Euro Motorcars Bethesda

I bought my Mercedes from Euromotors a few years ago and have taken it in for regular service as needed. I needed some body work done recently and that experience ended my positive attitude toward this place. The repair was about $ 3,000 so not tiny and not major. I made an appointment and dropped off the car at the set time on November 30. Fast foward, I got the car back on January 6. And here’s what happened in between. The body shop people were terrific when they finally got the car, but the main location people actually «lost» my car for 10 days. I have no idea what happened to it, but they didn’t get it to the body shop and didn’t exactly know where it was when I called 10 days after dropping it off. Then the repair took three weeks, in part because of the holidays, and the completion date kept getting pushed out. And then my car was stolen from the dealership! It was immediately retrieved by the police, but that didn’t help me much when I was awakened by the police at 4 am and now I have to go to court. The thieves had access to my name and address from the registration documents in the glove compartment. And a relatively minor repair took 6 weeks. The dealership had my car detailed as an apology and that’s it. I will never go there again.

This used to be a quality place but it has since delclined. I have 2 dealerships near my house yet i travel almost 30 miles here. No more!
Im in the waiting room right now waiting for my car to come out for my C and D service. I purchased my car here about 6 years ago.
I heard about a year ago that the Euro dealerships had been purchased and they were laying people off left and right. 2 of my service guys left in 2 years and I see and feel the difference. It felt like a mom and pop dealership in the past now it feels like just a dealership. People I know always criticize me for bringing my car way out here when I could take it closer to arlington or alexandria but I said «they always take care of me in bethesda» but not anymore.
Today I was told I had to pay to replace a defective part that was replaced 3 years ago. The part was defective and the new an improved part is now double. If a part was defective from the beginning the dealership should pay for it to be replaced not me-​it was defective! I know what I drive and its going to cost a little more than most cars but I do expect them to stand by their parts, service and most of all customers.
It was good while it lasted.

Uh no purchases made here as of yet.
However, each time I come here, I do witness customers who are buying & driving off, always so jovial for being extended great customer service. Heck for the «sticker price» they should be!
Now, I have referred a few friends to James Griffith, who is the mastermind behind EM and their sales and service. Not one person has been disappointed, and the people that I haven’t referred who have dealt with JG on their own, always sings high praises.
Even when I am window shopping, I get the pleasure of being greeted by the VP, President, Business Manager or the happy go lucky Salesmen on any given day.
The showroom is always immaculate, regardless the title of a passing employee, they are always friendly and communicative. They’ll offer anything that doesn’t consist of key fob, i.e. water, coffee or tea.
I really do enjoy watching customers who have just experienced their luxury purchase and the giddiness they exude on the way out to their brand new shiny new ride.
& listen, for the pre-​owned connoisseurs such as myself, (I have only bought 2 brand new cars out of 8 in my lifetime), as my opinion, it’s so much worth it in the long run… the inventory of the barely used vehicles of vast manufacturers aside from Mercedes Benz, is enormous. There was a Fiat parked next to a Rolls Royce… go figure.
For the extreme dollar amount for these vehicles, it’s cool to witness the salesmen being genuinely interactive with their potentials customers, whether they are buying or eyeing.
When I’m ready for that GL, I’m definitely coming to see James G. He’ such a humble, know’s his stuff, laid back type of Manager/​Sales Guru. His phenomenal customer relations and continuous follow up, makes you want to give all your hard earned money and then some away for that special luxury vehicle of your preference.

There is no level below 1 star. Very poor communication, sales person would not even return emails to refuse my offer or just tell me that the car is sold. Short answers, behave as hard to get, very arrogant, they think they are selling Rolls Royce but they need to face reality. Hope others learn from this.

Excellent experience from soup to nuts. I live in California but had done a ton of research online looking for a very specifically configured Mercedes SUV that happened to be available at Euro Motorcars. I reached out and spoke with Charlie Ellis in Sales, who could not have been more personable, professional, efficient, transparent and direct in his communication. He provided me with the information I needed, we came to a verbal deal within a day on the phone, and within a matter of a few days, had consummated the transaction and even arranged the shipping of the car to California. He and his finance department even helped me with tips on selling my existing car here in California. This could have been a very prolonged and slow transaction but because of Charlie’s attention and focus and great work style, the car made it here to California about 10 – 12 days after the first phone call I ever had with Charlie.
I should also mention that despite some shenanigans that the shipping broker pulled, Charlie remained calm and always looked out for my interests in the car. I would not hesitate to buy another car and would recommend that anyone else do the same — you will not be disappointed. Shoot straight with Charlie and he will do the same with you.

My first visit to EuroMotor Cars, Bethesda. Met with Ron Bouchard, who was highly recommended by a good friend. What I didn’t expect was the fantastic customer service Ron provided. During our conversation, Ron listened to my concerns which made the experience comforting. As a single, woman who hadn’t dealt with the stress of buying a car for 15 years because my previous car was paid-​off, I could not have asked for a better experience.
Thanks Ron for going above and beyond the call of service. I will definitely return to Euro Motor Cars and only deal with Ron for the next car.

I have been here several times in the last few months. I am very impressed by this dealership. I have had encounters with the sales, service and parts departments, and everyone was courteous, professional and friendly. No reason for me to ever go back to Tysons for any reason.

Recently just purchased a used car I found online from Euro Motorcars. This was definitely a new and adventurous experience for me since I have never bought a car at a dealership in person nor online. Mohammed Ahmed provided excellent customer service and assisted me with my pre-​owned vehicle purchase. He was always very responsive whenever there was an update or when I had questions or needed pictures of the car. The buying process couldn’t have been smoother and their professionalism is A+++.
I would be happy to return to them in the future for my next purchase or lease. Thanks again!

I had a great experience at this location. I live and work in Tysons area, so the Mercedes dealership in Tysons is obviously much more convenient for me. That should speak for itself that I go so far out of my way to make it to Bethesda to get my car serviced. I was in the stages of looking and not really ready to buy. I found the car I was interested in online and came to euro motor cars to take a look. I walked into the front door and was greeted by a smiling, friendly front desk receptionist. She introduced me to Eric Scott. He was more than happy to show me the car even though I told him I just want to see it and maybe take it for a test drive. He took me out to show me the car and we took it for a spin. I fell in love with this car at first sight. It’s beautiful. Being that the car was in such high demand at the time they were not able to lower the asking price. I had to have this car right then, I didn’t want to wait. So I told him I was interested. He brought over the manager of the store who was very friendly as well and we negotiated a bit. Because of the make and model of the car, people were buying them and shipping them out of the country so I had to go through what felt was like an interview. It was a little awkward as I have never had that happen before. Usually I’ m the one interviewing, making sure this is the right car at the right price and the right dealership for me. Even going through that I still felt very comfortable and in good hands. In the end I got the car of my dreams and I still make it to Euro Motor cars for service. I took my car in for her check up a couple days ago and once again I was greeted with everyone waving and saying hello as if they knew me. I wasn’t able t wait or my car so they had loaner car waiting for me. The loaner car was brand new, it only had a little over 600 miles. My car was ready when promised. My service advisor Greg Chery called me throughout the day to give me updates and make sure I had no further issues that I may have forgot to mention. Also on Thursdays they give free manicures to customers. So while you wait for your car you can get a manicure. I’ve never heard of something like that before but very cool! I absolutely recommend Euro Motor Cars to anyone interested in buying a new or used Mercedes Benz. I know I will buy my next Mercedes form them.

I would give this place a one-​star rating, but instead settled on two because they are fine if you take your vehicle there for service.
But when it comes to customer service in regards to looking at new cars this place is thee worst. I’ve been multiple times now with my husband to look at some new models and without fail, every single time (3), no one approaches us. We have literally walked through the showroom with salesmen sitting right there or talking to each other and they still refuse to engage. At the end of the day, I’ll continue to go out of my way to VA to the dealer there to get our next Mercedes. This place doesn’t deserve my cash if they deem that I’m not important enough to approach and greet.

Never go to sell your cars it’s a complete SCAM!!! I’ve met with this dealer RON BOUCHARD and he claimed the car I had was an ‘accident’ car although the accident does not appear on any records.
He gave me an offer which is $ 2,000 lower than the instant cash offer.
I brought a car to another dealer and told me there is no accident, he would do it with the exact amount of money instant cash offer gave me.
I repeat RON BOUCHARD, the dealer who is in this store is complete SCAM never go to this dealer!!!

I worked with Ethan Shah through a referral from a friend and am very pleased with my experience. We knew what we wanted, a 2015 GLK Bluetec 4Matic with Premium/​Multimedia/​Harman Kardon/​Ash Black-​Black interior and the Bi-​Xenon Lighting Package. Before being introduced to Ethan, we had worked with American Service Center (ASC) in Arlington and was told by the salesperson that the car we wanted could not be found (last model year of the GLK and a special order was not an option). The ASC salesperson kept pushing aftermarket components (at an additional charge and not genuine Mercedes OEM), to try and force a sale of a car that did not meet our needs. When I pushed back that his recommendations were not going to work, I never heard another word from him which was disappointing. After my referral to Ethan, within a day, he had found the perfect car for us that was available at a Mercedes Benz dealership in Texas. Within a few days, the car was delivered to Euro Motorcars and we were the proud owners of the perfect mid-​size SUV that met all of our must-​haves even down to the color scheme. Ethan is professional, courteous, and just a downright good guy — within an hour of meeting him, I felt like we were old pals. If you are looking for a Mercedes Benz, at a fair price, without pressure tactics, visit Euro Motorcars and ask for Ethan. I have bought several cars in my lifetime and this experience was by far the best.

I was very disappointed with the level of service I received from sales representative Ethan. I spoke with him on the phone yesterday inquiring on a specific car, which he told me would be arriving within a couple days. I told him my boyfriend and I would like to place a deposit on it and get the financing going. He asked me to have my boyfriend call him, which he did the next morning only to find out that the car had already arrived AND been purchased. When inquiring if they would be getting another one in soon, Ethan curtly told me no. I would have appreciated a call from Ethan letting me know the car was available so we could have placed the deposit immediately. I ALSO would have appreciated a professional and courteous manner on the phone. I understand that sales move quickly, but professionalism is a must. If you’re using this dealership and get Ethan, ask for someone else.

So I was in the market for my first luxury class vehicle and did some online shopping looking at various makers including Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Infiniti. I was curious in driving the CLA because of it’s unique design and I submitted my information and got a phone call and email from Ethan Shaw. He offered to show me around Euro Motorcar and I ended up spending over 6 hours at the store test driving used and new models and looked at different options and packages and prices. Ethan and his team was very generous and patient and walked me through the entire process and answered all my questions. They also have a fantastic facility with a great service center. I ended up buying a new 2015 Mercedes Benz CLA with all the upgrades that I wanted and within my price range. They offer loaner cars if you take your car in for a repair. In my case, where I needed a ride to pick up my new Benz, Ethan offered to pick me up from my place and drive me directly to Euro Motorcar. What great service! I recommend Euro Motorcars for a great luxury car buying experience.

Dad bought a Mercedes SUV from this shop in 2000 or 2001. We used it until 2013. He traded it in for a Subaru Forester and got like $ 1000 in credit. It started being too hard to maintain. It wouldn’t start sometimes. Mercedes is not dependable… starts being expensive to maintain. The interior is nice though and much nicer than Toyotas and Subarus. Mercedes is a popular luxury car. I enjoy sitting in them. Sometimes people keep them for a very long time.

Love this place! I am always here and the staff is super friendly, energetic, helpful and always there when you need them. I live 30 miles away and have a Mercedes 3 miles away from my home but I always come here because of the hospitality. They have a great selection, and even if they don’t have what you want, they WILL do everything they can to get you it.
Love this place and I recommend it to everyone. If you are looking for a car, stop and see Rabi (pronounced Robbie), best guy EVER!!!

I have owned a Mercedes Benz for over 8 years and I have serviced it in only two places Tysons and Bethesda. I had a pretty good experience thus far with this particular dealership.
My Service Advisor, Dennis Shrewsberry, is absolutely why I will keep coming back to this location. He is very knowledgable, professional, and hospitable. He gives me great advice on how to maintain my vehicle in great shape and he never gets too pushy about repairs that don’t need to be taken care of right away like some other dealership scum bags I’ve dealt with.
If you love your Benz take it to this place to get serviced and make sure you ask for Dennis, he’s the man.

Good customer service. Always get a Mercedes loaner car. They don’t always fix everything the first time. Can get annoying. Other than that everything is good.

This dealership SUCKS!!! They are not really taking care of their customers. Ok maybe if you buy a car in the amount of $ 100,000, they may pay attention to you. I only buy a car less than the amount of $ 40,000, and I want to do the financing.
If you are under the same situation like me, then you have to do something, or you may never get your car! Even if you call them and email them, usually they will respond back at the end of the day, and this is based on you call them several times a day. The only way to make the whole process going through faster is to go there and ask them face to face! And this may take you more than a week, to go there every day after work, just want to get answers for status! No matter how far away you live from Bethesda, and how bad the weather is.
After I spent several days with these guys doing financing, I decided to pay cash to make everything easier, since I just want to get my car ASAP. And then the so called management team said they could not offer me the car, because they only sell cars to US Citizens and Diplomatist. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And the person said it is the rule from Benz. Oh really? Then why I got my Benz car today from another great Benz dealer?
So I paid down payment on Sunday, nobody in this dealership saying anything that they could not sell the car to me because I’m not a US Citizen (they knew that from the first day I am not a US Citizen). And I spent a week to drive there everyday after work to follow up with them. And was told they could not sell the car to me because I’m not a US Citizen after I decided to pay cash? And saying this rule is from Benz? I called Benz customer service asking for this rule, and the representative said he never heard about that. I gave him the responsible person’s name, everything is under investigation. I’m so pissed off by the discrimination reason for not selling me the car.
I saw many previous review saying if they get a better deal, they will refuse to sell the car to you and give back your down payment.
Just stay away from this dealership, unless you have tons of money and tons of time to play around with them.
