Mentor Language Institute offers English as a Second Language (ESL), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), and English for Specific Purpose (ESP) instruction that meets the needs of students and empowers them with a lasting ability to use English successfully in their academic, professional and personal pursuits.

History

Established in 2002.

MLI started in 2002. Since then, we have educated thousands of students from over 50 countries. Our main campus is located in the heart of Beverly Hills near Rodeo Drive. In the beginning we offered ESL and TOEFL programs only, but since then we’ve added Business English, Conversation, TOEIC, GRE/​GMAT and IELTS. Our newest campus (opened in 2013) is located in Hollywood near the world-​famous Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Over the years we have had the pleasure to help ESL students from all walks of life — college students, celebrities, and global professionals.

If you really want to study, and want to have high score through education. Don’t go there. I believe they are cheapest one in la. But not best one. Good choice to keep your F1.

I’m in TOEFL class and the teacher is very nice. The teacher, Kyle, is well prepared for class and very professional for TOEFL test. He is not only easy to understand but also humorous. So the class is difficult but I really enjoy to attend the class.

I love this language center. I think it is the cheapest one in LA and also has GMAT and TOEFL program. My teachers are so grate. One is Eden, one is Mike. Eden was a professional model before. She knows many business things and looks like my sister. I can talk to her whenever I have problems, and she can always answers and solves them. Mike was a brilliant actor. He can acts different accent from different countries and speaks Japanese very well. I’ve learned a lot from these two teachers. The staffs here are also very nice, warm and helpful. I’ve made many friends here already.
