Business Owner

Prior to establishing his own law practice, Jacob gained significant experience in California labor and employment law while practicing in the employment litigation departments of both a well-​respected, boutique business law firm based in Los Angeles and a large, international law firm, with more than 2400 lawyers practicing in 35 offices on five continents.

Jacob is an experienced and highly-​skilled employment law practitioner. He has represented California employers in litigation involving allegations of wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and discrimination based on age, race, sex, national origin, and disability. Jacob also has defended employers in administrative proceedings before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, among other administrative agencies. He has drafted employee handbooks and other personnel forms, prepared employment agreements, and counseled employers.
