In college(at Lehigh) we frequented Ginny’s on Saturday or Sunday mornings for our micro-glass(teeny cute little plastic tumbler) of OJ and a cheap, greasy breakfast. Omelettes, eggs, and breakfast fare are whipped up in a jiffy to the hungry masses. Back in the day(mid-nineties) there was even a wait for tables during peak times. Sassy«career» waitresses who call you ‘hon or doll are part of the show. Pee before you go — the bathroom needs a serious overhaul.

Ginny’s is great when you want a simple, good breakfast and don’t feel like cooking. They have a regular diner breakfast menu with lots to choose from. Most omelettes cost between $ 4 – 5. The food isn’t anything over the top as far as creativity, but it’s good and inexpensive. Occasionally you may have to wait for a table at the busiest times(like 11am on a Sunday), but most of the time you get seated right away. The servers are SO friendly and never let your coffee run out. It’s got a simple, small town feel, but I mean that in the best of ways.

We went there for breakfast a couple times… very standard diner menu, food, and service. There’s nicer places for the same cost, but this is an okay alternative if you want to try somewhere different for the sake of switching it up.
