Let me just start by saying, AHHFRESH! Everything from the steak to the chicken was prepared perfectly. The chicken quesadilla is my favorite. It’s filled from corner to corner and it’s not super heavy like other places. Highly recommend sitting in, you gotta try the hot sauce on the table TASTY!

I’ve driven by this place too many times to count but randomly stopped in this weekend with family. Let me just say that my 4 years living in Bethlehem would have been far more delicious had I known about this place. The food is AMAZING, authentic, fresh, extremely affordable… the staff is great and setting is casual. Hands down this is my new go-to place for Mexican. Plus, it’s BYOB soooo this place is a little slice of heaven. Go, you’ll be happy you did!

Good authentic Mexican in a modest cramped setting. Wait staff was friendly. The chips were average, but what do you want for free. They have several mole choices, but I did not try any of them on this first visit. The tres leches and flan looked good, but we did not partake. This is more suitable for lunch, and the rating is actually 3 ½, but I am giving them a 4 rating based upon the quality and taste of the food we ordered. Their tomatillo, burnt pepper flavored salsa, & verde were chilled and served out of plastic condiment containers, but they had excellent flavor.

Absolutely phenomenal. I spent the last 4 years in Los Angeles where I became absolutely addicted to the authentic Mexican food served everywhere. So when I moved to PA, I knew it’d be hard to find it again. I tried a restaurant down the street which was as Mexican as Taco Bell. I stumbled on this place because my boyfriend and I were both craving Mexican. We decided to try it out. The place is tiny, only has 6 – 7 tables but thankfully it wasn’t too busy when we came in. Staff was super friendly and attentive. You can see right into the kitchen which looked well taken care of. Food was outstanding. Tacos were bigger than I expected(I was expecting the LA street taco size, these were much bigger) so I ended up taking some home. Boyfriend had no complaints about his quesadilla which was also bigger than expected and he couldn’t finish it. It was very inexpensive for the amount of food we got and definitely somewhere I’ll be going back to again and again.

Decent, good food and very friendly service. I would go here again in a heartbeat. I enjoyed the burrito greatly. The steak and chicken tacos were a feast for my eyes, light on my wallet, but just OK in my mouth. I think I ran into a situation here where I read so many 4 and 5 star reviews here I was expecting more. This was good and there were some authentic things I had that I never did before(the nachos soaked in broth), but my socks are still in my feet Go. You will like it.

What a great last minute decision!!! A gem amongst the restaurants here in Bethlehem. Authentic Mexican cuisine!!! Very well done, flavorful, happy employees, and quick service. Just an overall good experience. The atmosphere is plain, nothing exciting. Definitely a stop if you’re craving Mexican. ENJOY!!!

My go to takeout spot in the Valley! El Paisano checks every box for me. Small, unassuming building(not quite a hole in the wall, a little too nice for that, and I love holes in the wall). Cheap, fresh, authentic food made to order each and everytime. BYO. Mexican futbol on the television. I haven’t found better Mexican anywhere in the LV. Tacos(try the salty beef), huaraches(I prefer mine with chorizo), burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, guacamole etc. Each and everything I’ve had has been great each and every time. And have I mentioned that everyone that I’ve encountered working there has been extremely friendly and helpful? It has to be a family operation. Lastly, when your checking out, look to your right. There is a fridge with flan and tres leches cake. When I asked if they were homemade, the answer was«everyday.» Forget about your diet, do yourself a favor, and get one of each.

Nestled in a very unassuming locality in Bethlehem, El Paisano represents Mexican cuisine with authenticity, warmth and a good depth of flavors. They serve the usual Mexican fares, tacos, sopes, Burritos, Enchiladas etc along with a few additions of their own. Their meat is well cooked, but does lack in flavor. Where they lack in flavor of meat and sauces, they make it up with their homemade sauces. Their home made hot sauce is absolutely sensational. I wish they would sell them! So just add on their sauce if the flavor seems blandish. Very authentic food and good portion sizes. Their tacos remind me of Mexico, with a mild hint of pineapple which is a common trademark of tacos in mexico. I love their pork cooked in a spicy red sauce(I apologize for forgetting the name). That with a splash of their sauce is just dynamite. Their gorditas are also delicious. Good depth of flavors and very fresh. Worth trying? Absolutely!

I love this place. Great flavors and the different hot sauces are the best. The chorizo tacos and cheese gorditas are my favorite dishes there. The best part I live close enough to walk there. I heard the pork tortas are great as well.

I grew up in Los Angeles where the Mexican food is awesome. I never thought I would find a place even close here in the Valley, but once again, I find that I am wrong. This place is soooo good! If you want real authentic Mexican food, go here. They keep it simple and delicious. I got enchiladas here and was not disappointed. Try something other than On the Border for once people! This place rocks!

Authentic Mexican food that was delicious. Small little place nothing fancy but the food spoke for itself. Would definitely go again or take out. I just wish the air conditioning was working when we were there. Maybe that just added to the ambiance. I also want to take their queso hot sauce home with me.

Favorite mexican food in lehigh valley(so far). Had the tacos and a chicken gordita. Love places where you can try several different items. Had the chicken tinga, carnitas, and chorizo in the tacos. Everything tasted fresh and excellent. Will be back. Very inexpensive so no reason to avoid giving this place a try. Love when you have a selection of sauces, in this case salsas.

A Mexican gem! My BF and I love ordering takeout from here. He loves the chicken tacos and potato flautas. Yum! I really enjoy the huaraches sin carnes with the nopales and their gorditas. Get the guacamole too. Sooo tasty! Prices are very reasonable! Service is always friendly and they do offer a few small tables for dining in. We’ll be back!

Doesn’t look like much from the outside(or the inside for that matter) but the food and service are excellent. My meal was $ 9 and came with chille relleno, salad, tortilla rice and beans in addition to free chips and salsa. The food was delicious and authentic and it came out in less than 5 minutes. The young woman working there was really nice and checked on me often. If I lived around here, this would be a regular spot. Definitely recommend!

The tacos here are very authentic and full of flavor. The place though is in a house that was made room look like a restaurant but don’t worry about the décor because the food really is great. Carnitas is very well seasoned and kind of sweet. The Tinga which is Chipotle chicken was amazing but beware because it is also very spicy. Overall when in this part of PA and looking for tacos this is it
