History

Established in 2015.

Founder Cedar Boschan has 14 years of experience holding major companies accountable to clients through innovative royalty audits in the music, video game and licensing industries.

Cedar also has a solid track record of providing damages, property and restitution valuations and expert witness testimony in the above sectors and with respect to general business disputes in a variety of industries. (For instance, Cedar has served as a forensic accounting and/​or industry expert in infringement, breach-​of-​contract and business dispute litigation matters in the video game, music, film, patent and food and beverage industries.)

During her career, Cedar worked at CPA firms including Wolinsky, Becker & Hurewitz, Miller, Kaplan & Arase, Hurewitz, Boschan & Co. and Green Hasson Janks. In 2015, due to client demand, Cedar founded Boschan Corp. in Beverly Hills.

Beyond Boschan Corp., Cedar Boschan is the national treasurer of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) and she has a blog, The Auditrix.

Cedar has spoken at South by Southwest (SXSW), the California Copyright Conference, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, Loyola Law School and the University of Southern California, among other events. Accounting Today, KTLA 5 News, MusicBizCast, The Los Angeles Business Journal and The Daily Journal have featured interviews of Cedar and she has served as a resource to Billboard and the Wall Street Journal.

Cedar holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry from the University of Southern California — 1995 – 1999, where her fields of study included:
