I love Dr. Black! Met him through a family member who had used him as a volunteer dentist through a charity program. They were raving not only about the quality of his work, but also about how gentle and kind he was, despite not getting paid for his work. I have been going to him for a number of years now, and have always been impressed with both his talent and his patient manner. Two words: painless shots. Well, almost, but as close as you can get. His hygienists and office staff are equally excellent– the entire experience, from actual dental services to billing/payment/insurance is extremely pleasant. I drive from Commerce/West Bloomfield to Berkley to see him and recommend him to all my friends.

Absolutely wonderful person and better dentist. He does a lot of volunteer dentistry for underpriviledged people. I highly recommend him if you live in the Metro-Detoit area, and especially if you are close to Berkley.
He has been providing excellent dentistry for almost 30 years!
