Michael Kosdon, DDS

In my late 20s my mouth was in a very bad place. Didn’t have health insurance for most of my 20s and despite my best efforts my teeth were deteriorating rapidly.
An overbite was to have been corrected by braces at a young age but ended up with my top front teeth resting on my bottom front teeth and constantly chipping away the top teeth. The top teeth had been large almost buck teeth when I was a child to very small teeth that were only getting smaller.
All of this made me convinced that I would have seriously unhealthy teeth in my late thirties and probably follow my fathers foot steps of dentures at a young age. Everything came to a head about 5 years ago while traveling got a large abscess because of an infected tooth. The pain was unbearable and i couldn’t even sleep. I met Doctor Kosdon by recommendation who immediately took a look at my mouth and started a plan to fix it.
He got the hurting tooth back to health and we began working on my entire mouth at a rate in which I could afford and was able to explain that even if I was able to do it slow it would be getting done and we would make progress. Over time we would take a mouth that I thought was almost beyond repair and rehabilitate it into a, and it feels amazing to say, smile I can be proud of. The Doctor and his staff have been there with me every step of the way helping me keep motivated! Sherry and the rest of the staff are amazing. This place truly changed my life and I don’t know if there is any other business I can say that about! Thank you Doctor Kosdon!!!

I’m not sure where to begin, but to say that Dr. Kosdon is amazing. I have to agree with Nadja P’s comment about how she loves Dr. K and most people can’t say this about their dentist. If you’re his patient you will love him! He cares so deeply about what he does and my teeth look amazing. He’s incredibly caring and a gifted dentist. Sherry at the front desk is superb and his dental assistant Kristen is passionate about what she does as well. I recommend Dr. K so highly — 5 stars all around. Oh, and by the way, the office is so beautiful, great massage chair and if you get a little chilly they even give you a beautiful blanket –that’s incredible customer service on top of being a stellar dentist!!!

I have been going here for a few years… cleaning visits every two months and my teeth feel amazing (and I wear braces!)
It doesn’t hurt that their office is amazing and Sherry is such a sweetheart, plus that Dr K is so nice and caring (and I guess single! Ladies there’s a hint!), he always takes a look at my teeth and gives a quick check up even if I’m there just for a cleaning.
Even my husband goes and he hates going to the dentist.
Can everyone else out there say you love your dentist? No??? Okay, come to this one.

Sherry is great! My schedule can change at any given moment so when I had to reschedule she was pleasant and professional on the phone. A couple days later when I was at Dr. Kosdon’s office Sherry inquired about my listing appointment and actually took a sincere interest, amazing.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kosdon’s for about 4 years and can say he and his team are the best! He has a very calming and professional demeanor and his team of technicians and office staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. I always feel like I’m visiting old friends when I go in for an appointment! I have had quite a bit of work done to replace old silver fillings and my new crowns/​fillings look and feel flawless, and after every cleaning, my teeth and gums feel brand new. The new Beverly Hills office offers valet parking in the building and a beautiful modern office space with a gorgeous view!

With or without insurance, I have always had issues with the American Dental system. But I am very pleased to have met Dr. Kosdon at his new Beverly Hills office. The service and his staff were top notch. I truly believe my wife and I have finally found our Dentist for many years to come!

This a brand new office. It is beautiful. When I called, Sherry was very pleasant and professional on the phone. She was able to find an appointment for me at a time convenient for me. When I met Dr. Kosdon, I was pleasantly supprised at how pleasant and caring he is. Most of my previous LA dentists seem to want to poke around my teeth only and tell me how much it will cost. Dr. Kosdon examined me and explained everything in detail. Thankfully, I just needed a cleaning an replacement of an old filling that been bothering me for a few month.
The procedure was fast and painless. The tooth feels great and my smile is sparkling clean.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kosdon for over 10 years. He’s truly a fantastic dentist. He’s always taken time to explain my options for treatment and has never pressured me to make a particular decision. He’s performed several procedures and exams on me over the years and he’s always done so with a positive attitude and with great concern for my comfort. He’s a reasonable, smart man and I’m very proud to see him move into his new Beverly Hills location (which is gorgeously designed and features some spectacular views).
This review would not be complete without mentioning his incredible staff. His office manager Sherry is and has always been extremely pleasant and professional. His hygienists Laura and Amber are top notch — both very nice and knowledgable. And lastly, his assistant Kristen is a ray of sunshine. She makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable before executing her duties with grace and precision. If you’re looking for the best dentist in Los Angeles, look no further. Kosdon is the best.
