Our practice specializes in all aspects of dentistry including preventive dentistry, oral cancer screenings, implants, Lumineer veneers, Invisalign teeth straightening, teeth whitening, Cerec one-​visit porcelain restorations, crown and bridgework, restorative fillings, removable partials and dentures, root canal treatment, and oral surgery.

More importantly, however, we specialize in treating our patients with the utmost care and compassion. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality of dental treatment with the greatest care and personal attention assuring our patients ideal function, comfort and satisfaction.

History

Established in 1954.

The son of a dentist, Dr. Jim grew up in the practice his father, Dr. Joseph Discipio, opened in 1954, right down the block from where the practice is now. J.V. Discipio & Associates Ltd. reopened at the current location, 6737 Stanley Ave, Berwyn, in 1956, and they have been there ever since.

Business Owner

Dr. James L. Discipio received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1984 and his Master of Science Degree in 1985. Included among his professional memberships are the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Discipio continually keeps abreast of current methodologies in dentistry and has completed post-​graduate Continuums I-​IV at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, the Implants Institute by Hiossen, and Scottsdale Institute for Cerec Education Continuums I-​III. In addition to his full time dental practice, Dr. Jim is currently president of the Village of LaGrange Park.

Dr. Jim and his wife, Nancy, have three children, Nicholas, Jake and Jenna Darlene. His dedication to family, continuing education and excellence in dentistry has contributed to his growing list of loyal patients.
