Getboards Ski & Snowboards

What a great rental experience.
I’ve rented from Get Boards twice now, and they pretty much forever have my business (until I get a new board).
All the staff are incredibly helpful and super friendly. Completely hassle free, minimal paperwork, and you can get in and get out in about 20 minutes or less if you know what you need.
As an intermediate snowboarder I went with the sports package for $ 35. (Choices= basic, sports, pro)
Super close to both Summit and Bear Mountain, there are two locations of Get Boards (one block apart) but I prefer this one. Just more inventory.
Best part? Easiest drop off EVER. They have an obvious station outside in the parking lot, and you just hand them the card they gave you when you picked up the gear, and drop it off. Done.
Added bonus: magical selection of beanies and other gear for sale!

Eddie, Jessie and Haley are the best! Got us set up and out the door quick! And the rentals are a really good price!

This place is awesome! The staff are very friendly and welcoming… Eddie and Harry were very helpful and really nice. We even got to pick our snowboards and boots which is nice since most places just give you whatever they want. Overall we really liked this place.

Renting here is a much better idea then renting at the ski resorts. Even though the lights were out because of the snow… The young tall blonde girl helped us out quickly, she was super sweet and accommodating, seeing as they were working in the dark… I recommend renting the night before. We will be back to this shop in the future for sure! Thanks for the great experience!

A really get spot to get your rentals just before you hit the slopes, as it’s super close to Bear and Summit! This past trip was so slammed with people coming up to Bear to board, due to the El Niño storm that unfortunately we never made to the slopes. I was able to return my rental since I never used the snowboard and they gave me voucher for a free rental next time I come up! :)

This is THE PLACE to get your rentals! Their equipment is in excellent condition, my daughter’s skis & boots were brand new! The snowboards were cool and well taken care of. All the guys (Andy & Vaughn) were super helpful. The prices were unbelievable. It would have been 3−4x as much at the ski lifts.

This brown bald guy had a horrible great experience with this location. The staff were terribly helpful with answer our questions and got us on our way. ;) as I told them I’d be giving them a terrible review so I would mos def recommend this place for those looks for snow board gear rentals. Definitely coming back! They’ll let you play indoor basketball too! Thanks again y’all!

Nicest staff, it was a super busy weekend but they busted their asses to get us our rentals. The packages are great, they’ll work with what you need.
I recommend going the night before the first day you need the skis, their hours are pretty late, and definitely do the «check in» on Unilocal for the 15% off, it pays for the insurance and tax.

Spencer and Shannon were a great help. We lost our car keys on the mountain and couldn’t return our gear in time. They helped us out and arranged a pick up. The whole experience was great.

Great shop if you need equipment or clothing rentals, they also carry a selection of socks, gloves, goggles, and gear. Definitely recommend this place. Harry was nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Thanks for being so cool and patient.

Harry is very knowledgeable about everything from boots to boards to the slopes and he was supper helpful and patient with us.

I would definitely rent here rather than at the parks. This place makes it easy to stop in and get rentals real quick.

Tony and the staff at Getboards are the best on the mountain. I have been an instructor at Bear since 1992 and I get ALL my equipment from Getboards. Best service and best prices — hands down. They will order anything if not in stock and they go out of their way for the customer.
I have had them tune my equipment over the years and NEVER had a problem. Other instructors have been elsewhere and the skis were almost un-​skiable after. I have never experienced that from Getboards.

Tony at Getboards takes care of the Bear crowd better than anyone. Great demo equipment and awesome service add up and he is hands down the best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Left 2 boards to be hot waxed and a small repair to the nose of my board. They recommended I leave them over night so the wax and repair could set. I left them around 6:30pm and was there at 7am the next day when they open. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes for them to what seemed to finish the job. I was thinking… ok they scrap the excise wax off no biggie… but when I got the boards my nose repair was still wet and sticky. I took them a just left. I would bet that they had just put the epoxy on the nose and scrapped the boards last minute to look like they did the job fully. Would not recommend for repairs. Wax was wax hard to mess that up.

First time here and Robert helped us. Awesome guy and very helpful. Rented full gear. Definitely will come back :)

Went in for snowboard rentals. Was in and out quickly. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definately be coming back again for rentals!

They are very very helpful! definitely recommend here! it is very cheap with all the board, boots, and bindings together (cost was total of $ 23.50 + $ 2 (insurance)).
when i came in from the other getboards (there are two stores), my friends and i got the boards, boots, and bindings right away (the other one was super crowded but this one wasn’t). they were very helpful with giving you the boots, finding the right height board, and doing everything for you. i enjoyed talking to them bc they were so friendly, helpful, and let’s not forget hilarious! i also thought it was great (for me) bc the guy that put my bindings on said i can go either regular or goofy without fixing it. why? bc of the length from the tip of the board to bindings are the same. since i dunno if i’m regular or goofy, it was a huge plus for me!
i did mention earlier we got everything including insurance $ 25.50 but we got a 15% discount with Unilocal deal so we pretty much got it all for approx $ 22. that is NOT bad! that is actually super cheap! GET IT FROM HERE when you wanna rent a snowboard!
