Established in 1986.
Established in 1986 Orthopaedics Plus, a therapist owned facility has been providing outpatient Physical Therapy and Athletic Training services in Massachusetts since 1986. With private practices in Beverly and Burlington, Orthopaedics Plus specializes in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries and treatment of the spine.
The Physical Therapists of Orthopaedics Plus have extensive training in orthopaedic manual physical therapy through its nationally accredited teaching facility, The Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy www.iomtwoburn.com. This training ensures that patients receive the highest quality of care through the principles of differential diagnosis, patient education, graded exercise programs and advanced manual techniques.
Additionally, Orthopaedics Plus also provides and manages physical therapy services for Winchester Hospital.

Ellen Poveromo PT, MTC
Ellen, a 1984 graduate of Simmons College, is the Director of Treatment at Orthopaedics Plus in Beverly. Ellen received her Manual Therapy Certification in 1991 from the Institute of Graduate Physical Therapy and has been practicing on the North Shore for her entire career.
In addition to her normal caseload, Ellen has a special interest in a variety of sports injuries, including those of her fellow distance runners and works with breast cancer survivors in our Reach for Recovery program.
