Skills DJ Workshop –a little bit more than a record store!
Skills has been pumping out quality electronic music events since 1997. Whether it be a club or a 15,000 plus massive, we guarantee quality world class talent with unbelievable production. Don’t miss the 11th Annual etd POP on Saturday, May 24.
There were so many record shops back in the day representing crews and cities. Trance and Jungle Factory (Skills) was one of the great ones. I loved the design associated with the store, as well as their parties and the flyers for their parties. They had their own style that was recognizable. Speaking of record stores, we also can't forget the other ones from back in the day. Spundae, F8, Amoeba in SF on Haight, Harmonics-Santa Rosa, DrFreeClouds...so many. And I forgot about so many as well. My brains fuzzy after all the years of double-stacked Mitsubishis...lol. RaveOn
I remember going to plenty of parties at HomeBase. I remember one party DjDan absolutely rocked the place-it was magical. One party I remember going to there was a Caffeine Records tour-Micro, X-Dream, James Christian and prob other folks I don't remember. Trance and Jungle Factory/Skills was awesome, you're right-so were the DJs associated with them. Thomas Trouble, Dyloot, DjD, it's been so long I can't remember some of my fav djs from there!
