Bedford Breast Center

After 27 years, I had to find a new breast center. Because of past medical history, I was very anxious about connecting with a different facility. However, from the first moment that I spoke to Cel continuing with my meeting with Dr. Richardson, it was incredible. Cel was so helpful; she was even going to pick up my old medical records if I wasn’t able to secure them. Along with Cel, the rest of the staff was extremely efficient and welcoming. The radiologist was very competent and kind. Dr. Richardson was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and overall wonderful. I feel like I have found my new home and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. They exemplify what medical care should be.

Love, Love, Love the team at Bedford Breast Center. Went yesterday for an Ultra-​sound. The office is beautiful and is located in a lovely area of Beverly Hills. I met with Dr. Heather Richardson who really was as brilliant as she is beautiful. She explained everything as she did the ultra-​sound and answered all of my millions of questions on breast cancer prevention. The staff at the center including Roya Beheshti and Cel Emerson treated me like family. What a wonderful experience!

I’m simply amazed! The office patient coordinator Cel is fantastic! She was reassuring and made me fill as though she had known me for years. Cel was warm and welcoming and made certain I would be okay. And then… Dr. Richardson, she was able to take me on as a case for a rare condition of my breast and immediately the one-​on-​one was exceptional, personal and professional. I felt encouraged and positive going forward. I realized that I am truly in the right place for my care. BBC is awesome! Thumbs up!

If I could give Dr. Richardson and the Bedford BC 10 stars I would. Here’s the sitch, I’m a pretty healthy woman, mother of one, and I wouldn’t usually consider myself paranoid. Buuut I don’t usually find an unusual growth on my breast. A bit tmi for Unilocal but it’s for story purposes so mkay, and of course Web MD makes you feel like you’re dying and that you’re already doomed, so STAY OFF of web md for the love of life! After searching Unilocal high and low for dermatologists, obgyn doctors, I mean I didn’t know who to call I’d never had this kind of thing happen, I’m a cash pay patient, and I don’t have a regular PCP that I see, I finally found this center. I’d been referred over to the Bedford BC from Dr. Cassileth’s office (thank heavens for Desiree over there), I gave them a call and they scheduled me in for the next day! The next day! … Believe me, after gushing my whole life story to 6 different offices, calling every specialty doctor under the sun, only to be scheduled out for 2 weeks because it’s the soonest I could be seen … to now be scheduled in for the next day … when you already believe the worst to be happening to your body … well it was the biggest relief!
Just walking in to the center you automatically feel so comforted, the girls there are so warm and welcoming and made me feel 1000% more at ease and less like I wanted to have a melt down. I was seen right away by Dr. Richardson who by the way is the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever spoken to, the woman is a bad ass. She answered all of my questions promptly, giving me examples that made sense to me in a way that I could grasp what she was saying, and she walked me through everything she was seeing on the ultrasound screen as she was seeing them. PS the ultrasound lubricant was in a warmer and I know that sounds bougie but it MAKES A DIFFERENCE … it’s going on your bare skin, I had to include it in my review. Anyway, she walked me through the exam, went over why my concerns were valid but how I’m totally fine and what I’m experiencing is totally normal. WHEWWW!!! Pretty sure I was teary eyed by the end of the exam, but the point is, invest in your health, see a doctor that’s trusted and experienced and knowledgeable. This was literally the best $ 250 I have ever spent and I’d do it again in a heart beat because, health. I highly highly recommend Dr. Richardson, the entire staff there, and this facility … if you couldn’t already tell by the novel I just wrote. I will be referring everyone I know to go here. It’s the kindest, warmest, most inviting place ever and that speaks volumes considering most hospitals, other facilities like this, and doctors practices feel cold and disconnected. Not this place. First off I would like to give 10 stars to Dr. Heather Richardson and the Bedford BC!!! They are simply the best!!! I do not think I have ever been so excited to write a review. My experience was perfect from the first phone call to lovely Royah to coming into the most beautiful doctor’s office I have ever seen and then meeting Cel and Royah in person. They were both so friendly and so helpful and charming it was like having a tea with my close friends. They helped me with getting my records over to them and any other paperwork. I was so relaxed.
Then I got the pleasure of meeting Dr. Heather Richardson. Again it was like meeting an old friend. Dr. Richardson is so knowledgeable and she handled all my questions to my satisfaction. She is very skilled and looks at the whole picture. I got everything I needed from my appointment with her and more. Dr. Heather Richardson is caring and warm and I look forward to a long relationship at the Bedford BC.
I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had my first mammogram here and the ladies made me feel very comfortable. Mariah was my Tech and she did an awesome job explaining the whole process to me — making it less awkward. My experience here was great and I highly recommend them.

This is an absolutely top notch, fantastic breast center. I recently had a scare with a suspect lump. In 3 hours…3 HOURS… I had an ultrasound, mammogram, radiologist review, appointment with the breast doctor, and a biopsy. The speed at which we could go through each step in 1 appointment was truly amazing. And one in which I’m so deeply grateful. 2 days later I thankfully received good news. Time is everything in these circumstances — for both the physical and mental health.
Cel at the front desk understood how concerned I was and not only got me immediately, but made sure to schedule it when the radiologist would be in. She was supportive and kind. Dr. Richardson was also very positive, supportive, kind, and confident. She put you at ease and you felt like she genuinely cared. She was very upfront with the risks and yet didn’t alarm you. You felt like you were getting the full picture.
Now a few weeks later the area where I had the biopsy is recovering really well. They told me what to expect and it’s exactly what they said — so I was prepared. The point of the biopsy is healing to a place where I won’t even be able to find it. So even from a cosmetic standpoint Dr. Richardson did a truly fantastic job.

Absolutely the best Breast Center-​Period. They are able to treat people with cancer in a professional, humane, and compassionate manner. They have the best treatments available anywhere and the most professional staff one could hope for.
Dr. Richardson and Dr. Cassileth took amazing care of me. I would recommend them to anybody, anytime for people that are suffering from Breast Cancer And having to make life altering decisions as it pertains to their health and appearance .
Even if you are needing to do your annual breast exam, do not hesitate to go to this facility. On the off chance that you have a positive diagnosis, you will be in the best hands.
