I moved to LA about three years ago from Europe and since then Dr Woss has been my dentist of choice.
Her and her team are passionated professionals who knows how to get it right for their customers. They are so accommodating and courteous!

Went to Dr. Woss today for a check up and cleaning. I highly recommend for the care, calmness of the office, and lovely personalities of all I encountered. I had a bad experience recently when looking for a new dentist — flashy modern office, but cold and also felt that they were recommending unnecessary expensive work. Needless to say, it was a relief to find Dr. Woss. I look forward to my next check up.

My family has been seeing Beverly Woss for several years now. She has NEVER recommended anything unnecessarily and is always completely professional in nature. I have been coming to Dr Woss since I moved here over 5 years ago. She always does her own cleanings which is very rare at most Dentist offices.
Dr Woss has treated a few of my dental issues with amazing results. She switched out my fillings and also put in two crowns.
I know crowns aren’t a fun experience but Dr Woss was so meticulous. When one of my crowns came in with a microscopic crack she sent it back to make sure it was perfect. She is very professional and I would highly recommend her for any of your dental needs.

Dr. Woss has been my dentist for about a decade and she’s really great. Her technical skills as a dentist are terrific, and most importantly, she has integrity… she’s doesn’t push you to do any unnecessary procedures. She takes great care of your teeth! I have referred several other people to her over the years who are also very pleased with having her as their dentist. The office staff are great too.

Dr Woss has been our dentist now for five years to me, my husband and our two children. As the kids have grown into teenagers, she’s been key in helping form good dental hygiene habits. Bushes like the aunt who you can’t say know tob the kids love her!!! I have recommended her to all my friends!

I was referred to Dr. Woss by someone who has been her patient for at least 15 years. I have a terrible fear of dentists thanks to some awful experiences I had had over the years. As a result, I always wait until I need a lot of work to schedule an appointment. At the time that Dr. Woss was recommended, I had limited insurance. That limited insurance landed me at a dentist who extracted a tooth and left me with intense jaw pain for over three weeks. I was prepared to stop the dental work entirely. Then, it was suggested that I call Dr. Woss as I had received some money which would allow me to seek treatment without having to deal with the limited insurance, the goal of which was to do the least possible.
It took me a while to muster the courage to call for an appointment, but I was honest about my fear and anxiety from the beginning. I also told her about my various bad experiences. I needed a considerable amount of work done. I knew this before even walking into her office, so I wasn’t surprised by what she said I needed. Nor was there any reason for me to question her honesty. She presented various options and explained the benefits/​downsides to each one. Together, we worked out a plan which we, for the most part, carried out. I used all the money that I had and so still have a couple of major things which need to be done. She has said she will work with me.
In the meantime, I received dental insurance through Kaiser Permanente. The carrier is Delta Dental, and the plan is an HMO. Unfortunately, Dr. Woss does not take HMO insurance, but I am thinking I need to figure out a way to stick with her. Trying to find a dentist through the HMO is proving to be problematic and extremely anxiety-​provoking. For example, I researched a number of plan dentists and found one that had fairly good reviews on Unilocal.I made an appointment because a tooth that needs to be surgically extracted was causing me considerable pain. This dentist took a cursory look at and 3 x-​rays of my tooth. Within minutes, he said I needed a root canal and crown and gave me a referral appointment.
Now, the young girl taking the x-​rays seemed very inexperienced, so I was already nervous. This dentist’s diagnosis and ‘treatment plan’, however, was the last straw. I had already been told by a dentist, an endodontist and an oral surgeon that the tooth was not only not worth saving, it could not be saved. It needed to be surgically extracted. I haven’t been back to see this dentist since. I just keep praying that I will have more days without than with pain until I can figure out how to proceed… actually until I can figure out how to continue seeing Dr. Woss. I feel no fear or anxiety in her office which is significant since I experience generalized anxiety and panic attacks.
Anyway, if you are looking for an honest, a trustworthy and a compassionate dentist who puts your best interests first, then Dr. Beverly Woss is the dentist for you.

Dr. Woss and her staff are so great! They put you at ease and make going to the dentist a lot less stressful than it could be. They have always been able to squeeze me in on short notice when I’ve had any pain or problems that need attention asap. I also love the calming videos of sea animals they show on the screens in the rooms. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good dentist on the Beverly Hills area!
Note: parking in the building is valet only for visitors, and they only take cash. There is a bank in the lobby, and a few more down the street if you need to go to an ATM. Very limited street parking. You could maybe get a meter if you have the first appointment of the day.

I had my teeth cleaned and a new whitening tray made on 3÷17÷15.
Dr Woss actually does her own cleanings! Not a dental hygienist. I’d never heard of this with a top-​notch Beverly Hills dentist before. Best cleaning ever!
Lupe, her dental assistant, did do the mold for my teeth whitening trays. But she was nice and gentle and did a great job. The tray fits perfectly.
A little side note for parking… there is a free, two hour lot on Beverly not too far from the building.

I have been a patient of Dr. Woss for the past ten years. I will never see any other dentist. She always provides excellent care. I am greeted warmly and promptly. I have the best view of Beverly Hills from my chair. She does all the work herself. She advises me of all changes in my mouth and only recommends what is necessary. I am so happy to have her as my dentist!

I just had my first visit with Dr. Woss. It was great! I had been told by other dentists in Beverly Hills that I needed all my silver fillings taken out and changed to white ones, which would cost thousands of dollars. She said that wasn’t necessary, and that I only needed two fillings and maybe a night guard if I clench my teeth. She did a great cleaning, and I am very happy I went to Dr. Woss. She’s awesome!

I have known and been a patient of Dr Woss for almost 15 years. Now my wife and our three kids go to her and absolutely love her! She is kind and sweet and an incredible professional. We are lucky to be patients of hers. I’ve never been a huge fan of any dentist, but she breaks the mold.

I retuned to Dr. Woss about a month ago to have her fix a crown that was bothering me. I hadn’t seen her in about 2yrs. She took xrays, found the problem, numbed me up, drilled at for awhile (of course I don’t know what she did) and even went back in to make sure I wouldn’t have additional pain all AT NO CHARGE. Although I’ve had to switch providers, I am so so very impressed that Dr. Woss stuck by her work and made the effort to fix my crown. I would strongly recommend her– its difficult to find honest practitioners with this kind of integrity!

Really confused as to why my 5 star review is only considered in «my reviews» and is filtered out of the ones for public consumption (or factored into her star rating). I asked her about this when I had my last visit (Thursday 5÷17÷12) and she told me that she believes this was a result of her refusal to buy ads on Unilocal after several harassing calls to her office. Shame on Unilocal.
Update: I’m so happy to see this review stand. If you’re unable to read my first filtered one, it says (basically) that my husband and I suffered through so many dishonest dentists that we have been beyond grateful to find Dr. Woss. I have recommended her to friends and co-​workers who are all just as happy with her. Great work, kind, soft-​sell approach that doesn’t leave one to feel obligated to get cosmetic procedures. I find it especially nice that she ALWAYS does her own cleanings… I feel like its done well, done gently and she knows exactly what’s going on in there.

I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before, but my excellent experiences with Dr. Woss have inspired me. My boyfriend recommended her to me when looking for a good dentist in the LA-​area a few weeks ago, but a few unfavorable reviews here made me hesitant. I went anyway, after finding out her office accepts my insurance, and was elated to find the bad reviews must have been exceptional cases.
Dr. Woss and her staff are friendly, informative, and clearly know what they’re doing. She used techniques for assessing the state of my mouth and cleaning that I’d never had another dentist use, and she worked with care to cause as little discomfort as possible for me. When she found a few cavities, she used a little camera attached to a TV screen to let me see exactly what she was talking about, which I thought was pretty nifty.
I had to schedule two follow-​up appointments to have the cavities filled, the latter of which I just returned from. Both procedures were as quick and pain-​free as one could ask for! Dr. Woss again made sure I was never in any pain, and the calm and ease with which she worked helped me to relax in an otherwise tense situation. I’m very satisfied with the work she did for me and plan to return to her for future dental check-​ups!
Additionally, her Beverly Hills office is immaculately clean and bright and tricked-​out with things like a massage chair in the waiting room and dozens of magazines. There’s free parking in a lot up the street, too.
