I have been looking for a good salon in the Beverly area and I definitely found it! I’m very particular when it comes to my hair and have been disappointed many times before. I went in with an idea of what I wanted done and walked out beyond pleased.
I had my hair cut by Steve and I feel like he listened to everything I said and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back!

Great salon in downtown Beverly. Jess is a sweetheart and great colorist. She will do anything to ensure the customer is happy. Always happy with my cut whether Jess or Steve cuts it. Glad I found your salon.

Don‘t be fooled by Jessica. Sure, she is a fine hairstylist but she has no heart.
I have been going to see her for almost 2 yrs. I have never cancelled and apt. I got sick and was nto able to make it and had to cancel the day of my apt. She will not rebook me because i must have caused her an inconvience. Who does that?

Just got home after my first appointment with Jessica – absolutely thrilled with the entire experience! My hair was in dire need of a proper cut/​shaping and Jessica did a phenomenal job. She was warm, welcoming and put me right at ease while efficiently styling my hair – and for less than half of what I’ve paid at other salons (none of whom achieved the beautiful results that Jessica did!). I based my decision to try this salon on the wonderful Unilocal reviews and I am so grateful that I did – it is truly a relief to find a hairstylist I can rely on and I look forward to many more visits with Jessica in the future!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I have nothing but praise for this salon. I have been in 3 or 4 times now and I will likely never go anywhere else.
I just walked out of there for a great price and my hair looks better than it did when I left a salon on Newbury St.
I have Steve cut my hair, he is outstanding. Everyone there does exactly what you say you want to a T. An inch never ends up being 3 inches, when you describe your color (no matter how vague) they nail it. Steve is the layer master. MASTER.
He gave me the hair I have been wanting for years and years and couldnt get it anywhere else. Also, all of the salon talk is entertaining and comfortable.
Not to mention that instead of hoarding their secrets they tell you everything you can do at home to have your hair look great all the time, not just when you walk out of their doors. I could not be happier with my hair.
I would recommend Jessica Salon above everywhere else hands down.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I lived in DC for a while before this, and I went to a really corporate salon. Every time I got my hair colored it was more and more expensive, and it was never what I asked for. The prices here are the most reasonable I’ve ever seen… and I have a LOT of hair. :)
Jessica is awesome at listening to what you want, and making you look awesome! I get so many complements on my hair. I am sure to refer everyone I can to this salon. Also, the customer service here is impressive. Everyone that works there is friendly, happy, and I always leave feeling really good.

I met Jess and her husband Steve almost 10 years ago after a terrible attempt at dying my own hair and have never looked back. Jess is extremely talented and Steve will make you laugh. I love this salon, my hair and will be a customer for many more years to come!

I called to make a next day appointment and they got right back to me. Kristen did an excellent job with my partial foil and cut. She listened to all of my requirements– low maintenance being the biggest. I came away with a super cute, inexpensive new hair-​do. Kristen was friendly and catered to my needs. I will definitely be going back. Thanks guys!

Best salon around. Everyone is very professional, friendly, and skilled. The prices can’t be beat and they do such a great job so quickly! Kristen is gives the BEST foils and haircuts! I left my last appointment so pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend this place and all the girls who work there, especially Kristen :-)

I have been following Kristen since she was in hairdressing school and since then no one touches my hair except her. She knows just how to cut and layer and color and foil my hair that amazes me each and every time! Also I will not let anyone else wax my eyebrows.

I switched from a BIG salon in Newburyport about 5 years ago or so. I’ll never go elsewhere. No one touches my hair but Jessica.

Best haircut I have ever had. Period. This post never posted last year for some reason… as I went to Jessica and Steve for a cut and color last spring and hope to get back in here this spring! (I have been growing out my hair for a while)

I have been a customer of Jessica since she first became a hairdresser, several years ago. I was a client at the first salon she worked at, and once she did my hair, I immediately switched to her as my stylist. When she left that salon, and opened her own, Jessica Salon, I was thrilled. She gives each client her undivided attention and listens to what he/​she wants. She also gives great advice on how to switch from one style to another. She is masterful with both cuts and color.
She styles my husband and teenage daughter, and her husband, and partner, is an equally talented stylist! We trust our hair to either Jessica or Steve and are always thrilled with our results.
Recently, Steve did a Keratin straightening process to my curly hair with stellar results! The prices at Jessica Salon are extremely reasonable, with high-​quality results!
You will not go wrong with either Jessica or Steve. They are positive, upbeat, and personable, and you will leave the salon feeling great!

Last yr my husband got me a gift certificate to Jessica Salon as I was in need of a new hairdresser. I walked in with my young son in my arms to make an appt. I hadn’t done my hair that day so it was pulled back. The man wanted to know how long I would spend on my hair and if I styled it every day. Being a new mom I honestly said it there isn’t a lot of time for spending a lot of time on it. They told me that was like going to the dentist and telling them you aren’t going to brush your teeth. I was appalled. I left without an appt and very insulted. Later I returned for a refund of my giftcard.

Supremely nice people. Jessica did a great job on my hair and I was surprised at the low cost. 100% recommended!

she is very pleasent to chat with and works quickly.
i would give her the full 5 stars, but it is actually her fiances/​husbands attitude and constant talking that takes away from the experience. he is one of those «know it alls» that is an «expert» on everything.
but she is so good it is worth dealing with him around.

I started with Jess when I worked in Beverly, referred by a friend. When I changed jobs, I stopped for a while. But I am back with Jess — totally worth the hassle of coming in from Boston on the way to Rockport.
Jess is very talented, the shop is comfortable and the experience is altogetehr positive.

Best salon on the North Shore. Actually I would say best haircut in the Boston area.
Don’t be fooled by OVERPRICED Newbury Salons. Jess has all the right moves. (With her scissors)
Great prices, only uses high end products, AWESOME color selection.
What I love the most about Jess is every time you go in her hair is completely different. Long, short, pink, platnium blonde…
if you are in the North Shore area try her out. All my friends drive from Boston, and my mom comes up from the Cape!
