When the local business chamber posted on Facebook about a new glass art /​smoke shop in town I knew I had to check it out.
I’m old and uncool enough to only know the function of about 30% of the stuff in the store but all of it is 100% awesome and 100% no-​BS actual art. Most of it made by talented local/​regional people.
This ain’t no grungy dive either. The glass pieces can range in price up to $ 800 bucks. A MFA exhibit in Boston made me a fan of blown glass art a long time ago. The pieces on display and for sale here are pretty amazing if occasionally incomprehensible. My favorite stuff was made by David Colton but the shop showcases a number of different glass artists.
The shop also sells smoking accessories including stuff for vaping, oils and concentrates. It’s maybe 80% high-​end glass pieces and 20% smoke shop. Very interesting mix and a nice owner to boot.
