History

Established in 2011.

Both Paws Pet Care was established after the owner graduated from Becker College with her degree in Animal Care. The business is geared toward pets that thrive in the comfort of their own home while the owner is away, rather than staying at a boarding facility. The owner’s dog Bailey was the inspiration for the business, as she has separation anxiety and does better when she is cared for at home, as many pets do.

Both Paws Pet Care is owned and operated by myself, Kristen Santospago. Growing up on a farm, I have been around animals my whole life. I graduated from Becker College with an Associates Degree in Animal Care. While working at a pet boarding facility, I became Pet First Aid and CPR certified as well as Pet Care Technician certified. While working at a vet clinic, I saw every illness and injury you could think of, which made me experienced in recognizing symptoms and warning signs in dogs, cats and other small animals. My love for animals has carried over into my business and I treat all my clients’ pets as though they were my own.
