I didn’t realize there was a new Quickly on Hearst so originally I opted to go to the Asian Ghetto Quickly. However Berkeley, being the wonderfully insane city it is, had all of its major streets in central downtown BLOCKED from every direction(north, south, east, west) due to some festival or some city event. I literally went around Berkeley trying to find a way to get to Durant Avenue– no !@#$%^ luck. #superpissed Then I decide to head towards Hearst Ave, why not? But nope, the streets were also still blocked. I ended up going down Cedar and turning on Euclid. I was so frustrated but it was all worth it! I parked on an incline and walked a block down. I had no idea what to expect at this new Quickly location. It was located inside a small shopping plaza and had an outside seating arrangement which doubled as an outdoor hallway. You can clearly see the Quickly banner flying outside. [[DRINKS]] This Quickly is smaller than its San Jose counterparts but is way bigger than the Durant Quickly. There are about 3 tables and a bench wall, all decorated with their usual blue/orange scheme. Their menu is ever so extensive with the usual fried snacks. Since they recently had a Grand Opening, there were plenty of special promotions going on. I bought the Bubble Milk Tea Chubby Cup and Jasmine Green Milk Tea regular cup(baseline prices: $ 1.79). They offer 4 cup sizes: Regular, Large, Chubby, and Super. Additionally, I ordered the Popcorn Chicken because I was totes hangry. [[SERVICE]] What really moved me was the SUPERBSERVICE and FRIENDLYPATRONS. My eyes were bigger than my stomach… and wallet apparently. At the moment I had $ 9 on me and forgot tax was included. It was already too late as the cook started to make my popcorn chicken and the female cashier/barista had left and returned with my drinks while I organized my payment. The total was $ 9.88, Christ. I told her that I could run out to my car quickly and grab another $ 1, however there were other customers behind me. At first, the female employee was watching me struggle trying to dig through my purse for change, but finally, she just told me not to worry about a few cents. ALL of the SUDDEN, a hand reaches over my shoulder and a dollar bill was handed to the female cashier. The customer, Shayla, who stood behind me said«Here’s a dollar!» She didn’t hesitate and I literally stood there astounded. Yes Berkeley may be a crazy city with terrible traffic and shady hippie bums everywhere but the people here are genuinely kind. I started to feel my cheeks get super red and embarrassed. «Thank you so much!» I said to her. I offered to pay her back, but Shayla said it was no big deal and that she’s been there before where she was short too. I think the Quickly female employee was also pleasantly surprised. [[FOOD//DRINK QUALITY]] My boba milk tea and snacks tasted that much better. The popcorn chicken was definitely fresh and crispy, not overly breaded or powdered. The signature Quickly milk tea was cool and thirst-quenching! Although I was embarrassed and totally learned my lesson(do not order the chubby cup without extra change), the small, kind gesture by a complete stranger really moved me. I hope to pay it forward =) Thank you! TIPS: + If you’re getting a milk tea special, in the great words of Tom and Donna, TREATYOSELF!!! Get the Large or Chubby! If you’re feeling especially thirsty, get the Super-dee-duper.((Just make sure you have enough change/dollah bills)) + Get a Snack! It’s definitely delicious! Popcorn Chicken by default, hollah! + If you bring a friend, check-in, or like on Facebook, you can get a FREE order of French fries with $ 4 minimum purchase, woot! + Cash ONLY! +They have Reward Stamp Card but it doesn’t work on their specials.

I came into the store at 9:58(it closes at 10pm) and asked for popcorn chicken. The manager was more than willing to make it despite the fact it would take awhile and they’d have to stay open a little past their closing time. While waiting for my chicken, someone came in(past closing time) and they still decided to serve him too. Great service! As for the popcorn chicken, the portion was filling and it was super crispy, unlike other ones I’ve had in Southside. I’ve also had a Thai tea from here which was pretty average. Super clean and spacious too.

Quickly’s & boba made it to Northside! The Northside Asian Ghetto is pretty small so this is a nice addition to those who have suffered without milk tea on this of campus. (/) Jasmine Milk tea.(hot) I feels like it’s watered down, taken that I got it hot instead of cold like usual. I can taste a hint of the tea but the milk is not creamy at all like I would have wanted. Not sure if it’s as good as the Quickly’s on North Side. (/) Curry Fish Ball. There was about 10 pieces in a little box to-go! Not bad at all, just your typical snack like everywhere else. I definitely devoured it way too quickly. The overall atmosphere is definitely nicer than the one on Southside. There’s actually sitting space here! The décor is definitely nicer and the place is way cleaner. Definitely a perfect location and this place stays around to satisfy my boba cravings whenever I’m on Northside!

Boba tea finally comes to Northside! Since this place has a monopoly on boba/bubble tea in North Berkeley, it actually doesn’t matter whether I say it’s good or bad as it’s the only thing you’ve got. I enjoyed the tea portion of my bubble milk tea, but the boba was not great. And one of my friends commented that the boba was puke-inducing, so there’s that. Nevertheless, it’s boba tea on Northside. That alone is worth something. 3 stars.
