Great Italian Food! Beverly Golf and Tennis has undergone a huge transformation this past year. The course is owned by the city and run by a management company. A new management company is at the helm. As part of the transformation they are cleaning up the pub and have added a resaurant. The menu is great. A good selection of pasta, chicken, veal, seafood, and others. We had two chicken dishes. Our daughter had a pasta dish. Our chicken dishes were delicious. The marsala was perfect with some pancetta tossed in which added some great flavor. I can’t remember the name on the other dish, but, it was a lighter flavor and each individual flavor came through. My daughter practically licked her plate clean.
The dining room is small (11 tables) and very welcoming. It appears that a nice function room with a fire place is available for rent. The pub is larger and much more informal. The full café menu is available in the pub plus an additional pub menu with all the usual (chicken fingers, sausage, burgers, fries…)
This wouldn’t be the first place you would expect a great restaurant. I was hopeful when I heard about it and was very pleased when I tried it. We will be going back again and hope they survive. It could be tough being tucked away at the golf course.
