Super delicious food, great service and many comfy spots to sit. I had the quiche special and it was so delicious, a really nice flaky crust and delicious filling.

So, here I am — in Biddeford — hungry but really tired of eating at restaurants… I know, I know… But I’m on the road 60% of the year and it just starts to get old. Trust me. Anyway, I decide to just go with whatever Unilocal tells me to do and I find a review from Steff D. that made me want to give the place a try. The added bonus was that it’s only about 20 feet from where I’m working! Biscuits & Company is on the corner of Bacon St which was a good sign! Park at the free lot next to the police department and you’re a 30 second walk away. Step in and you find yourself in an open, airy, and fun space that includes a short treatise on biscuits in a wall mural! Menu is on chalkboard above the counter and the staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Pulled Pork Biscuit. It was prepared and delivered to my table quickly. The biscuit was amazing and the pork was tender and tasty. I’ll be here the rest of the week and I know I’ll be back to sample the rest of the menu!

We followed a Unilocal recommendation and were just blown away. One of the best breakfast joints in Maine. Ok, probably New England. Especially if you like biscuits. Ham and egg and cheese on biscuits. Fresh seared salmon on biscuits. Gravy and biscuits. Great baked goods. Amazing home fries. Fresh squeezed OJ. And the owners and staff are so devoted, and kind, and sincere. Great food, great vibe. We can’t wait to return.

This is a great place to go with friends or solo for catching up on homework(free Wifi) while grabbing a great home cooked breakfast or lunch. I love the biscuits and sausage gravy. They use the freshest ingredients!

Stacy is a wonderful woman whom greeted us with very helpful ordering information as we entered the restaurant. The décor is an eclectic mix of industrial, retro and country. Good food!

Cool vibe. Big, open room. AWESOME service. you can tell everyone loves working here. The biscuits were a surprise — they were fresh and savory — but lacked the traditional buttery/salty combo that makes biscuits so delicious. Recommended!

My boyfriend and I drove 30 minutes to come here because the pictures looked so good– and it was so worth it. The place was cute and clean the staff was nice– my boyfriend got the Pop’s Cure and it was amazing. The bacon was amazing. Thick cut and cooked perfectly. The gravy was just light enough to make the meal not too heavy– and they give you a great amount so there’s some for every bite –I got the breakfast Sandwhich with bacon and it was really yummy. The iced coffee was good too and I’m picky. Really loved this spot it was a little more expensive than I’m used to spending but if you want quality food you have to pay for it and o would recommend it to Anyone. We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends :)

We found this joint on Unilocal after trying to go to another place nearby. Amazing does not begin to describe this wonderful Biscuit place. Food is amazing, service is great, atmosphere is fun. Wish I lived closer, I’d be there more often!

I was the child of a bread salesman. So I’d like to think I’m well versed in all things carb. I was a very round tween because of my love of toast, english muffins, bagels, rolls, you name it. So, I’ve back off a bit from the bread department, but I’ve still got a seriously soft-spot in my heart for biscuits. Biscuits with butter. Biscuits with jam. Biscuits with honey. Biscuits with molasses. Biscuits with butter AND jam AND honey AND molasses. All day.(Okay, not all day, because I know what that would do to my formerly round body, but every so often). The first time I met Biscuits & Company it was at a holiday party. They were offering biscuits smeared in maple butter topped with bacon which I couldn’t eat. I was sad. You don’t tell a carboholic they can’t have your biscuits. I will eat your biscuits, Biscuit & Co. And since then… I have. Often. And I will continue to do so. Often. Their location in Biddeford is charming. It’s open, it’s airy, it’s bright, it’s clean, it’s inviting, it feels artsy and European, and I love it. I like how accommodating they are to big groups, I like how encouraging they are of work-from-homers using their location as an office, and I like how open they are to suggestions(my friend asked for molasses for her biscuits… they didn’t have any, but brought her out some complimentary honey with an apology and promise they would definitely consider adding molasses which felt genuine and not at all like lip service). The customer service here is the real deal and it’s so refreshing. The biscuits are what you’re coming here for though. They’re big, they’re melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and they’re comforting. I’ve had the«The Big Breakfast» sandwich which featured egg and cheese with roasted tomato, greens, and their own sweet red pepper relish. If you’re a breakfast sandwich lover, there’s no way not to love this one as well. When I first went, I wanted to add fried green tomatoes to it, but that isn’t something they do on the weekends. Big disappointment, but I totally understand that they only have room in their kitchen to do so much(especially during the rush of weekend breakfasting). I am excited to return to try this, to try the The Dana(think goat cheese, pesto, roasted tomato, fresh basil, and mixed greens topped with a roasted garlic balsamic glaze served on a biscuit), and to just enjoy a biscuit with jam. I’m sad they’re not closer to me, however I also enjoy no longer being round… which I would revert back to being if they were any closer to my homestead!

The reviews are true! Awesome little spot down by the Saco. This what you think of when you picture hometown Maine. The service was awesome and friendly. The food was even better. First time ever having biscuits and gravy and I am now obsessed. Not crowded even at 9am on Sunday morning. Got in right away with our own private table. Coffee was on point and the man behind the counter actually brought over a free sample kale salad for us to try that they just got in from the farm that morning! I’d give it six stars if I could!

PUTYOURHANDSUPANDGIVEMEALLTHEBISCUITS!!! I am obsessed with this place. Despite the fact that it is in seedy Biddeford(message me and I will tell you why I get to call it that), this place is a warm and inviting spot of sunshine. The space is open and airy, but still beckons you to come in, get coffee and enjoy the large windows. I like that the coffee is serve yourself and that they have big thick mugs to enjoy it! There is a large family style table in the middle and smaller tables scattered around the restaurant. The food is heavenly. For the southerners out there: this is not meant to be a replica of southern cooking. Instead, it is more of a hipster-cool but not snobby reinterpretation of the original biscuit and gravy concept. Personally, I’m obsessed with Doc’s Cure, which is a biscuit, sausage gravy, an egg, and thick sliced bacon. While cruising for a heart attack is my thing, they also have«healthier» options with salmon. What I really enjoyed is how they attempt to accommodate others with food preferences(read: allergies or vegetarians). While I am not a vegetarian, I appreciate the thought process that goes into welcoming everyone. Every time I go, I get a box of biscuits to take home with me and it is always gone in 2 days by the rest of my family. The staff is super friendly, but it is very sincere. Everyone that I have encountered has sincerely wanted you to enjoy your time and have great personalities. The only drawback is it isn’t in Portland(maybe this isn’t a drawback as I’m pretty sure I would eat here every day if it was) and that they do close somewhat early for my lazy self. FIVESTARS. GOHERE! ITISWORTHTHEDRIVE!!! (maybe walk here so you can burn off all the calories you eat?)

Yesterday, a large group of us visited Biscuits & Co., and boy, I can’t wait to go back! Where to begin. Well, first, I should say our group consisted of 12, so our organizer called ahead and they were gracious enough to reserve us a large family style table in the center of the shop. This is great as everyone knows — brunch on a Sunday with a large group can be challenging to say the least. When we arrived at the shop, the table was clearly marked and waiting for us. Sitting in the center of the place was great as it afforded me the opportunity to take in the ambiance. This place is cute! So many details from the large word mural defining the biscuits and what makes them unique, to the large menus on chalk board and butcher paper, the shelves with unique to Maine items, and so much more. For ordering, you go to the counter, place your order, pay and then return to your seat. When your food is ready, servers do bring it to your table. Considering our large group, it was very smooth and efficient. And, every order was correct! Way to go! Now, onto the most important part — the food! The menu was pretty extensive, especially considering almost everything is biscuit based. We were there for brunch on Sunday, so some of the items were not available. But, truly, the selection was still pretty expansive. I ended up ordering the Eggs Benedict Sardou — I am an eggs benedict nut! Love them. And, I often prefer the twist a place offers instead of the traditional. So, I ordered their twist which included a lovely artichoke hearts and spinach sauce instead of the ham(so vegetarian friendly). It was really quite delicious. And, the star really was the biscuit, as it should be! I also have to give a shout out to the home fries — perfectly seasoned, slightly crunchy, just what I like! Couple last thoughts. The owner here is friendly, knowledgable, accommodating, and passionate about local business. What a great lady! And, finally, I can’t wait to return and try the Pulled Pork in MOXIESAUCE on a biscuit! Gosh, I wish they were close enough to go today for lunch!

Five stars for the ambience, service, and sent from heaven drop biscuits. I am so thankful for the tip off from a pier 77 hostess about this place. The biscuit game in Maine was already pretty solid with St Joe’s but I have to say Biscuits and Co has stolen the show. Since early July we have been enjoying an occasional weekend biscuit breakfast here. From the egg sandwiches to the Pops cure(biscuits and sausage gravy) to the wild blueberry muffins, you really cannot go wrong. And I love love love the décor! So try to dine in if you can. Sunday had an extended brunch menu with salads, omelets, and French toast. Just a note — these are not pull apart southern biscuits, they are slightly sweet New England drop biscuits and that should help set your expectations properly. t

It is great. Not the soupy gravy but thick robust with lots of meat. The biscuits were delicious as well. The bacon Mmmmm. Will definitely return.

Big dense moist biscuits, stacked with really good ham, egg and farm fresh Pineland cheese. This equals a heavenly breakfast sandwich. I also had a super yummy ice coffee. Combined with friendly, quick service and plenty of comfy seating make this downtown Biddeford spot a winner. Next stop, trying their Sunday brunch!

Them biscuits! Mmmmmmm. Love the Pop’s Cure, which is basically everything on the breakfast menu in a bowl. Not too much, but plenty filling. Iced coffee is great. Hipster-approved.

Points for adorable-ness and for vegan/veg options! When you walk in the door of Biscuits & Company you walk into a country-kitchen with hipster influence. They have a surprisingly large menu — it’s amazing what you can do with a biscuit! The staff that greeted us was very friendly and patient while I figured out my indecisiveness. I went with a biscuit with vegan wild mushroom gravy and an egg. My other half got the biscuit with sausage gravy and an egg. The biscuits were DELICIOUS and huge! I thoroughly enjoyed my biscuit with gravy, but I have to admit I was expecting a creamy gravy, even though it was vegan. The wild mushroom gravy has amazing flavor, and I would order it again, but for whatever reason I did not expect a broth-like gravy. Great flavor, but I would have enjoyed it more if it was a little thicker. The other half really enjoyed her meal, though she said it was not quite warm enough. Flavor was great — but it was not hot hot when it arrived. We also got an iced coffee(yum) and a cookie to go(doubleyum). My wife said it was the best cookie she’d had in a long time. I can’t wait to go back and try a breakfast sandwich — of which there are many options! Toward the end of our meal we were approached by the owner who was SUCH a sweetheart! We could tell she put her heart into each biscuit and was really sincere with customers. She takes pride in her new restaurant and was happy to hear feedback. She also recommended things to do after our meal, since we had never been to that part of Biddeford before. Service and atmosphere is a 5+++. Food was very good, but needs to be perfected. I’ll make the trip from Portland at least once more to check them out again!

Oh Biscuits and Company, I really wanted to love you! I wanted to swoon over your biscuits and gravy, I wanted to sing your praises, but it seems that it just wasn’t meant to be. I will start by saying that the biscuits here are amazing. They have a great density and the flavors are amazing, but sadly, with everything I ate, all I could taste was the biscuit. I ordered The Dana, a vegetarian sandwich with pesto, roasted garlic and balsamic over roasted tomatoes, mozzarella and mixed greens. Instead of these amazing and potent flavors coming out and complimenting the biscuit all I could taste was the biscuit. My significant other decided to try the Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. When it came out it wasn’t even warm. I understood it was a chilly day and the room was a bit cold, but that would of made an steaming plate of this not only comforting but also welcomed with open arms. When I asked him what he thought, I received a simple shoulder shrug and he just said«Okay». When I tried I bite of it I found the same reaction. The gravy was cold and it was lacking flavor. I will say that the coffee was amazing! The significant other couldn’t stop raving about it! Oh Biscuits and Co. I hope to try you again, but I don’t know how soon I will return.
