We are already well known in Malibu where Tra di Noi Malibu accommodates the Malibu lifestyles of its many families and celebrity residents, said Alessi. «Now we hope to become rooted in the Beverly Hills community where businesses flourish and residents with families will also be able to enjoy our healthy Italian cuisine.»
Featuring celebrity chef Francesco Velasco’s and his signature alta cucina Italian dishes using seasonal vegetables from local farmers, customers will also find wild-caught fish, and sustainably raised meat. Velasco’s famed truffle menu – a favorite of Pierce Brosnan – will definitely be executed in the new spot.
At lunchtime, artisan cheeses and salumi (cured meats) from Salumeria Rosi in New York and Parma, Italy, are sliced and diced, and sandwiches of all kinds are assembled. The namesake focaccia might be made into a sandwich with grilled veggies and pesto. Ciabatta is layered with meat and cheese and then pressed into panini.

Francesco began working at Tra Di Noi, October 1, 2007, where he says he has the freedom to cook from his heart, and to bring his own passion and skills to creating «cucina autentica». Collaborating with Tra Di Noi’s already established team, he is always searching for the finest cuts of fish and meat, as well as delicacies, fresh and seasonal ingredients. In his spare time, he enjoys reading cookbooks, making pizza with his two daughters and loves to swim.
