Specialties
Center for Discovery Beverly Hills is an integrated partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program that is dedicated solely to the treatment of individuals with eating disorders as a primary diagnosis. Our specialized program is personalized for each of our clients. At Center for Discovery, we understand eating disorder behavior and the underlying emotional issues of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and other complex disordered eating. Our core belief is that recovery is possible for individuals with eating disorders. Throughout our program, we maintain each client’s recovery community as they transition through the levels of eating disorder treatment at Center for Discovery, with the same treatment team.
History
Established in 1997.
Center For Discovery is driven by results and our goal is to provide the best, most effective eating disorder treatment in the field. To this end, we are partnered with the Feinstein Institute for Biomedical Research by examining the process of treatment, how clients fare post-discharge, and readmission rates. The data suggest that not only are improvements maintained, but that Discovery alumni continue to improve following discharge. Center For Discovery developed a proprietary program over the course of two decades which means that both evidenced-based and individualized treatment is provided to every client. Our Discovery Connect program keeps families and outpatient professionals involved every step of the way. At Center For Discovery, the emphasis on long-term recovery is not only about the diagnosed issues, it is about the contributing factors that underlie those conditions. 95% of clients and families recommend Center For Discovery.
