The Los Angeles colorectal surgeons (formerly known as proctologists) specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the rectum, anus, colon, and pelvic floor (proctology).

Business Owner

Eiman Firoozmand, M.D. is an attending surgeon in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Cedars-​Sinai Medical Center. He is the Clinical Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Dr. Firoozmand is also a member of the voluntary faculty at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Firoozmand’s main clinical and research interests involve optimizing outcomes and techniques in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign anorectal disease. These interests include the use of laparoscopic surgery and new techniques for hemorrhoidal surgery, such as the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH).

Dr. Firoozmand is board certified in colorectal and general surgery.
