I bought a Groupon because it was a great deal for a set of lashes and 5 fills ($ 139). Unfortunately, it didn’t end up such a good deal because I will never go back to get a fill. It was my first time getting lash extensions, so I didn’t realize it wasn’t normal that the installation only took 30 mins. She totally rushed thru it and they ended up clumpy in areas. Not to mention, you lay on the gross brown blanket with hair and fuzz that isn’t changed between clients nor does it look like it was ever washed. The lashes looked ok at first but were really hard and cheap. They starting falling out in clumps along with my real lashes. It’s like she used super glue to put them on! Now my real lashes are ruined– tons of them are gone and the lashes I have left are literally half the length they used to be. Can’t wait for my lashes to grow back. Don’t ruin your lashes by going here!

I initially had my eyelashes done here and loved them. I went back multiple times for fills. However, I was out of town and needed them filled. So I went somewhere where they looked closely and realized that she was cutting my REAL eyelashes instead of properly removing them! My eyelashes were so short that I had to continue to get fake eyelashes for a few months until mine grew back in! I naturally have long eyelashes and was using fake one temporarily! When I confronted her, she denied it! Terrible!!! DO NOT GO HERE! She clearly has no professionalism or cares about aesthetics, health, or beauty!

If I could give negative stars I would. I did not get my eyelashes done here because I refused to allow someone as disrespectful as this owner was to me, anywhere near my face. First off, I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, and not only was I not greeted, but she ended up having me wait 15 minutes before telling me she overbooked. I explained that I was going out of town and that this was my only day I could get my eyelashes done. She said I could wait, but it would be awhile. I then explained that I made my appointment weeks ago, and I was also early for my appointment. She told me, «you can leave «I asked her if this is how she conducts business and she responded, «with people like you» I politely left before I ended up having to call my friends to bail me out of jail. Please please please do NOT waste your time going here.

This place is very unprofessional, very rude and it’s not a good look at all! Not only did I witness this woman go off on a potential client of hers for an error on her companies end — I did not like the turn out of my lashes. All together bad experience! Read the Unilocal reviews! They don’t lie!

If I could put a negative star I would. I have had my lashes done a couple times before where i live but I was out of town and decided to try a new place. Worst mistake of my life. My lashes are so disgusting. Not only were they rude but they don’t know what they are doing. After one week my lashes are falling out and not just one at a time but they are clumped together. She put the lashes right by my eye and a couple of them were rubbing my eye and irritating it. My eye would not stop burning and when I called her she told me it was my fault that I must have rubbed them. Unless you are fine with not having eye lashes I would go somewhere else.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND A WASTE OF MONEY! Don’t do it! She’s extremely unprofessional and rude! I would rather throw my money away than to get a service from her! Read the reviews they are consistent for a reason!

Made an appointment a few weeks ago, show up 15 mins early come to find out YUMI is nowhere to be found. I call her and txt her, turns out she’s at home and «didn’t know» she had another appointment. Extremely unprofessional. Waste of time and money.

UPDATE: 09÷04÷15 –
So the first time I try to schedule a refill I have to do only in text. (only way Yumi responds) I was getting nervous because I was leaving on vacation soon and really needed to get this done. Finally, she responds and gives me an appointment to come in. I asked her in the text to do the lashes more fuller because they came out rather quickly (and in clumps) and I wanted them to last while doing the big olé vaca for a week. She confirmed the appointment and I showed up. She was finishing up with another woman and then I went in.
First and foremost, it was the end of the day, the fur blanket that was on the chaise was covered in fuzz, other women’s hair and I felt a bit uncomfortable even laying there.
This time there was no relaxing music, in fact she asked for me to be still (i was not moving, only talking)
I asked her to make them fuller and I would pay the difference, she didn’t respond.
I tried to explain I was going to be in Florida where there is humidity, extreme heat waves, plenty of rain and lots of beaches, she didn’t respond.
She seemed hurried, the process seemed very different and I felt cheated.
She heard the door ring with another customer and then even sped up more. I didn’t get a sealer put on, she literally gave me a fan and asked me to sit in the waiting room with it so she could take care of another client (i’m sorry what did you just ask me to do?) and then this other woman walked in who she became rude with stating she never confirmed an appointment («i text confirm, i did not text you confirm ») even though she offered one to the woman. The woman confused looked a bit distraught as Yumi kept telling her she couldn’t see her and that she had another «paying» customer. (Really? don’t we all pay?)
I just got up and left after leaving her an undeserved tip and decided to never go back. I think Yumi is frustrated with the Groupon ad she has listed and is taking things out on the customers.
Sadly, this will effect her in the long run. I am terribly sad this ended badly, I hate leaving terrible reviews but this needs to be noted to all who are tempted to pay the lower price and think they are getting a «great deal» — just, don’t.
I am sad to see that a lot of women had a difficult time with their lashes and that is horrible however, I had an amazing experience with Yumi and I am very glad I went to see her on a referral.
She takes a lot of time with you, she is very detailed and precise and she explains everything before and after the process. She plays soft relaxing music and it was an all around great experience. I was hesitant at first but I am more than pleased with my lashes and even have a colleague who paid almost twice what I did and was shocked at the comparison and how natural they looked.
I highly recommend Yumi to anyone wanting a great lash look for a great price. She is very accommodating and got me in within a few days of the call. It does take a day or two for her to get back to you but do not get frustrated she gets a high volume of calls and has a lot of clients so she does her best to get you in on your best time/​schedule.
I am sure my first refill will be just as great, but I will let you know if it is any different Unilocalers :)

Tried several attempts to book an appointment. First time she was a no show — wasting my time, gas, and parking money. Second time made an excuse about construction. Another time she was sick. I ended up being so frustrated that I could never get in I just asked Groupon for a full refund which they gave me. There’s no way I would have been able to get a full set with the refills in if she never shows up. Don’t bother. She obviously has too many clients to fit you in.

She was very rude with the customers, by message and personally. Eyelashes eyes made me hurt for three weeks, work badly done. I do not recommend!

Never had eyelash extensions before & they were coming out in clumps!!! Now I have no eyelashes! Horrible! I don’t even want to give one star! Can’t believe this, not worth it!

Yumi is a sweet girl and the lashes look great AT FIRST but her method is no good. I’m left with like NO lashes after they all fell out due to giant clumps being glued together. also the lashes are SOOOO HARD AND CHEAP! A strip of falsies is softer than that crap she uses. I actually got one IN MY EYE! Imagine how much a regular lash bugs being in your eye but now it’s LIKE A HARD LITTLE PLASTIC! So painful! I probably scratched my cornea because I still experience some pain like if I had dirt in there ever since. Not worth it. Im just going to buy Latisse FO REAL!

Lashes looked great on the first day. Then they started falling out in clumps. Just like other reviewers. I have a few left and it’s been a week. Maybe I should have asked for individual lashes rather than the cluster ones? Not sure. I won’t be back. Yumi was super sweet though :(

Listen to other reviews, don’t go there. I should have believed the review. Yumi glued my lashes together into a clump.

ps… why do people still keep going to her when she obviously sucks??? she has so many complaints because she glues clumps of lashes together, and for me personally, i couldn’t open my right eye the next day and had to take work off to fix it at another salon!
please don’t be dumb people… check these reviews!

horrible place and no customer service at all. cannot believe this place still open. I am so mad at this place. I didn’t get my service but they still charged me. I dont really care about the money now. I just dont want to deal with this crap place again. AVOID this place

I would give this place 0 stars but unfortunately I can’t. She has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I booked an appt 4 hours away from when I called. I had to cancel an hour later because my mom’s flight was very delayed so I had to pick her up close to the appointment time. When I tried to book again she told me I could not use the lash refill that was ALREADY PAID FOR because of the «you have the give 24 hour notice to cancel» rule. She booked the appt that was 4 hours away so giving 24 hours notice would be IMPOSSIBLE. She needs to work on customer service if she wants to move out of that crappy hole in the wall.
I’m moving over to Star Lashes. They do Kylie Jenner and a bunch of other people. They are a little more expensive but I love pretty eyelashes!

DON’T GO !!! She glued all the lashes together one on top of the other! She just wants to make it fast without caring. And when I told her what happened she responded in a very rude way! My eyes were hurting so bad because of the eyelashes! I’ve been having fake eyelashes for the past 2 years and I’ve never had this problem! She is just NOT GOOD! DON’T GO!

I was horrified with my eyelashes. Too much glue and too many lashes glued on top of each other. I thought the lashes looked fine. but they sure didn’t feel fine.
I felt that it was rushed. She had back to back clients. My session was an hour for a full set. Too short. I don’t know why yumi asked me to hold the fan near my eye. She rushed me to get off the bed. I don’t know why, if she had the other client one the other bed. I can’t explain it.
I had to get the lashes removed professionally a week later. Clumps of my lashes were falling out.
When I got my lashes removed, the technician told me 20 of my lashes were glued together. It took 35 mins to take them all off. It was a struggle to get them removed.
I attached a picture to show how a lash was falling out. Never again. Groupon deal is too good to be true. I guess u get what you pay for.

I have been going to Yumi for almost a year now and I am a big fan of her work. She is always accommodating, (even last minute when I have been desperate for my lashes)…
She is very meticulous and her application is very precise. I get compliments all the time on how «real» my lashes look. Thank you Yumi for your professionalism, work ethic and art work — I will always recommend your place! xoxo
