We strongly believe parents/​caregivers are vital «team members» during the therapy process because parents/​caregivers are primary language facilitators. We are strong advocates of «Individualized Treatment Plan» because every person is unique with special needs and each therapy session should be individualized to meet those needs of client and family/​caregivers.

Thrive and Shine Speech Language Pathology Services is based in Los Angeles, California, providing in-​home and clinic-​based speech and language therapy to clients in greater Los Angeles.

History

Established in 2012.

We are committed to serving pediatric through geriatric population by helping our clients improve their communication skills in areas of speech/​articulation, phonology, tongue thrust, pragmatics (social), expressive language, receptive language, apraxia, dysarthria, voice, fluency, reading/​writing comprehension, auditory processing, cognitive deficits, dysphagia, dysaprthria, aphasia among other developmental/​acquired speech and language deficits.

Business Owner

Neda Rezapoor is a Licensed Speech-​Language Pathologist and Founder of Thrive and Shine: Speech Language Pathology/​Therapy Services. She has earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communicative Disorders and Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-​Language Pathology from California State University Northridge (CSUN). She holds a Certificate in Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-​SLP), a Speech-​Language Pathology California state license, and a teaching credential. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), California and Speech-​Language-​Hearing Association (CSHA), Autism Society of America, and the Voice Foundation of America.

Neda gained her experience through Early Intervention Program, General Clinic, Aphasia Clinic and Fluency Clinic at CSUN.
