Melonie did such a wonderful job. Her technique and the quality of wax that she uses reduces the pain immensely, which is so important because I have very sensitive skin. The location is convenient and she is incredibly welcoming. Her prices are unbeatable and free parking is available. I recommend Melonie to any and everyone. Her service is at the quality of a highly ranked spa, with a welcoming atmosphere, and prices unheard of for LA.

Malonie is honestly the best in town. Pain free and redness free. She does everything so carfully and with love. She really cares about her clients. I always leave her office with a smile on my face. I am the biggest baby and I hate pain, but with Malonie I don’t even feel it. I had my eyebrows done at a manicure salon and they completly ruined my eyebrows! I came into Malonies and she fixed it so beautifully. I would recommend coming here, you will look and feel like a brand new person. She does electrolysis as well :)

Malonie K. Banen Waxing & Electrolysis is «THE» place to go for hair removal! Having tried many different places in the LA area, I would definitely and honestly say that this place is the BEST! It’s very clean, very affordable, and very professional. Malonie is precise and on point with all waxing appointments that I’ve had with her. Everything is so close to perfect and she’s so efficient. I appreciate that more than anything! I have tried other places for Brazilian waxes and they are never as close to painless like MKB! I mean it will still hurt a little… it’s called waxing! Haha. But this place is as close to no pain as you can get! Malonie is extremely sincere and so sweet to her clients. I am glad I found this little Beverly Hills gem years ago!

I’m honestly surprised that Malonie doesn’t have more reviews. I’ve been getting waxed by her since I was 16 and it never crossed my mind to search for her on Unilocal.At the expense of dating myself, I found her back in the pre-​Yelp days of 2005 as the Best Brazilian Wax in L.A. at the time in an issue Allure magazine and never looked back. Her waxing is affordable, painless, efficient, and FAST. One time I timed her for the sake of my own curiousity. I was in and out the door in 10 minutes. That included the time it took me to get in lobby, up the elevator, into her salon, back down the elevator, and out of the building. Seriously. My boyfriend was still circling the block for parking.

I found Malonie under Livingsocial and came in for a Brazilan, underarms and legs waxing. I’ve done underarms and Brazilan, but was nervous with legs. Thank goodness it didn’t hurt! Both my legs and underarms felt so smooth afterwards and my legs didn’t hurt. Though, after I finished showering, I had to wipe down my legs with baby wipes to get off the remaining wax residue, and there was quite a few.
The Brazilan — she’s quick and efficient, but rough! Usually, it feels like a small electric shock, but dang, my body jumped a couple of times. I should’ve took some Tylenol before going. Though she did a great job in getting all the hair and strays out, but damn… luckily, I had enough pain tolerance to get through.
Street metered parking behind Chase Bank, and it’s free after 6pm. I didn’t see the entrance to park at her building. Nor was the parking lot attendant even there and so I meter parked to prevent getting a ticket or towed.
Great wax lady in Beverly Hills, and next time, take some Tylenol before coming again, lol!

Malonie really made the experience a comforting one! Her office is in an excellent location in Beverly Hills and her work station is very clean and organized. I could tell that she really made an effort to make it as quick and painless as possible, which I appreciated!
She also offers a great deal when you check-​in on Unilocal which makes it all even more appealing.

Malonie is the best in Los Angeles! I’ve been going to her for over 14 years and she is both the least expensive and the quickest. She will always fit you in if she can and welcomes you with a smile. Her place is clean and you can park behind Chase on the street at the meters.

Malonie is amazing. Not only was it one of the least painful waxing experiences I’ve had, she is quick, thorough and efficient. I was in and out in a little over 10 minutes, which is worth a lot considering there isn’t much parking in the area and one of the only options is the garage in the building which charges by 10 minute increments. Everything was super clean and reasonably priced — I’d definitely go back.

Her suite is very clean, prices are quite reasonable (especially for Bev Hills) and she is always professional. I highly recommend making an appointment with her for your hair removal needs!

Parking can be a little tricky around that area but if you time it right you can find street parking. And don’t pay for an hour… this woman is fast and professional. You can literally be in and out in 20 minutes. LOVE that. Highly recommend. Studio is clean and you’ll feel super comfortable. Relax. Malonie is awesome.

I am so glad I bought this Living Social deal. It introduced me to this awesome place and I am very pleased. Making an appointment was such a breeze. She personally answered, made the appointment for the same day,).
I was running 15 minutes late. I called her a few minutes to inform here I was going to be late. Gave her an estimated time and she did not get upset.
The place is on Wilshire in between Rexford Dr and Crescent Dr. Next to Chase Bank and a printing center. The building is nicely well maintained. Her suite is on the 5^th floor (Suite 501) a left when you’re exiting the elevators. And her place is small and clean. You can tell she likes to be detailed. Which is a plus for me!
The room she takes you in is nice with an open view of the beautiful skyline of Beverly Hills.
Malonie made me feel such at ease. Told her hadn’t done this in a long time and she told me not to worry.
She was quick. No double dipping. And kept giving me great pointers. By the time I knew, she was done! Total time was 15 – 20 minutes. Told me I had some ingrown hairs and was very detailed with the clean up.
I am very satisfied and I believe she has a new loyal client!

I’ve been going to Malonie for Electrolysis for about 2 years now and I have to say, she is the best! She is so kind and gentle and tries her best to make a somewhat painful situation better!
I would highly recommend her if you’re thinking about trying electrolysis. I had my hair get much worse after I did laser and she’s made such a difference for me.

Electrolysis Review–
Unwanted facial hair… lets face it we are not perfect. I had an uncomfortable amount of chin hair. I hate to even talk about it but Melonie deserves the credit for getting rid of my unwanted embarrassing hair! Electrolysis is painful but beauty is pain and Melonie is fast and very professional.
I WOULD COMPLETELY RECOMMEND ELECTROLYSIS OVER LASER!
I have a lot of friends that went the laser rout and did not get the results I got with Melonie.

I have been waxing since I was very young. Malonie is the best! You are in and out in 15 min. she is not only great at what she does she take a real interest in her clients and is super sweet I love seeing her every month.
