History

Established in 2011.

West Berkeley Wellness was established by Aimee Wells Quin, whose intention was to create a tranquil getaway where patients could retreat from life’s stresses and receive expert, compassionate health care. Many of our patients comment that as soon as they walk through the door, they feel more relaxed and supported. At West Berkeley Wellness we take great care to excel at our work and foster a sense of ease for our patients.

Business Owner

Aimee Wells Quin, M.S., L.Ac., the founder of West Berkeley Wellness, is a licensed acupuncturist and clinical herbalist with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from ACTCM, one of the leading Chinese medical schools in the country. She has been a licensed health care practitioner since 1998 and has been serving Bay Area residents since 1999. Her deep commitment to providing the very best for patients fuels her habit of constantly attending continuing education courses and expanding her knowledge base.

After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Pre-Medicine at UC Davis, she completed 1200 hours of training in therapeutic massage. Soon after, she completed her doula training. Last year, she studied internal medicine and gynecology at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.

Aimee extends many thanks to her mentor Dr. Bob Levine, with whom she closely apprenticed for four years and who so generously shares his vast knowledge and experience.
