Dr. Bahat, Dr. Gordon and the staff there are the BEST ever. I have been going there for over 20 years. Dr. Bahat has done 2 surgeries on my gums due to deep pockets. I was NEVER EVER EVER in one moment of pain. This is a priority for him and his staff. He will not allow his patients to suffer for any amount of time. Many years ago, Dr. B told me I should see an orthodontist because he could tell my teeth were moving. He was 100% right. I went to an orthodontist and wore invisaligns! I have recommended Dr. B to friends and co-​workers. I would never go to anyone else but him. Also, if I had a big issue with my teeth, I would seek his advice. All the staff, including the hygienists are wonderful and professional. I get my regular quarterly cleanings there as well. When you go, you’ll notice that all the patients are happy there! If you want to keep your teeth forever, you’ll be in the best hands ever with Dr. B and his staff!

Hands down, you will have the BEST medical care possible with Dr. Bahat! Nearly a decade ago, my family dentist said I needed to see a periodontist and would most likely need gum surgery due to recession. I was refered by one of my best friends (a patient of Dr. Bahat’s for nearly 30 years). I was treated with respect and made to feel at ease the moment i sat in his office. The staff is kind and efficient (you talk to a human and never a machine), his nurse Reina was amazing (she even held my hand before the anesthesia before my surgery because I was so nervous!) and Dr. Bahat is one of a kind! In addition to being a leader in his field, he is warm, caring and made me feel so good about a surgery I was terrified to have.
Turns out, I had nothing to worry about. I had the surgery and was not in pain that wasn’t expertly managed by Dr. Bahat. He was available to me anytime I needed him. He gave me very specific instructions for optimum health and I followed everything he told me to do with military precision. Because of that, I haven’t had any problems since. I was just there today for my regular cleaning with Kim (also fantastic!) and was reminded why Dr. Bahat is the BEST! He has had the same patients for 30 years and the same staff since I’ve known him. Enough said.

I was recommended to Dr Bahat back in 2012 when I found out I had massive bone loss in the front of my mouth. The dentist I previously went to who applied my veneers never addressed my bone loss or periodontal work before my cosmetic work.
As a result I was in a very serious position due to my history which this dentist was well aware of before the work was done. He had recommended a periodontist in BH and after my visit was literally in tears. Fast forward to my friend recommending Dr Bahat! From the first moment meeting Dr Bahat I knew I was in amazing hands assuring me that I will ultimately have healthy gums again and be able to still have my beautiful smile. I had to have two surgeries and in between each surgery there was a six month healing process. I could not have my final cosmetic work done until my mouth healed completely. My cosmetic work was done by Dr Bob Rifkin who Dr Bahat works very closely with and treated me through out my periodontal work as well. Another amazing dentist!
As far as I am concerned Dr Bahat is a Rock Star and I was blessed to have been introduced to him. His staff was amazing as well and could not have done it with everyone’s kind and loving support.

I was referred to Dr. Bahat in 1985 by my dentist, Dr. Morton Feldbaum. Dental implants were considered experimental treatment at the time, and mine was a difficult case. Due to advanced bone loss, I eventually needed grafting, bone transfer from my lower to upper jaw, and, after healing, angular placement of implants to compensate for low bone mass. In all, Dr. Bahat has provided me with twelve dental implants, upon which my dentist Dr. Feldbaum has crafted and mounted permanent bridges and crowns. For the past 30 years, I have been under Dr. Bahat’s care for periodontal issues, with regular cleaning visits, yearly X-​rays and checkups.

The Impact on My Life
The impact of Dr. Bahat’s work on my personal, professional, and social life has been profound. I was able to continue a career in the corporate world and have credibility with my peers, the employees for whom I had leadership responsibility, as well as the leaders to whom I reported. To-​day, at age seventy-​one, I work for a community newspaper and have a computer consulting business for which I meet regularly with customers in their homes and offices.
And I still have a smile.
A few words about the experience of an office visit. The team at Dr. Bahat’s office is world class. His associate Dr. Jonathan (Johnny) Gordon is wonderful — highly skilled, helpful, abundantly good-​natured, and always available for an urgent consultation if Dr. Bahat is not available. Nurse Reina has been on staff from my first visit. As Dr. Bahat’s chief assistant, she has been warm and supportive of both me and my wife for these many years, in addition to being, of course, at the top of her profession. The Dental Hygienists are superb, as is the Front Desk staff, Courtney, Annette, and Samantha. Patients are warmly and professionally treated by the entire staff. The office is modern and cheerful, with a reasonably priced municipal parking garage a few feet from the office building’s front door.
My Recommendation
Dr. Bahat has done so much for me that I could never properly repay him. I can think of no stronger recommendation to give for Dr. Bahat than to say that he is a true mensch — a wonderful human being and a master in his field. It is an honor to recommend him.

I was told by my regular years-​long dentist that I needed to see a specialist regarding my upper back two teeth that were moving due to bone loss. (ahhh, aging!) He referred me to a periodontist whom I consulted. He seemed quite capable and professional. Being prudent, I thought I’d consult with ANOTHER specialist and I thought of Dr. Bahat as I knew of his practice through a friend. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the other doctor; but, upon meeting Dr. Bahat, I immediately knew that I could better trust him and his team to take superior care of me and my needs. He displayed deep expertise and a warm, calming nature that was very reassuring to me.
I required getting implants for those troubled teeth and the entire process was pain-​free on so many levels. I was obviously apprehensive and concerned about the procedure and just the sheer fact of my having to get implants was quite scary. This was dental surgery! However, all my fears were allayed by the professionalism, intelligence and experience of Dr. Bahat, Reina, the nurses and his front office personnel especially Courtney and Annette. I felt that there was no other team in the WORLD that could have completed a better job. They were genuinely concerned about my well-​being before, during and after.
I was never in any pain or inconvenience and now sport two solid, perfectly natural looking implants that should last me forever. I am pleased that I made the right choice. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Bahat and his team and highly recommend them.

As a child I fell and broke two teeth, causing root damage. As a result, I have needed a lot of work and have sought to be very conscientious in choosing dentists. Nevertheless, problems were still overlooked and treatment often unsuccessful. When I found Dr. Bahat, all that changed. Dr. Bahat is a perfectionist and an artist. My five implants and the bone grafting he has done have lasted over 20 years and now I am simply on a program of maintenance. I am incredibly grateful to him, his lovely staff, and his skilled hygienists. And even though I have been living in Manhattan for nine years, I continue to go to their wonderful office every year.

Dr. Bahat and staff are truly terrific! From the moment you walk in to when you leave, you’re greeted with excellent service and a friendly and comfortable environment. I have had extensive implant work done here and I can’t praise Dr. Bahat enough for the incredible work he performed. I couldn’t be happier with the results. He is an expert in his field. I’ve been to other dentists in the past that promised results and failed miserably until I discovered Dr. Bahat. The dental cleanings from the different hygienists are just as great too.
