We pull permits for all of our installs and do the Title 24 reporting with a state H.E.R.S inspector who retests all our work to certify that the area is as efficient as possible. We also install carbon monoxide detectors for all of our new installs too. So if its quality and honesty you are looking for, give us a call. History

Established in 1979.

I started this company in 1979 to try and support my family. Now my wife is the CFO and my son is the Vice President with my daughter as the dispatcher. The rest of the employees we treat like family, we do many company outings like Carnival Cruises, fishing trips, concerts and bar bq’s but always to have a good time and their families are also part of the fun. We try to be a repair company rather than to condemn units for the profit. If you are interested in a more efficient systems, we offer to install new higher efficient systems from 14 seer up to 23 seer and show you how much you can save on your utility bills through out year. Just ask!

Once again… they are amazing. I’ve lived in Palm Springs for 50+ years and have used many different AC services so I know what I’m talking about. The guys are superb. Nice on the phone, (I’m a stickler for good customer service skills!) good scheduling, responsive, honest, friendly and skilled — and they fixed it for a great price! I was worried that we would need a new unit and it was repaired quickly, explained thoroughly and charged a reasonable and fair price. So glad that we have discovered them and I will recommend them any time with confidence. Tony was our service person and we could not be more pleased as it will reach 120 in a few days! Whew! What a relief.

We have called upon «Best in the West» many times and have always been very satisfied with their service and expertise. Their office staff is always very friendly and their technicians are well trained in handling any problem they may detect with either your furnace or air conditioner. Plus, if they do detect a problem, they take the time to fully explain what needs to be done to solve it. The cost for their services is very reasonable. I highly recommend «Best in the West» for all your furnace and air conditioning needs.

I am completely satisfied with the service call to check and repair the A/​C units in my Rancho Mirage vacation home. They showed up on time, inspected, explained the problem and fixed the unit. When I called a few days later with questions about a bedroom that didn’t seem to be cooling properly, they sent a technician out to check the ducting just to be sure the hot bedroom was not caused by a problem with the duct. I expected to pay for a service call but they said no charge. These people truly care about their customers and I love that it is family run! I will be calling them for annual inspections and maintenance!

Awesome Company! They saved us from spending an obscene amount of money on a new HVAC system. One of our systems was blowing hot air so we called a company in for a quote. They quoted $ 650 for a temporary fix and recommeneded we replace the system for $ 6000!!! We wanted a second opinion and called Best In The West. The customer service was fantastic and they sent the owner himself to meet with my husband. He was able to fix the
AC unit for $ 150. My husband was very pleased with the work and I am happy that we weren’t tricked out of a lot of money. Best in the West will be our go-​to from HVAC company from now on :)

Best in the West installed my HVAC system in 2013.
I have a rental property, and, tonight the system stopped working. Tenants called, and, were concerned for good reason, it was 90 degrees in the house.
I called the 24⁄7 tech line with Best in the West… and, Dan was out to the property within an hour, and just left at 11:00pm on a Saturday night… the AC is again working and the tenants are happy.
I was charged for the service call, of course, but the part was under warranty, so, it could have been a lot worse.
I certainly recommend Best in the West for HVAC installs and repair.

Best in the West is so dedicated to their customers!!! My a/​c unit just stopped working out of nowhere last August, when it was still 100 degrees in the evenings. I called their emergency line and they had a technician out to us with in a couple of hours. Even though my husband and I had to hold up flashlights for the technician, he was able to fix us up with very low cost to us. Call them when you get HOTTTT!!!

I had another co out & service our fairly new (2−3yrs) air cond. They told us we needed $ 3065 in repairs and wrote it up. I called Best in the West for a 2nd price. After examining our system they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! What an honest company! The technician (Mike) was very knowledgeable and professional. I will never use another company again. I highly recommend Best in the West.

I can’t recommend this company enough! After another company came by and told us within a few minutes that we need a completely new AC unit, I am so glad that we called for a second opinion. Dan, technician who came by, is a super star! He took his time diagnosing a problem and told us that our AC can be fixed by replacing condenser fan motor. Within an hour our problem was fixed and we didn’t have to spend $ 4000.00 to get a new unit (what was suggested by another company).
Also Dan fixed a few other things around our place that we tried fixing before with no avail. The noise in our A/​C vent was so loud since we moved in and nobody can figure out why. Dan was the only one that was able to fix it. He also changed our air filters and made another suggestion to improve airflow by adjusting AC registers. If you have older AC registers in your place, ask him to show you his trick to improve airflow — you won’t regret it.
I am not sure if this is a rule but our AC seem to always break down on Saturday night… I am so happy that we were able to fix our problem first thing Sunday morning and enjoy the rest of our weekend.
If you have trouble with your AC unit and need an honest opinion and accurate
cost, I can’t recommend this company enough! Also ask for Dan!

I have a home warranty policy that I have used a few times and the service people that have been sent out by them were not the most knowledgeable. Until They sent me Dan from BIW ! He did an amazing job and also was very personable even though he was working in high temps and some messy locations.
