Business Owner

Peter Hamon is the principal designer and planner of Peter Hamon Buildesign (PHBD), a boutique architectural and construction company offering professional design-​build services to discerning clients. As a builder for over twenty-​six years, he also retains the company’s official contractor’s license.

Starting as a humble construction laborer in Florida in the early ’70’s, then graduating to rough carpentry, he moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980’s and worked as a finish carpenter, earning his contractor’s license in 1985. In the late 1990’s, he attended the newly-​founded Los Angeles Institute of Architecture and Design, and completed studies in Architectural History at West Los Angeles College. Peter Hamon Buildesign offers clients a single professional design and build entity, neatly streamlining and expediting the planning and production of both residential and commercial projects.
