I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Chiu over a month ago and could not be happier. He is truly a master. I went to consultations with various surgeons and ended up selecting Dr. Chiu because he, unlike other surgeons, is very thorough, knowledgeable and understanding. He recommends what is right for your body and does not agree to do anything just to satisfy your unrealistic expectations. The surgery was a breeze and the recovery was exactly as described by Dr. Chiu. The staff at BHPS is very friendly and accommodating. I am extremely pleased with my results and would not think twice to recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr. Chiu for your outstanding job!

Went back for another Ultherapy treatment. The last one worked great but time marches on and it’s always good for a touch up. The office is still beautiful and the staff are super friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Chiu and his team.

I must say the staff and Dr. Chiu is amazing. From Ms. Stacy to Shannon and Dahlia. Dahlia work out a appropriate pay plan and Shannon at the front desk with her welcoming presence and professionalism. Their customer service is as lovely as the environment. Dr. Chiu work proceed his reputation. I had some lipo work done years ago and I must say getting it again but this time with Dr. Chiu was a way better job then the one I received before. The outcome was better then I already imagine. Provide with the proper care instructions for before and after is appreciated for a maximum result and at a more appropriate rate for healing.
Dr.Chiu has been in his field for a long time. Yet He still has a passion about his work and is very engaging. I see why. He is brilliant. After having my son, my breasts dropped since I breastfed. I started looking on multiple data bases for a great cosmetic physician to correct my problem. After 5 consultations and evaluating numerous doctors in California, I was considerably pleased to hire Dr. Chiu to do my procedure. Not only was the office and staff such a pleasant experience but Dr. Chiu gave me the BEST consultation I’ve have ever had.
He didn’t try to advise me on larger breasts like everyone else wanted. He didn’t pressure me to do other procedures (tummy tuck, Botox, lips– like every doctor in Beverly Hills) Furthermore, his office didn’t try to sell me on a discounted rate to get my business. Instead he gave me the type of experience I would only hope every patient that is looking for breast augmentation to come SEE him. During my consultation– He answered EVERY QUESTION– IN DETAIL. And trust me I had plenty. Dr. Chiu was very knowledgeable given the fact I had already seen several doctors that same month.
It’s been 8 months since my procedure and I still can’t believe how amazing my results are. I have almost NO SCARING. I can’t see anything (I scar very easily FYI) –My family and friends were shocked, how soon I was able to move around by day 4. (I didn’t use any pain killers after the second day because my pain was very minimal)
Dr. Chiu truly cares for his patients and would go that extra mile to make sure we are satisfied. The experience I have received is one that money can’t ever buy. All I can do is thank Dr. Chiu and his incredible staff for helping what most mothers would only wish for.

This review is regarding the breast augmentation i had with dr. Chiu at BHPS.
After many years of pondering and contemplating about getting my boobs done, I finally started to ask around to my friends and family for doctor referrals in early february. After reading reviews and looking extensively for the before and after pictures, my top three choices were dr. Chiu, dr. Linder and dr. David kim. I know all three doctors are highly praised and well known doctors in the industry in Beverly Hills and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with Dr. Chiu.
First of all, Dr. Chiu won me over during the consultation right away. When I went in for consultation with the other doctors, it really felt like a «plastic surgery factory.» I understand they perform hundreds of surgeries a year and it’s easy to overlook the patient’s sensitivity but seriously, the doctors looked and talked and treated me like my boobs and I didn’t mean a thing to them. They just looked at my boobs, gave their scripted talk about how the procedures are done, sent me to their assistant to talk prices and boom, I was out the door. But as a person who is new to the plastic surgery environment, making the decision to go under the procedure is a sensitive, personal, important subject.
Dr. Chiu and his office is different.
He is sincere, caring, informative, patient, understanding. He really takes his time to observe your figure to recommend proper shape and sizing. He sits down next to you to answer any questions you may have and describes the procedure to get you excited. His appointments never feel rushed. He really treats you like you’re his most important patient! and everyone at this office is this way! I could rave about how personable Dahlia and Shanna is– they really make me feel comfortable every time I go in.
​Now that you know how awesome Dr. Chiu is. let me talk about my results. I am actually only a week after my surgery and I can already confidently say that I am very pleased with the result. The surgery itself went so smooth and the operating room is brand new, clean, and their staff also treats you like real VIP to removes all your nervousness. Because Dr. Chiu has very delicate hands, my recovery was sooooo easy. By the second day, I was off of the hard medicine and moved to tyenol! It’s only been a week but I can move freely and the implants feels so much more soft than I expected. Swelling is very minimal and everyday I can see them settling and the incisions healing.​
long story short, I am going to be recommending BHPS to all my friends who are looking into getting their surgery done (my friend got tummy tuck and lipo few years ago and he’s very happy with his results as well).

Not sure where to start my life has changed so much in so little time. Dr Gabriel Chiu has been an amazing and attentive surgeon to me. Had my breast augmentation done last month and I have to say I love the results! Dr Chiu is extremely caring and friendly. I had been contemplating getting breast augmentation for many years and finally I saw one of my friends get get them… but didn’t looks like she had surgery at all– which is exactly what I wanted!
When I came in, Chiu was very knowledgeable about everything told me pros cons and was very transparent, which I really appreciated.
Surgery day, same thing again very knowledgeable! Post recovery, he called me from his personal cell phone that nights– I was so impressed! I got the surgery Friday morning and back at work by Tuesday.

My transformation journey started in June 2013 when I finally decided to lose the 100+ pounds I had been carrying for too many years. Although I had a few ups and downs on the scale, how I lost the weight was through a change in my eating and exercise habits. After a year of stable weight, I consulted with Gabriel Chiu, DO of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, Inc. to see if I was ready for the next step in November 2015.

From the initial consult to post op visits, I have felt genuine concern and appreciation for my well-​being and treatment. Everyone in the office is so generous with their time to answer questions and meet my needs. I cannot go without saying that Shanna and Laurie have been there for me every step of the way. These ladies ROCK! They represent what professional medical care associates should be. And Dr. Chiu. I cannot express the words to say how wonderful, understanding, patient and a skilled surgeon this man is. I have never felt rushed or my questions unanswered. My caregivers through both procedures were impressed with the quality of care I was receiving.
I consider my surgical outcomes to be a huge success and I’m only nine weeks out from my initial surgery. I was so pleased with my results of my first Fat Transfer to Breasts, I elected for additional to get additional rounding and youthful appearance. I can see the body transformation difference already is amazing. I can’t wait until my body has fully recovered for my final result. My procedures were:
January 15 — Repair of Diastasis Recti, Abdominoplasty, Pubic Lift, Liposuction to Bilateral Arm, Flank and Outer Thigh, and Fat Transfer to Breasts
February 25 — Bilateral Thigh Reduction, Liposuction to Front, Back, Inner Thighs, Knees and Calves, and Fat Transfer to the Breasts.
As you go through the pre and post op process, Dr. Chiu and his staff will review all the instructions thoroughly. Some of the instructions will state «optional» or «recommended». If it is on the instructions, do it. Plain and simple. You want the optimal result? Then you will follow all instructions to the letter to get that result. Take Grapeseed and Gotu Kola optional? Do it. Need a pain pump? Do it. Get Hyperbaric Treatment? Do it. Have Lymphatic Massages? Do it. Wear your garments ²⁴⁄₇ until they tell you to start decreasing? Do it. You are making an investment in your physical and emotional well-​being. These instructions are there to help you achieve the most return on that investment.
As you are reading this review please note that I haven’t completed my journey as I write this. I think the most people would ask «Would you do it again?» Without a doubt. But not unless I had Dr. Chiu and all the staff at BHPS leading the way and travelling along this undertaking with me. It is very difficult to find the words and express the deep appreciation I have for everyone at BHPS. Especially Dr. Chiu. He is an utmost professional, highly skilled surgeon and comforting physician. This has been an extremely positive experience for me and my husband. Thanks again BHPS for the gracious care and kindness in my experience.

Dr. Gabriel Chui and his staff at BHPS Inc. are the best. If you have any doubts about choosing Dr. Chui as your plastic surgeon, don’t! He’s performed over ten thousand breast augmentations. This man literally has it down to a tee. He is an artist when it comes to breasts. I was nervous about loss of sensitivity to my nipples and thankfully, never had to go through that. I am at the 3 week mark and I am loving my results so far. All my friends say they look super natural. Overall I would recommend Dr. Chui to anyone looking for a perfectly natural result.

Staff over there have attitude, especially the salesperson. After they charged your card, their attitude changed immediately! Also, I bought some that is out of stock, and they kept saying that they are still out of stock! I already gave up asking them and don’t want to pick up their calls.
It’s already a year that’s why I left a comment!

Ok. So I had my year visit. And I have some opinions about it. Before before I get into that. I talked to Chiu and feel that I do have to make something clear after we talked.
Yes, I agreed to just a cosmetic surgery only and not to improve my breathing. The point being I did asked him in the beginning, if he could just do it since he was operating (and a lot of money to boot), but he declined. I chose him anyway on the basis that my breathing wouldn’t get any worse since it was all cosmetic. However, cosmetic and function are somewhat intertwined. He did make it smaller so… And it isn’t that much worse, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel a slight noticeable difference. He thinks otherwise and it wasn’t due to the surgery.
Anyway, to the visit itself. It was a let down and I was proven right about what the visit would probably entail. The entire visit was dissecting my review instead of focusing what could be done. I explained pretty specifically what I felt he missed, and each time, he became more entrenched that he did an excellent job. It was disappointing that he didn’t have skills to do a certain portion I asked regarding my nostrils (one of the two main things). The nose is still better than it was and he came closer to other main thing I wanted. I want to reiterate that, if i didn’t already. However, «better» is relative, and it’s just disappointing when I went in hoping for certain things I asked for.
I was also taken aback (and really offended) that he rebutted that he believes reviews last with him for the rest of his life, as if being equal, when I tried to explain during our talk that a patient has to live with his or her nose for the rest of his or her life. Ironically enough, I did feel like I was «defending myself in court» when he suggested it wasn’t. He didn’t really try to make any amends (understandably since he think he did great) and was highly dissatisfied with the visit experience.
This update is my new improved score to the «a-​Ok» (which that caption gives sentiment to how I feel) stars after a request from him to review what I wrote. I thought about what he said and I think he makes some valid points that it’s «closer» to what I wanted (without going into gruesome detail), which I’m not afraid to admit. The **bottom line** is that I don’t think it was the best it could be (not total perfection obviously) and I would get a revision, if I could, to improve both function and cosmetic issues that still bother me. I do feel justified in my past mixed review, as I mention positives and negatives, and I do feel I’m being balanced. And even more so, after realizing the visit was fruitless as it was aggravating.

My experience so far is limited to consultation and scheduling. I haven’t had any procedures yet, but Dr. Chiu and his staff are wonderful. Everyone has answered every question and if they don’t know, follow up is quick. Dr. Chiu was very reassuring during the consult. I wanted a surgeon who would help me with the after effects of weight loss without over promising me to look like a ‘Barbie’. He explained in clear language what he wanted to do and why. Completely reassured I’ve made the right decision. Kelsey, Laurie, and Heeva are all very attentive. I am excited not anxious which is proof of the trust I’ve placed in this team.

I can not express how happy I am with my breast augmentation! Dr. Chiu is an amazing surgeon he is very detailed in his first meeting about expectations and actual results! He pointed out that I had tubular breasts which I had no idea and because of that told me what my possible outcome would be like. He recommends the perfect amount of cc’s for your body frame but at no point pressures you. I went from a small be to a D/​DD depending on the bra (500cc’s). The operation was quick and easy no complications, and recover time wasn’t bad. I healed quickly and within a month I was back to my normal activities. His staff is absolutely amazing, Laurie was really sweet and helpful during the whole process. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Chiu for any other procedure!

Being religious about health and fitness and once having larger breasts prior to working out, I had always thought about getting breast implants. I constantly hesitated on obtaining consults and also going back and forth on the pros and cons of implants, but then one day I randomly decided to Unilocal some reviews of plastic surgeons. Dr. Gabriel Chiu had popped up with some pretty good reviews so I finally decided to make a consultation appointment to find out what it really was all about. It took about a month before I could get in to see him since he was super busy with clients, but it gave me time to do more research on the procedure. Dr. Chiu was my very first consult and although it took a little bit to see him once I was in the office, it was worth every moment. Walking into the office the staff greeted you with a smile and made sure that you were comfortable while you waited bringing you drinks or little snacks.
I felt like Dr. Chiu really gave me his full attention and cared about the procedure I had wanted done. He explained everything in full detail and then some, without me even having to ask the questions. After explaining the procedure, discussing different implants, pro’s and con’s of surgery, etc… he sat with me to try on different implant sizes to see what they would look like. He had instructed me to come back with different shirts so that I could really understand and visualize the difference in sizes and how I would look in them to make a decision on my final sizing. Although he gave suggestions about what sizes he felt would look natural he left the final decision to me to ensure that I would feel comfortable in my own skin. Some of his ultimate goal’s that I felt were to make the client happy, the procedure to go safe and complication free and the breasts to look natural on the body.

After making my decision to go ahead with surgery and scheduling a date, I was still a little reluctant on the procedure. Wondering if having implants would give me better self esteem about myself. Coworkers had instructed me to get a second opinion just to have something to compare too, which I was hesitant as well to do. I ended up getting a second opinion by a surgeon closer to me and cheaper, but it really just ended up ensuring my confidence in Dr. Chiu. The amount of time Dr. Chiu spent with me and my mother discussing the procedure and finding the perfect size for me really was above and beyond what I had anticipated. I couldn’t thank him enough for that.
Surgery day everyone there was respectful to. The anesthesiologist came and interviewed me prior to the procedure and helped ensure I was comfortable and pain free. The bedside nurse eased my tears and confirmed the feelings I was having were normal and might even continue. After waking up from surgery there was a snack bag awaiting and Dr. chiu and everyone there explaining how everything went «textbook» and my new breasts were «picture perfect.» I had no pain or nausea after surgery and felt amazing. My mother couldn’t believe I just had surgery. With the medications that Dr. Chiu recommends before surgery I’ve had minimal bruising, swelling and pain. I am currently day ⁴⁄₅ post op and only used a couple of pain meds on day 1 – 3, almost not even needing any on day 3. I didn’t think I had a high pain tolerance, but comparing this procedure and the impacted toothache pain I had several months ago I would rate the tooth pain at ¹⁰⁄₁₀ and this pain ⁵⁄₁₀. Yeah I’m sore, which is to be expected, but it’s amazing how being healthy, having a good surgeon and taking the right medications prescribed to you really do help you recover quickly! I love how Dr. Chiu really supports a natural healthy recovery to things. I honestly think this makes a huge difference.
I would say so far overall, I’ve had an amazing experience with Dr. Chiu and am happy with the decision to go through him. I eagerly await what my final results will look like and will update my review. The only thing that holds me from giving ⁵⁄₅ is the fact that I had to reschedule my appointments quite a bit because of schedule changes. I may be super picky with that, but I’m thankful that I have a pretty flexible schedule to be able to do that. So I wish I could do 4.5 on ratings, but it won’t let me. But I would say if scheduling was my only issue for a pretty hefty surgery, then it was worth the schedule flopping to have a complication free surgery by a surgeon who cares!

This review is for the confusion surrounding their spa procedures specifically.
I have come in a few times (several years ago). I had pretty good experiences overall. Over a year ago, I tried to schedule a facial and was told they weren’t scheduling ANY new facials etc (for some reason). It was pretty weird. So I found another facialist.
I got one of those ‘we miss you, come back here’s a discount’ emails from them, and thought, hey it’s been a long time I’ll try ‘em out again. I checked their website and they have all their spa procedures listed under medispa.
I call them to schedule an appointment, and am told that their esthetician isn’t accepting any new clients. I told them I’ve actually been in before. Then it was clarified that the esthetician is out on leave. I mention that this happened to me well over a year ago and I had actually moved on until I got that email. She makes no apologies for the confusion. I also don’t understand why, if this person is out on LEAVE (with no mention for how long as it sounds indefinite since they won’t schedule anything) this hasn’t been updated on their website and why it isn’t mentioned in the promo email (excluding spa procedures).
The fact that this has happened twice to me now is pretty weird. And it’s also odd that they never say WHEN their person will be back. And also, why would you only have one esthetician anyways? Why even have the spa procedures listed on your website at all?
Update your website, include language in your emails. It’s that simple. Don’t mislead clients.

My breasts were desperate. (7 years of breastfeeding babies. We are talking NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC here!!! I tried to pretend they had perk left in them. So many beautiful memories with my wonderful, useful old breasts!)

I faint when I sprain my ankle or cut my finger. I am a major puss!!! Major! I am also terrified of surgery and MRI! Obviously why I waited this long! (No pun intended) I am also anti narcotic and antihistamine because they make me feel like I have no soul.

Four years ago I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Chiu. From the consultation to post op, I felt completely comfortable with him and his friendly staff. He went above and beyond to meet my needs and make my experience exceptional. I still receive numerous compliments and have referred multiple people to him. This year I have gone twice for lip injections using Juvederm and with no surprise I love my results. He is a perfectionist just as I am and I can always trust his opinion and choices with my procedures! I will stay a loyal patient due to his great services and customer satisfaction!

I had been looking for the BEST Breast Augmentation surgeon for YEARS and finally found Dr. Chiu. I was recommended by a friend that already went in for a consult. I started following his work and it was consistently beautiful and natural. Know that I have been going to consults after consults since i turned 18, and finally got them at 21 and was never comfortable with any other doctors before. To me, they all lacked bedside manners but not Dr. Chiu! After my consult I immediately booked my surgery date that same month cause I was THAT happy to have finally found the right doctor.

He prescribes the best medication I honestly didn’t feel a thing. He’s even there when you wake up after surgery, waiting with a goodie bag of chicken noodle soup, crackers, and juice to send you home with. SO cute and thoughtful.
He is such a perfectionist, he takes the time to fully explain everything to you.
I’m pretty small, with minimal breast issue and small nipples– none of these were obstacles for him, he explained in detail he was gonna use something called a keller funnel with silicone implants that went under the muscle with incisions through the areolas.
He gave me a perfectly natural look, great cleavage and I am totally happy and pleased with my results.
His talented staff is always so nice, so friendly, and helpful and they are so personable that it was easy to be open with them and trust them with any concerns/​questions I had pre– and post-​op and his office décor is pretty!
They always have the best snacks laid out for you :)
Parking is so so so easy too. There’s valet underground you can get validated and free 2 hour parking just down the street.

Dr Chiu is as good as it gets! From his competence, knowledge, to his bedside manner, to his actual work (more like art), he is absolutely fabulous. I knew from the moment I met him and his staff that was the one I wanted to do my breast augmentation. He was so attentive starting during the first consultation, did not try to «sell» his work, just let it speak for itself. I could not recommend him more. My augmentation looks PERFECT and NATURAL. If you want big fake looking stripper boobs, I would not recommend him. The healing process was fast, minimal bruising, the incision scars (subareolar) are basically nonexistant, they just look amazing. I was so nervous before the surgery (to the point where I was crying in the operating room right before), but his calm and confident demeanor made me feel calm and confident. Even since my surgery, he has been so attentive, remembers little details, and could not be more professional.
Now onto his staff – Laurie, Trish and Shanna… so sweet and have made me feel welcomed, and not just another patient, but an actual person. Amazing. I will/​and have recommended him to anyone who even jokes about getting theirs done.

Going to Dr. Chiu for my breast augmentation was THE BEST decision I made in my life. He was so gentle and professional that I had almost zero pain after my surgery. He puts you on a great diet plan with vitamins that allows your body to bounce back so quick from surgery. I had my implants put in on Friday morning and by that Sunday I was driving to long beach to a party!

Dr. Chiu is certainly one of the best plastic surgeons that I have encountered. I would like to detail my procedures in order to provide Unilocal users considering plastic surgery a thorough review. First, upon my first appointment, I walked into Dr. Chiu’s office. Whoa, where is this place? It looks like a high-​end spa with small snacks showcased on the glass table. I was immediately accommodated by the front desk. She is super nice and efficient. Upon meeting Dr. Chiu, I noticed that he was different from other doctors. A lot of the doctors would recommend this or that in order to profit from you. However, Dr. Chiu is different in that he ensures that safety is always the number one concern. He doesn’t try to convince me to do other parts, and informed me very well about my procedures. Additionally to that, Dr. Chiu has a sense of humor, which made me less nervous about my procedure.
Dr. Chiu is very clear in regards to what you should do and should not do before and after surgery. Going into the surgery office, I was shocked by the familiar view of the office. This is where the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Botched are often filmed! The most prestigious plastic surgeons have performed at this location. I was quickly accommodated by two nurses. They were very nice, and chatted with me and made sure that I was in the most comfortable situation. I still miss the heated bed! I wish I could purchase one!
The surgery went well. I was provided with the highest quality of care. Money well spent. Additionally, Dr. Chiu and the nurses had great bedside manners, they ensured me that the surgery had went well. Their care never stops after surgery, they continue to monitor your health and process.
I am currently one week into post-​operation. I will certainly update as the healing process continues.
Dr. Chiu not only deserves 5 stars. He should get like 7 stars! From the walls of celebrity photos and albums of before/​after photos, with the addition of a stack load of patient testimonies, you should not even hesitate on choosing Dr. Chiu to take another step closer to perfection.

Always a wonderful experience. I had Ultherapy done on my face and neck. Dr. Chiu did the treatment himself so I know that the results will be great. I have been here in the past for Botox and facials. I have seen the results of his surgeries on others and the results have been outstanding. Excellent staff, beautiful office. I could not be happier about how wonderful my breast implant surgery went! The results are exactly (if not better) than I had hoped for. I was so scared and nervous about the pain, recovery, and how I would look afterwards. I was up and about the very next day without pain.
I did not arrive at this decision easily. I struggled with my perception of public judgment and internal conflict. We came in for a consultation with Dr. Chiu and he is an amazing doctor made us feel real comfortable and his staff is so friendly and hospitable we will be doing our procedure with him and would recommend anyone who wants a plastic surgery to come here.

In an industry that can feel superficial and focused on $$$ and volume (especially for breast augs), Dr. Chiu is a gem among the rest, and is the absolute opposite of what seems to be the norm. I feel truly blessed to have him as my surgeon. He and his staff made the entire experience phenomenal!
This was my second procedure with him, the first took place when he first opened his practice about 10 years ago for a mole removal procedure — it was near my eyelid fold, so it required a skilled surgeon to hid/​eliminate any scarring. Despite him having just started his own practice, I knew very quickly he was the right Doctor for this procedure, and I also decided that once I could afford it, he would be the one to do my breast aug. I had met with other doctors at that time, with much longer tenure in the practices, but none of them compared to Dr. Chiu.
How did I know he was the one? 1) His warm demeanor and attentive listening/​communication style 2) Extensive training background 3) He has an artist’s eye as evidenced by his love of photography. For me, it was important to find a surgeon with not only technical expertise, but also an artist’s eye for beauty and symmetry. My husband has these two qualities so I’ve experienced the value of these rarely combined talents in my personal life!
Fast forward 10 years later and I am now the happy and proud owner of a soft, beautiful, natural looking breast aug that is the envy of my friends, so much so that a close friend travelled from Vegas to have her surgery performed by Dr. Chiu. The entire experience from beginning to end was an absolute pleasure– the front desk, Laurie, and Charlotte provided a gold standard customer service experience. I never felt like one of many, I felt like I was their only patient. The gorgeous Bev Hills office doesn’t hurt either!
Also, Dr. Chiu prescribed a detailed regimen of natural vitamins and minerals for pre and post-​op in order to optimize your body’s recovery — I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I resumed normal activity and how good I felt post-​surgery! You won’t find this level of detail with other doctors, from what I have learned from acquaintances, and I truly believe it made a difference. He took the extra time to answer each and every question, as did his staff, which put me so much at ease, I could not wait to get to the operating room!
Choosing a doctor can seem daunting, but I whole-​heartedly recommend meeting with Dr. Chiu!

Dr. Chiu did my breast augmentation and double tummy tuck in 2007. He did an amazing job and my results are good as new. I also had to delay my procedures because I was anemic. He sent me for b12 injections to get my levels up. One month later he cleared me and did the work. My implants look natural and my tummy has stayed flat even when my weight went up and down. I highly recommend him.

Updating my review — it has now been quite a few years since my tummy tuck and I wanted to say that I am still beyond pleased with my tummy tuck. I gained done weight last year and my stomach still looked beautiful. I have compared my results with many of my friends that had theirs done elsewhere and they have even opted to go to Dr Chiu for a re-​do.
I want to add also about how amazing my experience was with Dr Chiu from start to end. During the initial consultation, he was warm and compassionate and HONEST. I remember him showing me before and afters on his iPad and one girl in particular truly looked amazing– I said «WOW!» & he replied, «I cannot take all the credit for hers, she was walking a lot and very consistent with taking care of herself after the procedure.» I have never met a more honest and humble doctor.
I would also like to add that Dr Chiu gives his personal cell number and encourages you to call or text with questions or concerns before and after the procedure. He and his assistant even got back to me at 3 am when I called from Fiji!
Another thing I loved about Dr Chiu; he believes in mixing alternative medications for recovery. For bruising and pain, he provided Traumeel which I was soon able to opt for instead of the remaining pain medication I had. Recovery was a breeze and I was very impressed by how quickly the soreness and bruising subsided.
I would still only go to Dr Chiu and since I am expecting now, I know that if I decide on another tummy tuck, I can be confidant that Dr Chiu will work his magic once again.

Dr. Chiu and his wife (Christine) have a very unique and well run practice in Beverly Hills.
Often, plastic surgeons really only care about doing the procedure and can be aggressive /​pushy with their recommendations, but Dr. Chiu is much more reasonable and will give an honest and professional opinion about what will work, what is safe, and how to get optimal results. His results look very impressive, and he’s very meticulous and skilled, never rushed. On top of that, he does free lifetime follow up visits. When I asked complicated questions, he was very thoughtful and patient, and his answers showed he really understood the underlying physiology. He’s obviously very caring and will give his home number to patients to make sure they can reach him if needed. That is way above and beyond for a surgeon, and this isn’t even a concierge practice!
From the Chanel style black and white décor to the Perrier and fruit at the front to the staff, everything about this practice makes you feel like it’s a concierge practice but without that premium cost. A surgeon and practice like this is very hard to find, especially in the competitive financially driven Beverly Hills market !
Even if you’re not in the immediate LA area, I think it’s worth making this a destination practice.
