Disgusted! The only word to describe my overall experience! Too bad they don’t spent more time and energy taking care of existing patients instead of constantly focusing on the phony Hollywood glitz needed to bring in new ones to replace the fleeing! I went there for a few years before I discovered I was paying top dollar for what ended up to be less than standard work costings me way to much time in return visits to correct sloppy mistakes.
Even the well meaning employees who try to take care of you are jerked away to another room for someone possibly richer or more famous than you. Or, maybe it just boils down to an overburden practice trying desperately to cover a high rent location. I’m on my way to find someone to correct their hurried work. I would NOT recommend this practice to my friends at all!
Maybe if I paid a lot of celebs to get their pictures taken standing next to me, I could be a dentist?!

I went to Dr. Sands, after looking to get some cosmetic improvement for my perfect teeth.
As a 58 year old with all my teeth intact not even one cavity or filling ever, I wanted to protect my teeth as I aged. I did not like the color change in the past 2 years and the space/​gaps in some places. My teeth were straight and excellent otherwise.
I was looking for the best, and I found one.
After looking at other Dr.‘s work and pictures of before and after, I decided to work with Dr. Sands and get 8 top veneers.
I heard good and bad things about the Dr. and had to find out myself if any were true.
I am happy to report that the bad reviews were proven wrong in my case…
I was greeted and treated by the wonderful staff, that by now feel like family to me.
Every one is so accommodating and professional, the place is clean and spotless.
Dr. Sands assistants are as knowledgeable and trained as they can be. They are gentle and compassionate and do a great job.
Dr. sands is a great cosmetic dentist and I would now trust him to take care of my teeth for life.
It is very easy to take an ugly mouth with bad teeth and show improvement, it is much harder to take great teeth and make them better… that is where the artist Yogi did his part.
I am so happy with my results.
The only side effect from the treatment… I will now get more wrinkles due to smiling…

Most people fear going to the dentist. When your dentist is Dr. Sands, that fear goes away. The office environment is great and the staff are all super sweet and great at what they do. Dr. Sands gives the best treatment of any dentist I’ve ever tried. I recently went in for a teeth whitening and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist, whether it is just for basic cleanings or for more intense procedures/​surgeries, look no further than Dr. Sands!

Not quite sure how this man is in business. I agree with the other reviews that he seems more like a used car salesman than a dentist. He’s quite rude and has very poor bedside manner. He fails to answer any of your actual questions and diverts to other topics which leads me to question if he even knows what he’s doing. The most concerning thing to me was the fact that he seemed either hung over or high (possibly both). I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Had the worst experience at this dentist office, just like the other poster stated «dr sands is disgustingly pushy» and has the worst attitude. After having a disagreement with this man, because he did not want to do his job, and charged me 29 k total for 9 veneers. expected to be treated kindly and leave satisfied today. I’m sure anyone that spends this amount of cash wants a dentist to work on their teeth and not the dental assistant ! From the moment I entered this office it was a bad experience. If I wanted dental assistants to do the job I might as well have called 1800 dentist And not have wasted this large sum of money at your office. You practiced discrimination in my case .He was upset that I thought the veneers he made were too bulky and long and and not the color I requested so After going back and fourth with him about my dislikes he got annoyed and said he was not the dentist for me and to take my money back and I said fine. I’m glad he offered. His attitude is nasty and I had to get out of this narcissistic dentist office Asap ! He asked me to sign my rights away before giving the check back, and I was left with temporary fake teeth for the second week ! the temps broke causing food to get trapped and I can’t go back to this office to fix ! This is a big problem ! the bite is off and I’m in A Lot of pain that he ignored to treat. it’s hard to eat and now I have to find someone Asap to finish this mans dirty work. Thanks for returning my money. You don’t deserve it anyway !! Moral of the story. Do Yourself a favor and Find a dentist with integrity.

Top notch dentists, a stellar hygienist solely dedicated to teeth cleanings and absolutely UNPARALLELED client service lead by Janina, who might be one of the most helpful and accommodating professionals I’ve encountered in any business, on any level. From front desk to Dr. Sands himself, this group is exemplary!

By far the best Dentist I’ve ever had — by a long shot.
I’ve been going to Dr Kevin Sands for the past 4+ years, and couldn’t be happier. His attentive staff, office environment (relaxing), and state of the art technology make me feel like I’m getting the best treatment available.
Having had major dental work done in the past, I’m not too trustworthy of new Dentists, but when my previous doctor retired — I was forced to get a referral. Enter Doctor Sands into the picture, ironically he’s even better than my previously trusted Dentist and has gone above and beyond to ensure that I receive the best quality care imaginable.
Not to mention the occasional celebrity dental emergency sightings that I’ve been exposed to (don’t worry Doc, my lips are sealed).
Seriously, if you want the best Dentist in this hemisphere — go see Dr Sands and his team.

This place is awesome! Starting from the staff everyone is helpful and pleasant. Dr. Kevin and Stephanie are truly amazing experts in their practice. Bring your kids here I promise you won’t regret it.

I can’t say enough about how AWESOME Dr. Sands is as a cosmetic dentist! Not only he is a down-​to-​earth nice guy, his work is incredible. I have seen other dentists and they always compliment my veneers and asked where I got them. He’s the best, and worth every penny and then some! I would say 99.9% of people can’t believe my teeth are veneers, they look that good! Everybody thinks I was born with this beautiful smile. Thank you DR SANDS!

After years of dental fear I was recommended about 8 years ago to Dr. Kevin Sands and his wonderful staff. Since going to him that fear has been completely removed. Never did I think my smile could look like this.
Being in the entertainment industry the first thing people see is your smile, and Kevin understands this. I would not trust anyone else besides his staff and for 8 plus years I have been traveling to him no matter where I am. I have referred numerous other clients to his office and am constantly told how great my smile is now. This wouldn’t have been possible without Kevin.

I’ve been wanting veneers for my entire adult life. Because I’ve gone to mostly general dentists, and not cosmetic specialists, individual crowns I’ve had done don’t look as good as I want them to and when I point it out to them they have no idea what I’m talking about. Obviously this makes me unwilling to trust them with a cosmetic procedure of any kind.
I’ve put off seeing a cosmetic dentist because I’ve seen people with veneers that look way too bulky and unnatural (think Denzel Washington) and I wanted to make sure I chose my doctor based on a referral. I know that picking the correct dentist to do it is the same as picking out your plastic surgeon. You can look like you’ve had work done (by a bad doctor) or look like you were born with beautiful teeth by an excellent one.
In the course of the past several years I’ve come across 3 or 4 of Kevin Sand’s patients. All have been actresses or models that had stunning smiles and I had no idea they had work done until they confessed that he had done full mouth veneers for them. I asked some of my clients who know the Beverly Hills area and he’s known as the premier dentist for any high profile person wanting to change their smile but not have it become glaringly obvious that they did. Think actors and actresses in all the shows you watch on TV.
I finally came in for my initial consultation this week. As soon as you walk into this office you realize it’s unlike any dental office you’ve ever been in. It’s like a movie set in there. From the initial phone call with Meagan who was able to book me sooner than the long wait they have, to the front office staff who were so friendly, to Dr. Sands himself. It was first class all the way.
Dr. Sands himself is amazing. I felt like I’d finally found a dentist who understood what I wanted for my smile and was actually capable of achieving it. He went into detail about what sets him apart from any other dentist in the world. We worked out a treatment plan and I’m currently looking to finance it with Care Credit which I was surprised to hear he does for patients since he gets so many who can just afford it without financing.
Overall I had the best experience with his office and I would highly recommend going to see him before you have any cosmetic dental procedure done. I’m so happy I found him and can’t wait to have my new smile.

Just moved from Encino to BH and decided to find a dentist office closer to me and get my teeth whitened. Everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming. And now my teeth are pearly white and it was painless :) def will be going to this dentist office from now on.

After moving back to LA from New York, I couldn’t find a dentist that I could trust. They were all too rough, or rushed me through consultations, which made me feel like a wallet and not a person. FINALLY, a friend referred me to Dr. Kevin Sands. What an experience it was the moment I walked in.
The office is gorgeous, sleek and modern. Everyone at the front desk was smiling and incredibly polite. They were able to answer all of my questions in regards to the teeth whitening process. Most receptionists are so overwhelmed with the heavy flow of calls, but they juggled phone calls, greeting clients, getting refreshments for anyone waiting in the lobby and getting clients through the door to see the doctor, ALL WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACES. Cool, calm and collected. They made me feel incredibly comfortable with the teeth whitening process before I got into the chair.
I was greeted by Dr. Sands in the lobby, WHAT A GENTLEMAN! Beautiful, perfect smile and very hospitable. He gave me a warm handshake and already knew who my friend was that had referred me. He walked me back into the room and thoroughly explained what the process consisted of. I was really nervous because I have heard teeth become so sensitive after being bleached. He calmed me down with a few jokes and simply had a conversation with me, which made me feel more at ease, and that he actually cares about his patients.
During the teeth whitening, which took about 40 minuets, the hygienists kept coming in to check on me, and changed the channel on the television to keep me entertained and my mind off the process. They were all so gentle with applying and removing everything.
Dr. Sands noticed that my wisdom teeth were coming in, he gave me a complimentary x-​ray to see if they needed to be removed. He referred me to another doctor for the procedure. I mean, what a doll!
I have to say, between the view from the window, the ambiance of the office, the employees and Dr. Sands… I’m won over! They exceed any expectations I had going in. They even have Dr. Sands water bottles, how adorable are they?

I just moved to LA last year and have been trying to find a reliable dentist, so a friend recommended Dr Sands. I went in today with pretty high expectations after her recommendation, and I have to say those expectations were well exceeded. This is one of the most inviting clinics I’ve ever visited. Every single person in the office beamed with joy — from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to Dr Sands himself. I felt so welcome and was treated as though I’d been visiting the clinic for years.
I spent most of my time with Magaly who is an absolute angel. I hate needles but I could easily go back to her for more injections. She was so gentle and knew exactly how to minimize any discomfort. She also really took the time to explain everything she was doing while she was doing it. Magaly literally turned what is usually an uncomfortable experience into a fascinating one — I learned a lot about my teeth!
I’ve always been terrible at going for regular checkups because I’ve never had an enjoyable experience at the dentist before — but now I’m actually looking forward to my next visit! I highly, highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Kevin Sands office for 3 years, and he and his staff have been the absolute best providers of dental care I have ever met. Here’s why:
— The office is highly efficient — I have never once waited for my appointment.
— Dr. Sands and his staff are exceedingly kind, concerned about their patients’ general health and wellbeing, and very conscious of general dental angst – they always go out of their way to explain everything thoroughly and put me at ease.
— Dr. Sands and his staff are meticulous, smart, and incredibly skilled. He is a perfectionist. There is never any pain during the procedures, and never any rough edges or any problems with them whatsoever. I am consistently impressed by their attention to detail, their focus during a procedure, and kindness throughout.
I use to dread going to the dentist –but every time I go into their office, Dr. Sands and his staff make my day. He is hilarious and the whole staff have a great personality and sense if humor. I feel at home. I never want to deal with going to a different dentist ever again. The work I have had by Dr. Sands has made me feel so much more confident I am constantly smiling wherever I go.
These guys are the best!

Not a good experience. Period.

Truly WOW… no doubt Dr. Sands is an exceptional dentist, truly first class dental office — I recommend his office very highly — it is beautiful, clean, modern décor and equipment. For people who are VERY fearful of getting dental work done like myself, no pain but plenty of gain whenever I need treatment. Dr. Sands is a grade A proffesional at his craft. The staffs are very friendly, proffesional, and fun atmosphere; and are extremely excellent in their field; I never have to wait too long and felt comfortable through the entire process. Overall service he has changed my outlook on dentists together. At the end of the day, you not only pay for quality but truly down to earth people, that is a PLUS. Thank you again Doc. I am looking forward for my next appt !

A) the actual guy who makes/​measures the veneers, asian guy – NOT
, is a complete artist… probably some of the best I have found after years of research… why he gets no credit? I dunno, being he’s the one who does the actual artistry in this office.
B) BUT If you are not a celebrity, have a sugar-​daddy, wealthy family, or great husband, or are independently wealthy somehow… you can’t afford this man. He WILL try to manipulate u to get many more teeth done than u can afford or originally went to see him for…
C) had to fight tooth and nail to my $ 5000 back when I decided I could not afford all the extra bs he was insistently trying to convince me to get. So, I decided it was too much pressure, and they declined to honor the original quote when I had paid them. I’m still not even sure if they credited the $ 5000 back being I was given zero proof of it by anyone in the office, and had closed that account, bs!
D) one of his staff members saw my earlier review and tried to manipulate me to change what I stated (that he looked like he has been on a bender the night before, several times when I had seen him) with free services posing as Dr. Sands… I DO NOT like being lied to or manipulated for the sake of his ego, pocketbook, or reviews… I give her kudos for her manipulation tactics, she had me going for a minute, but as soon as I changed my review upon her insistence, crickets… which sets off my bs detectors!!!
Upside…Staff is kind, office is easy going, many amenities, and relaxed, and yes —this office does treat you as if you were like an A-​lister, being you may expect snobs for all of the celebrities that do walk into the office daily…

I wanted to share my 5 star experience with Dr. Sands. I had veneers done 10 years ago I was living in Arizona at the time so I had them done by a well respected cosmetic dentist in Scottsdale. I had recently traveled back to have my cleaning and they said I needed to have some fillings replaced. They didn’t have the time to do it that day and I wasn’t about to fly back just to get that done.
So I was referred to Dr. Sands only 10 minutes from where I live in Los Angeles. I had heard glowing reviews about him so I knew I would be in good hands. His office staff is exceptional. Justin was very helpful and got me scheduled in right away. When I went in for my appointment I told them my other dentist said I needed some fillings. They proceeded to take some X-​rays to determine where the work needed to be done. Not only did they discover that my other dentist was incorrect on which teeth needed the work, they found that I had an infection under one of my veneers that would need treatment. He also noticed the veneer that had the infection under it was bulky and higher than the rest and suggested we replace it to better match the rest. I completely agreed and said that it was something I had noticed for awhile. So they got me scheduled for all the necessary appointments. All of his assistants and hygienists were amazing. They made sure I was comfortable and informed on the entire process. My teeth are now in great shape and the new veneer blends perfectly with the rest now. I will continue to visit Dr. Sands for my routine cleanings from here on out. A big smiling thank you!

This office is very nice and upscale. You don’t feel like you’re at a mom and pop upstairs dentist. I’ve been a regular for cleaning for a year now and I still love this office. Magali and Dr. Khan do a great job all the time and I always leave with clean teeth!
Pro: I love the text message and email reminders of the appointments!
Con: I drive from the valley and it takes a while (but worth it).

As good as it gets! I called the office a couple weeks ago to gather more information on cosmetic dentistry for my mother’s veneers and all my questions were answered in a very simple answer! I talked to Justin and he had a very warm vibe. I unfortunately live too far away :’(Everyone should go!

Wow what an amazing office, everything is so high tech and comforting. I am not a fan of the Dentist, but when I came here they made me feel so relaxed and worry free it was incredible. I reccommend this office to everyone. Dr Sands. is the best!

I came in feeling very uneasy and unsettled but the staff made my experience very warm and welcoming. I would recommend Dr. Sands.

Let me start off by saying that this is some «Next Level» service. I walked in to the office and immediately a person greeted me, knew who and what I was there for once I mention my name. (must admit it felt kind of nice to be greeted in such a manner).
My appointment was at 10am, I was in the dentist chair 5 minutes later. The people were so polite (seemed like a happy place to work by the looks on the staffs faces).The facility was emmaculate (I have a phobia about this. I am sure its all in my head but its very improtant to me).
The doctor was very hands on unlike other places I have gone. I found him to be very professional and accommodating.
I don’t like going to the dentist, but I felt completely at easy with the doctor and his wonderful staff.
I love it when it when people take pride in their work, not to mention MY TEETH LOOK FANTASTIC…

Kevin, you did a good job, here is my feedback. Man, pain was killing me I was eating painkillers as M&M’s. I made an appointment and couple hours… and I can smile again:)
Update, their office have good customer service I just got letter 5% discount for next whitening procedure.

Dr Sands is an awesome dentist! I have been a patient under his care for several years. He and his staff deserve five stars for the quality of service. Dr Sands is quite quirky and calming at the same time. This makes almost everything about going to the dentist enjoyable.
He really enjoys his job and you can tell be the way he gets very excited to work on your mouth. He has always told me that his goal is to make my teeth and mouth into a work of art. He is meticulous in his technique and very caring. I’ve had numerous fillings, a crown and a root canal with absolutely no problems. He explained what was going on and always answers my questions, I have always had fantastic experiences at this office.
