Best quality international phone service I ever had Voemo has provided me efficient international phone service that is as good as that provided by major phone companies but at a fraction of their cost. Generally, I don’t leave a bad review(but yet honest) for any business on Unilocal!This one, though, I thought it would be absolutely necessary to write one for. I’ve been using this company to get international calls service to call home, and I never bothered to check the numbers to see if whatever they say makes sense or not. UNTILRECENTLY! Let me start with the customer service reps. They are all nice to you as long as they think you wanna have a business with them. As soon as they see otherwise, they hang up on you; LITERALLY! I’ve spent time to create the profile for this business on Unilocal and leave a comment just to let everyone know to AVOID them at any cost. One of the worst customer service I’ve dealt with so far if not the worst one. And here’s what I found out. The sales lady who always calls me to remind me to charge my card(when my balance is roughly at $ 5) called me on DEC. 28, and I ALWAYS ask her about my balance before I charge it. So, it was roughly $ 5 at that time. I know from an email dated DEC10, my balance was almost $ 38. So, simple math tells me I used $ 33 from DEC. 10 to DEC28. I just did a little calculation and divided $ 33 by the number of minutes used in that period, and the number I came up with was almost ~20 cents. So, I called back and I asked the lady about the most expensive rate they have(which is for calling cellphones home, and I don’t go for that all the time), and I was told 14 cents. I was like, seriously!!! She told me that somebody from customer service dept. would call me in 30 mins; AND it didn’t happen! I called them in the morning, and finally I got a voicemail. I called back and talked to a gentleman. Here’s my 2 cents for Voemo customer service: even if you are dealing with a customer who is angry about the service and wants to leave, you’d let him to vent and NOT cutting him off and try to rationalize what you did. I told the gentleman that I wanted my money back(ONLYTHELASTAMOUNT I DIDPUTINMYACCOUNT), and he simply said you can’t have it. I told him I’d call my bank and take care of that through them. He responded to me: «read the company policy, you won’t be able to do this». oh come on! just learn a little about customer service before you start your business. And finally, when I asked detailed breakdown of items in my account, I got no answer and my request to speak to someone at billing dept went nowhere! simply«email them!» Well, fortunately, there are more options out there; so, guys! do not ever think about this company! P. S. I would have left ZERO start if I had this option on Unilocal
