My 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter love the Beverly Hills Chess Club. They always have fun and learn alot from the wonderful staff of teachers. I have investigated chess lessons around the city and this club is really special. We can attend at our convenience and are not obligated to attend the same afternoon each week. The owners are the lovliest people and are extremly responsive to their members needs and ideas. They also run terrific weekend tournaments so students can put their learning to task and develop a rating. Students of any level will find a place to learn and grow at Beverly Hills Chess Club.

What a cool place this is! I was next door at the jewelry store when I heard cheering. Someone had just won a chess tournament. They had party food and drinks on a table. People of all ages were playing. They have giant chess pieces on the floor to play with.
I see they give lessons, too, which someday I will take, but for now, I’m going to send my nephew.
In this little mall there are other nice independent stores and 2 restaurants that I like — and FREE parking!

I never thought I would ever say this about a chess place as I am not an advide player, but this is fabulous. My son loves it, the people are so sincere and generous at the same time easy to learn from. they provide all kinds of levels, tournaments, classes for just about any age group. I HIGHLY recommend the BEVERLY HILLS CHESS CLUB, come and jsut take a peak, if you want to learn, or inquire about chess this is the place!
