Ground Source HVAC is a Geothermal Heat Pump company. We have been in the home energy conservation business for over 35 years and the Geothermal business for six years. We have been having great success in reducing the heating and air conditioning cost in our customers homes by reducing the demand (weatherization) before we size the system. We believe so strongly in this approach that we offer a free energy audit with a signed contract.
History
Established in 1975.
Ground Source HVAC started as Don Hull Construction in 1975. At that time we specialized in projects to save energy, such as passive solar and wood stoves. Six years ago oil hit $ 4.00 a gal. and we determined that at that price geothermal heat pumps would be viable. The price of oil has come down since then, but with the 30% tax credit, the PECO grant and the low interest loan from Keystone Help geo is still viable at this time. We take great pride in combining our weatherization skills and our HVAC skills to achieve heating and air conditioning costs by over 50%. Our goal is to provide the best energy reduction value to our customers.

Business Owner
I got into construction when I took a job with a roofing and siding company. I noticed that new siding was a great opportunity to add insulation. From this moment on I have had a passion for home energy conservation. I get great satisfaction leaving a home with a lower carbon foot print. It wasn’t long before I decided to start Don Hull Construction to specialize in energy conserving projects. Six years ago I found Ground Source Heat Pumps to be viable and brought a skilled HVAC technician into the company and started Ground Source HVAC. Combining his skills and mine turned out to be a prefect match and we have enjoyed great success in saving heating and air conditioning costs.
