Violetta is good. Damn good. I believe she trained at a couture house in Paris for several years before immigrating to the US. And from the work I’ve seen her do, she understand clothes, and is very careful with very intricate things(beading and lace). Wow, some brides can be just AWFULHUMANBEINGS. Saw this happen with my ex-bff and her 6k dress(3k dress? how cheap. lol). Oh, you’re injured? You’re in pain? F*ck if i care, me and my dress are more important. HILARIOUS.

Violetta is amazing! She fixed my wedding dress 5 days before my wedding when another tailor ruined it. She is soooo amazing! Even pulled strings to get custom made buttons and was able to make it longer even when the first tailor cut the fabric too short! I love her!

It was already about a year ago that I wandered into Violetta’s. I am petite and was looking to alter a linen pencil skirt, but it was more than shortening the hemline, since there was a fancy detail on the back bottom hem of the skirt, and whole piece needed to be altered. I recall Violetta was very nice and the skirt came back absolutely tailor made for my body. It was a good experience.

0 Stars DONOT bring your wedding dress to Violetta! Save yourself the trouble. Violetta pricked her finger while altering my sisters dress, getting blood on it! When my sister asked for a discount if the blood didn’t come out she was scolded by Violetta. She was literally YELLED at. She made my sister cry!!! That is unacceptable. You know how it feels when your food is wrong at a restaurant and you’re scared to say anything for the fear of having your food spat in; imagine if you spent $ 3K on a dress that would be at the mercy of an angry seamstress! Thank goodness she got the alterations right(after my sister had to go in FOUR different times with FIVE follow-up phone calls) and WAS able to get her blood off my sisters dress. She charged $ 550 for the stress she caused. Enter at your own risk…
