I am very happy with my surgery he made it look natural, Dr. Pincus is the best doctor ever!

It’s been over 2 years now so any swelling, healing, changing, etc has taken place. Since I can now say for certain this is the final result I am writing a final post. I am very upset about my surgery and need to find another surgeon to discuss further options. I fully understand nothing is perfect and nothing is symmetrical. However, I had TWO surgeries!!! The second was to correct a step at the incision site and uneven nostrils from my previous surgery with him (neither of which I had pre-​surgery). Being that I underwent surgery AGAIN to correct these issues you would think they would be resolved. Even after steroid injections my nostrils are still VERY uneven & because of how or where he stitched the incision it created a pocket on either side near the tip of the nose causing nose hair in that area to be super visible & separated from the rest of the nose, I have a hard bump on the bridge of my nose and a bulbous tip to boot. It ridiculously noticeable, especially in photos. I was adamant that only the profile would change, bc I had no problem with the front view. I was told my front view wouldn’t change and the change itself would be hardly noticeable. That my friends and family probably won’t even know I had anything done. Now my profile is ok and my front view is awful. It makes me really sad. Spending several thousand dollars to be unhappy & more self-​conscious isn’t what I had in mind. The doctor saw my original Unilocal post and printed it out prior to my last visit. He had it in hand and advised that he didn’t think he should work with me based on my comments. That he consulted a colleague of his and he agreed. He told me that in order for him to feel comfortable working me that I needed to delete my Unilocal post. I never deleted it and have never been back. I will need a THIRD surgery to fix his work and have no desire to even contact him or his office.
I have posted several comments for restaurants, doctors, entertainment venues, veterinarians, nail salons, etc etc. If you look at my history I typically post 4 – 5 star reviews, rarely do I rate a 3 or below. I know some Unilocalers come online to bash companies & leave awful reviews yet never have anything to say when they have a good experience. I am not one of those Unilocalers. This is an honest review based on MY experience. Thank you.

5 star on this man’s way of talking to you and making you feel comfortable. After reading horrible reviews of other top Plastic Surgeons in L.A. i finally decided to go with Mr. Pincus and won’t regret it. I want to get female feminization surgery and He didn’t try to tell me i needed extra surgery like a slimmer nose or cheekbones or more lips… he even told me that what i wanted was not even necessary and guided me to what he felt would be a more feminine look. He made me feel beautiful and in no rush. So i decided to keep him as my #1 choice now. Oh, and his assistant Wendi is a sweetheart. Ill update once surgery is done :)

Dr Pincus is truly the best! He gave me the most beautiful nose. He made it look so natural, know one can even tell I’ve had it done. He also tightened up my eyes which took about 10 years off me.
He is very professional, extremely skilled & the best. I’ve since had several of my friends see him to get revisions. Which have all turned out fantastic.
His staff is also great & easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Over the past several years, I had consulted with and had reconstructive surgery on my face and lips by a fine young surgeon, who stymied in his attempts to correct my considerable facial scar tissue, referred me to his former professor and renown plastic surgeon, Dr. Stephen Pincus. I have since had two extremely successful\ surgical procedures with Dr. Pincus that have restored my face to the best I have looked since an unfortunate car accident years ago that left me with many facial injuries. Dr. Pincus informed me of his hopeful surgical goals in each case, as well as the potential downside risks. In both cases he hit a home run, reaching and exceeding my best hoped for outcome. Though many factors, including my individual healing process, could affect the surgical results, I am convinced that Dr. Pincus’ experience, expertise, and finesse as a surgeon were the best predictors of favorable results. I can’t say enough about this brilliant man. I plan to keep him on retainer!

I had nose revision surgery 25 years ago with Dr. Pincus and it came out fantastic, after a supposedly highly-​regarded surgeon at the time did a terrible job. A few years later, I referred my husband to Dr. Pincus, and he did an amazing job on his nose, as well. My 17 year-​old daughter inherited my husband’s rather large, bridgeless nose, with a very deviated septum. She had her nose done by Dr. Pincus a month ago, and she is completely thrilled. He listened to what she wanted, and created an absolutely beautiful, completely natural-​looking nose. She looks like this was the nose she was born with, or at least should have been!
I truly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pincus. He is approachable, patient, answers every question with the utmost respect, and really listens to what his patients want. He explains what is realistic and what isn’t, and is a genuine perfectionist. I wouldn’t think of going to, or referring other people to, anyone else for anything on the face. As a bonus, his office manager/​assistant, Wendy, couldn’t be nicer or more helpful with all the details surrounding the appointment (s). A wonderful team!

I am absolutely convinced that Dr. Pincus is the best surgeon in his field. He truly cares about his patients and treats them like people, unlike other Doctors who treat you like the next number/​specimen. He is very passionate about what he does, which you can see through his work and when he speaks to you (the patient). He has innovated new ways of doing surgery and I am pretty sure he teaches at one of the top medical schools in Southern California. He is also an expert reviewer for the medical board. He has been in practice for over 30 years, but unlike other doctors who get stuck in the ways of the past, he continues to innovate. I had a previous surgery with a different doctor resulting in horrendous complications. Dr. Pincus not only fixed these issues, but the results were far beyond what I thought was possible. I would never go to anyone besides him, and would never let anyone I care about go to anyone else. Not to mention, you can get a hold of him very easily. I have had experience with other doctors where it takes a couple days (even after surgery). I never found myself unable to get a hold of him or without an answer to any of my questions — day or night. He even came in on a Sunday to take my bandages off because my surgery was on a Friday. Most doctors would have waited until the weekday and would have you haggling for appointments with their staff.

Dr. Pincus and his entire staff are very knowledgeable and thorough from the very first consultation through the entire after care follow up appointments. Dr. Pincus stands behind his work and has a great bed side manner as well. He is kind, caring and an excellent surgeon in his field. I highly recommend Dr. Pincus for any of your facial needs, or revisions. Thank you Dr. Pincus, you’re the best!

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!!! Dr Pincus preformed surgery 2 years ago on my eyes. I was not given any pre-​op instructions by his assistant and had major bleeding as a result of taking Advil, which I disclosed to him before surgery. He went ahead with surgery and I had months of painful injections, and permanent damage. He could have at lease given me a refund, but, we ended up in court, I won a judgement and with an attorney he won on appeal. Use a «specialist,» which he, is NOT.”
Also, very important to know!!! If you have bleeding, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, I shuld have never listenned to Dr. Pincus, when he told me to just ice. If I had, I would have had a repost, which I needed in court!

I finally decided to bite the bullet and have the facelift I had been considering for years. I interviewed three different Plastic Surgeons before choosing Dr. Pincus. I chose him because of his many years of experience, he had the best «before and after» photos of his previous work, he didn’t try to talk me into more surgery than I wanted and his prices were very reasonable. His demeanor is professional, low key and relaxed. He took his time with me and answered my many questions and I didn’t feel rushed.
The surgery went very well (surprisingly very little pain), I was back to my regular life within two weeks and I’m extremely happy with the results. His work is very natural looking — I don’t look different, I just look like I did 12 years ago:) I highly recommend him to anyone who is considering having any facial plastic surgery.
