Art One Gallery

Am so excited that Art One is now in Beverly Hills! We have done business with Helen and Art One for almost two decades (from back when they were in Santa Monica,) and have always found wonderful /​inspiring /​fun and valuable artwork there! I’ve bought half-​a-​dozen Fazzinos and other pieces there — Art One can have the artist personalize them, you know — and we look forward to decades more warmth and inspiration from Art One and Helen.
Go in, even if just to look around — you’ll have such a good time. They’re lovely people, no pressure, the art on display is happily amazing, and you could leave with a wonderful gift, for yourself or someone else!

Art One Gallery has always come through when it comes to SoCal themed gifts.
It’s not easy finding well made gifts for relatives and acquaintances in Japan who can be quite picky, but the items I’ve purchased from this business have always been popular and well appreciated.
They have some really high-​priced LA Dodgers items in the thousands, (bling studded baseball helmet, etc.), but I can usually manage to find fun and cute items like decorative surfboards ($ 25) and photos of Santa Monica beach ($ 35) and the DTLA skyline on canvas frame ($ 25 during clearance sale) within my gift budget.
I most recently went here in April 2016 for their clearance sale at the previous location in Santa Monica on the Third Street Promenade; by now they have probably already relocating to their new storefront in Beverly Hills — I’ll update my review later this year after visiting their new location in Beverly Hills.

WoW!!! Helen, thank you! In this gallery, there is really fun and cool art! And They work with you to personalize it to you. Helen did great stuff with the frame. Helen, Every day I thank you when I look at my Perlago hanging in our living room. They never push to sell, just go too see fun stuff! But watch out, you will be hooked on something that you HAVE to have… but you will smile every time you look out it.

Amazing customer service! Ask for Michelle. She will know the perfect matting and frame every time. I drive 30 – 40 minutes to get here because they are the only ones I trust for whatever I need framed.

Wow! I almost walked by this place thinking it was just a local tourist trap. I was surprised to find a good collection of the work of California Artist Steve Kaufman. Kaufman was Andy Warhol’s assistant at the Factory in the late ‘70s early ‘80s. and worked with Keith Haring in group shows at Club 57. Kaufman was a good friend of gallery owner Helen Randell. For a treat, ask Helen to show you the Kaufman Clown painting ;)

What a wonderful place to discover new artists and see various examples of art mediums. Michelle and Melissa are very helpful and informative, as well as being very sweet.
It can be intimidating going into an art gallery, but at Art One they make you want to come back before you ever leave!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They framed an important document for me, and did a perfect job. I will take anything else I need framed to them. Michelle is a doll, and their framing selection and options were great. Thank you!

I like the one in Westwood better, but it’s a nice change of pace on the promenade from clothes shopping.
I feel like the staff at this one feels like 99% of people who come through aren’t going to buy something so they are mean to you.
