At Main Line Test Prep and Tutoring, we have been tutoring children, teenagers and adults in various subjects and standardized test prep for over 15 years. We have helped students of varying skill levels (from grade school children to Rhodes Scholars) sharply boost their test scores. Our tutors are patient and make learning fun. Most importantly, we instill confidence in our students by making tough concepts easy to understand and apply.
How can you be sure your tutor knows what he is teaching if he hasn’t taken the test in decades? We don’t just teach the SAT, we take the SAT too!
Our founder, Steve has a perfect super score of 2400 over 2 SATs (January 2013 — Reading 800, Math 700, Writing 750 and March 2014 — Reading 750, Math 800, Writing 800).
Steve also took the September 2013 ACT, scoring in the 99th percentile with a score of 34. He also scored in the 99th percentile on all four sections (35 writing, 34 math, 35 reading, 33 science).
History
Established in 1997.
Our founder, Steve, has been tutoring standardized tests since the 1990s. He was a top GMAT/SAT/ACT tutor at the Princeton Review of Japan when he lived in Tokyo, Since 2006, Steve has been one of the highest rated GMAT instructors and tutors for Veritas Prep.

Business Owner
Steve Odabashian has a B.A.in economics from the University of Virginia, and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
Steve has been tutoring test prep since 1997. He started with the GMAT, SAT and TOEFL in Japan. He has helped hundreds of students improve by hundreds of points. He has been tutoring math since the age of 11! (Steve finished his 8th grade math book early in the 6th grade, and his school put him to work tutoring the 3rd graders!)
Steve teaches and tutors students from around the world. He has tutored and taught in locations as exotic as Japan, France and Hong Kong. He has also tutored all over the USA.
Steve enjoys playing piano and this often lands him in the local press and on TV. Steve also made a spirited run for Philadelphia City Council in 2011, and was one of 2 candidates (out of 9) to pick up primary election endorsements from Philadelphia’s 3 largest papers.
Steve lives in Berwyn with his wife Maggie and 1-year old son, Arthur.
