Specialties
Structural integration, massage therapy and mindfulness coaching.
History
Established in 2013.
Over the past eight years of work as a massage therapist, an important question began to haunt me.
Q: «How long does the beneficial effects of a great massage truly last?»
A: Probably until the first or second stressful event occurs – when the mind gets tight, so does the nervous system and body. If the massage therapy doesn’t include a mental, emotional healing component, physical peace and relaxation will be short-lived.
Samadhi Bodywork was born out of my passionate desire to provide a psychologically integrated massage experience with long-lasting benefit. What I have learned over time and experience, is that by combining massage with mindfulness meditation – synchronizing body, heart, and mind – clients are able to naturally access and enter profound states of presence, connection, and visionary inspiration.
Samadhi Bodywork is about helping you achieve a deeply integrated experience of peace in your body, joy in your heart, and freedom in your mind.

Business Owner
I’m Adam Abaraz. Over the eight years of my healing career, I’ve worked at three Bay Area Locations: Zazen SF, YogaKula Berkeley, and Namaste Yoga Grandlake.
My massage career began in 2005 at Esalen Institute. In 2007, I received certification in Acupressure/Chinese Medicine at the Berkeley Acupressure Institute. In 2008, I moved to Kauai and completed a 700-hr training in Presence-Centered Structural Integration (based on Rolfing) at The Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork. I have completed a combined 1,000 hours of clinical bodywork training from four massage schools. In 2009, I moved to Boulder and completed my BA Degree in Mind-Body Psychology at Naropa University. I am in my second year of a three-year Somatic-Experiencing (SE) Trauma resolution training. I am also involved in a yearlong counseling program with InterChange Counseling. I am a dedicated mindfulness meditation practitioner. My father is a founding teacher of Spirit Rock.
