I love boba bubble milk tea. Every time I try a place for the first time I order the iced black milk tea with boba. Their version is so so. Nothing spectacular or amazing. I wouldn’t come back here for more. There are far more tasty options near campus. This place has drinks(smoothies, boba) and also crepes in one place! It’s a one stop shop if you don’t feel like going to multiple stores. It’s also nearby BART. My friend had one of their sweet crepes and it was pretty huge. She couldn’t finish it so my husband finished it off for her! They both enjoyed the crêpe very much!

I’m never coming here again. I was craving boba and needed to get my fix. My husband and I were running an errand at Games of Berkeley(and he also wanted to get an ice cream cone next door at John’s Ice Cream), so we figured this place was as good as any. There’s a minimum of $ 5 in order to charge, which wasn’t a huge inconvenience. I just had to I back and out to return with cash. I ordered a hit Lavender Milk Tea($ 3.74) Sadly, it was mediocre. The milk tea had a hint of lavender and I was hoping for more than a splash. Additionally, the boba was tasteless and was brittle rather than chewy. I can’t be for certain if it was the lavender milk tea or something else I ate that day but my stomach did not feel well after drinking the milk tea.

I always wanted one of there crapes and finally got to try. Pretty good, found it difficult to eat in the cone shape they give to you but it was fun as a treat

Ordered a regular almond black tea. Could definitely taste the almond powder, but satisfied my craving for something sweet. Cost about $ 4 after tax :/Fairly average overall.

This place serves the best classic flavor milk tea in my opinion. There jasmine milk tea and strawberry milk tea are also one of my favorites. For add ons, I like their egg pudding, lychee jelly, and grass jelly. All three of these have good texture and flavor! For, food, I love their green tea banana crêpe! The texture of the crêpe is simply amazing. Their green tea ice cream combined with bananas has the most awesome flavors ever! The cashiers are always nice and efficient when they take orders.

I stopped by here today because I was craving a milk tea so bad… i decided to support something local and I regret it… I got a milk tea and they gave me the wrong size so when I told them they exchange it. I watched as she poured more powder, water, and syrup to fill up the large cup. When I got to work, I tried the drink, and it tasted like waterrrrrr… sigh, I was very disappointed. My friend also got a crêpe, and it was pretty good. I probably wouldn’t come here again, nor would I recommend it to a friend.

I went there one evening and paid with a $ 5 bill for a strawberry milk tea. I was expecting to receive change, but after standing there for a few moments I realized the cashier was not going to give me it. Being the passive person that I am, I just sat down rather than asking about it… Maybe he just forgot? The tea was rather mediocre. Artificial-tasting and there was a lot of ice in it so I didn’t get much tea for my money. Also, this place often seems to be closed when I walk by during the daytime.

There are better places to get milk tea. Everything here is flavored, so if you’re looking to get a milk tea that tastes like tea, it would be wise to go elsewhere. They had an assortment of lovely white bowls that I thought were filled with ice cream, but they were flavor powders. It’s all right, though — it’s not like other milk tea places don’t have this. They also have a credit card minimum of $ 5, and I saw many people say«never mind» and leave the store when they saw the sign. I guess most people just want to have boba. It also took a while for something that seemed to be pre-made, minus the powders. The lavender milk tea didn’t taste anything like lavender, and the black sugar milk tea didn’t have much of a difference, either. Meh. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll just look for the ShareTea.

This might not be a popular opinion, but I am going to go out on a limb here and declare that Tea Fever is the best place to get smoothies in downtown Berkeley. Why, might you ask? Because you can actually SEE them make your smoothie. You can SEE that it is just real fruit, ice and your choice of milk. And they are a reasonable size, too big of smoothie is a no-no. Reasonably priced, too One thing that’s weird is every time I walk in the employees are doing weird not work things that you feel like you ate interrupting, i.e. eating a sandwich or on the phone. And then they hide it. Whatever though, do you. I suppose their other food looks good, but for me this is purely a smoothie spot.

Was in the neighborhood and was drawn in by the smell of crepes! Small little spot with a good menu selection but I’m pretty plain jane. I was quenching for a black milk tea. Some boba spots makes their drinks too sweet — I hesitate to order especially when they don’t have the option of choosing your level of sweetness. Thankfully, they said they could make it less sweet for me. Drink was fine — nothing impressive. Boba wasn’t as soft or fresh as Cool Tea Bar or Tpumps. It was just ok.

I came here because I was in the area and was craving some milk tea and needed something quick I probabaly wouldn’t come here again because the milk tea was watery and didn’t taste very good at all. They do have a pretty large variety of crepes though, which seems to be what most people were ordering. I would probably order a crêpe next time I’m here, I probabaly wouldn’t come here again since there are so many better crêpe + tea places in this area.

I’ve walked by this place several times while going through Downtown Berkeley. I normally get my boba from ShareTea but it was convenient and I finally decided to give it a try. Disappointment is what I can say. I got the«Lavender» Milk Tea(which tasted like just plain black milk tea) while my friend got the Strawberry Milk Tea w/Red Beans. The lavender tea was plain, nothing special, and I didn’t add any pearls in it. The strawberry one was wayyyy too sweet and tasted a lot like syrup and milk. They both added up to around $ 7 and honestly, the PRICE is NOTWORTH the sub-par QUALITY&QUANTITY. I’d suggest going down to ShareTea instead. They sell for around $ 4.50 for Tea Fever’s Large Size and is MUCH better quality. Bottom Line: Not worth it.

Of the Boba I thought it was tasty, fast and totally un-original. Maybe I should try my usual go to milk teas next time. Those waffles smell GREAT! :)

My all time favorite boba place. I go here weekly. The baristas are super nice and the food is delicious. I usually order a Thai tea with boba. Their crepes are also amazing

I stumble upon this place after watching a movie at the California Theatre. I was in need of a cold drink to quench my thirst. Located right near John’s Ice Cream is this wonderful pearl drinks spot. The place was compact but still had enough space to sit. We ordered black milk tea with pearls and it was refreshingly good. Nice chewy pearls with the right about of black tea with milk. I would recommend coming here if you are in the area. Enjoy and cheers!

Note I’ve never gotten boba here since it’s relatively expensive, but I tried the dessert options here recently and was very pleased! My friend and I split the waffle with nutella and strawberry, and a crêpe with nutella, strawberry, kiwi, whipped cream, and topped with an oreo. I was surprised with how pretty the creation came out, though we unwrapped and dissecting it on a plate for sharing purposes. The crêpe was only ~$ 4 and could serve as a light meal if one was badly craving sugar, and the waffle was cheaper. Nice to know this is a good crêpe place.

Toooooo sweet! And make me feel sick! I have got a half sugar order but it’s still too sweet! Lavender hot milk tea to go and add many nuts by myself. Tolerable but I won’t go there for a second time. Compared to share tea and purplekow, it’s really not so good. :(

The fact that my drink here was so delicious makes this low rating very disappointing. Came here last night after walking past here and deciding on a whim to try it. The menu was very sizable, including a lot of different sweet and savory crepes(a man near the counter was eating a sweet crêpe that looked delicious), but I decided on the magic mocha milk tea with boba, and went with regular sized cup. Not only was the regular cup extremely tiny — I’ve been to a lot of boba places and have never seen a cup this small — but it was jam packed with ice on top of all of the boba. I’m not at all exaggerating here when I say that in the time it took me to walk from Tea Fever to Crossroads a couple of blocks away, I had already finished my drink. Perhaps the cheapest, stingiest boba experience of my life, with unpleasant service from the guy at the counter, to boot. A real shame considering how delicious the mocha milk tea was. And cash only here too. Very annoying.

It’s a low four… They satisfied my sugar craving and have crepes. Boba drinks: Thai tea was weak… Boba was very soft and bland. Crêpe: I don’t know how hard it is to mess up a crêpe, but they did ok. They put whipped cream in the crêpe. Overall tasty. I’ve only tried the Nutella strawberry banana. Overall: They have lots of options. Milk tea, smoothies, juicy teas, sweet crepes, savory crepes, waffles. It’s ok if you’re in the area.
