Business Owner

Dr. Alan Khadavi is an experienced allergist. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook, graduating magna cum laude. He was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He then graduated from medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn.

Dr. Khadavi completed his pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York, and then went on to complete his allergy and immunology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital. He is board-​certified in adult and pediatric allergy/​immunology.

He has been cited in nationwide journals and has participated in research and drug trials. He also teaches medical students and residents about current allergy care and treatment.

He was included as a Rising Star in the Super Doctors Los Angeles magazine for 2013 and the Patients’ Choice Compassionate Doctor Award.

My son has viral induced asthma with persistent wheezing and coughing since age 2 ½ years old. None of the prescribed medicine would work. We finally took our 4 year old son to Dr. Khadavi who listened to our sons chest and performed pulmonary function test to diagnose and treat him. Since only one visit, Dr. Khadavi prescribed the right medicine that kept our son’s wheezing under control. He really cares about his patients, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable.
I would recommend him to anyone who has allergy, or asthma or just a frustrated parent that wants her child to be well. :))

Wow, where do I begin? 5 stars are not adequate. Dr. Khadavi is truly one of the best doctors out there! Here’s why…
1) Location: He is very conveniently located to my home which makes stopping in effortless.
2) Ease of scheduling appointments: As a seasonal allergy sufferer, sometimes I may need to quickly and unexpectedly stop in. Whenever that happens, I just call his office and I am always greeted with a warm and cordial hello by his team. He is flexible and I can stop in pending he’s at the Beverly Hills location.
**Tip: He is only at the Beverly Hills location on Tuesdays & Fridays but he has an Encino office too!!**
3) Compassionate and personalized care: Dr. Khadavi listens first to truly understand your situation. From there, he gets to work and tailors a medical treatment plan based on your feedback and symptoms. What… a doctor who listens? That’s rare! I feel he cares about my situation and wants to make sure I don’t have to suffer. Very easy to talk to, trustworthy & extremely knowledgable.
I can list numerous reasons why I love Dr. Khadavi but that would be a novel! If you suffer from allergies of any type (animals, food, flower, etc), Dr. Khadavi is your «go to» Allergist even if you’re not in the area, he’s worth the trip to one of his locations.
Most importantly, after being a patient for one year now, I no longer suffer from intense allergy flare ups. His treatments have allowed me the advantage to be proactive as opposed to being reactive and I’m back in control of my allergies.

I’ve been struggling with allergies for years. I’ve been hesitant to do anything other than OTC and prescribed treatments as those have cause side-​effects which I haven’t enjoyed. Thus, for the past few years, I’ve just been dealing with them, even though they’ve been getting progressively worse. I was curious about sublingual treatments vs. shots and also curious about what I’m specifically allergic to. Within my first visit, Dr. Khadavi listened to my concerns and helped me walk through the available options. He did the allergy test right away and I was able to see that I’m in the top 75% he’s seen of those with outdoor allergies (trees, weeds, grasses, etc…). He’s far from my home in Glendora, but I drove to him as I saw so many positive reviews. I had been to an allergist before, but I didn’t proceed with testing as the allergist I previously met with didn’t address my concerns and I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. I now have a plan and I’m hopeful to get these horrible allergies under control. Thanks for taking the time to listen and address my concerns.

With the excellent reviews on Dr. Khadavi it was an easy selection to have him be my allergist. I do however find it rare that someone not only meets but exceeds your expectations. Dr. Khadavi listened to my concerns and truly cares about his patients. After a very thorough exam and some allergy tests it was confirmed I have some allergies. I am confident with his help I will be able to live a very healthy life, with minimal allergic flareups. Thank you Dr. Khadavi, and for anyone out there considering an allergist do yourself a favor and visit Dr. Khadavi. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Came in with horrible seasonal and Dr. Khadavi literally saved my life!!! I thought it was a horrible cold that was lasting months little did I know a simple nasal spray can make it all disappear!!! No more watery eyes and sneezing! He’s truly the best and kindest dr out there! 5 stars is an understatement.

Dr. Khadavi gets me in and out for my weekly allergy shots. While administering the shots he answers questions and concerns I have and then sends me on my way. He does not waste time and understands that I have to get to work. He also cares deeply about my health and encourages me as I have severe allergies. I highly recommend him.

I came here with my brother for a food allergy test. Dr. Khadavi has a very gentle demeanor. We went through the normal procedure.
Most doctors try to rip you off and take advantage of the insurance you have. Dr. Khadavi not only found the cheapest way of payment but helped me figure why I was so allergic to shrimp. I would have paid a lot more to get that information 15 years ago.

Based on his stellar Unilocal reviews, I went to Dr. Khadavi for a second opinion.
He was DEFINITELY worth the visit. I already feel so much better (mentally speaking). What he told me made so much more sense than what the other allergist said to me, and he didn’t scare me with all the things I could possibly have. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. I will know be going to him for any and all allergy related issues.

Dr. Alan goes about and beyond in what you look for in a doctor. He genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of his patients. He’s personable, attentive, accessible, and goes out of his way to give you the special care you require. Unlike many doctors he is not in an out, and spends as much time as you need with him. I have been coming to Dr. Khadavi for allergy shots for two years. My course is almost finished. His treatments have all but eliminated three major allergies. Dr. Khadavi is always very pleasant. He and his staff are efficient and respectful of my time. His charges have been fair. I recommend him very highly.

I went in to get allergy shots a few weeks ago for a terrible dog/​horse allergy I have. I’ve always had bad allergies and I had gotten an allergy test before, but I wanted to re-​do the test to confirm that I was still allergic to the same things after several years.
I made an appointment, brought my insurance info in, and met Dr. Khadavi. He’s really friendly, very straight-​forward, and for someone who isn’t great with needles — the shots have been pain-​free!
When I first came in, the allergy test we did was on my forearms — no painful needles on my back like the very first test I had ever done. After about 15 minutes, Dr. Khadavi came back and confirmed that I was very allergic to dogs and horses and mildly allergic to a few trees/​pollens. We talked about possible options, but decided that doing a twice weekly dog & allergy shot would be best!
And I’m already a few weeks into treatment, and it’s been a breeze. Checking in is super fast. I come in Tuesday & Friday mornings, pop in, get a shot in both arms, and am out within 5 – 10 minutes. The past several times I’ve come, I was there for such a brief period of time that I didn’t even need to pay any money to park in the garage!
While they do not validate parking, it’s only $ 1.60 for 15 minutes, and besides my first visit, which took about 30 minutes, I’ve never parked there for longer than 15 minutes. The waiting area is also very relaxing and has comfy chairs.
I’d definitely recommend this location & Dr. Khadavi to friends & family.

AWESOME Doctor … First of all I was impressed that I was called to the back on time. His staff was very professional and friendly. The office has a nice soothing décor. Dr. Alan had a wonderful disposition. He has a great smile too… I could tell that he is passionate about his job. I left the room feeling like I had received the best service. I was looking for an allergist near my home and finally found one! Thanks to Unilocal!Dr. Khadavi has helped me cope with my seasonal allergies. He is very courteous and understanding of my allergy needs. Allergy medication can become costly and that was an issue for me and Dr. Khadavi was able to provide affordable options.
Also, I checked into Unilocal and got a free nasal rinse!
Tip: They don’t provide parking validation. If you don’t mind a short walk, park in the residential areas (watch out for the parking signs!) for free. I found 2 hours free parking on the street. Also, Dr. Khadavi is only in this office a couple days a week.
