Description

Specialties

We found a historic mountain retreat built in the early 1950s and breathed new life into the property, combining vintage charm with modern design.

Noon Lodge at Mallard Bay strikes that perfect balance between smart clean design and rustic outdoor charm. This endearing getaway harkens back to a bygone era of exploring mountain trails, cannonballs into a lake, laughing around a campfire and gazing at stars.

Our boutique lakefront lodge is located on a quiet residential street just 1.3 miles from Big Bear Lake village center’s restaurants, shops, and activities.

History

Established in 1950.

Built as Henry’s Cottages in the early 1950s, the lodge has a rich history and connection to the Big Bear valley. Prior to our ownership, the same family operated the hotel since 1964 under the name Mallard Bay Resort. Noon Lodge at Mallard Bay was established in 2015 after the resort underwent extensive renovations.
