History

Established in 1985.

I trained as a certified teacher of the F.M. Alexander Technique. My certification was through S.T.A.T. in London, England, and AmSAT in the U.S. I completed a three year 1600 hour training program in 1985 and have been teaching privately ever since.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jerry has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1985. He has maintained a private practice for the past 25 years, as well as running a teacher training course for 7 of those years. He is the former Chairman of the American Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AmSAT), and certified by AmSAT and STAT (the British Society of Teachers.) Jerry also runs a small publishing company, focusing on different aspects of the Alexander Technique. Jerry’s Alexander Technique lessons are 45 minutes long and cost $ 55.00.

Jerry came to the Technique through dance and athletics. The challenge of finding the most efficient way of moving and thinking in performance has always fascinated him. He continues to play competitive tennis.
